I ordered 2 dance shoes that were too small and wide for my feet. In order to return them, I had to pay for shipping costs to China which was almost half the price of the shoes. You cannot speak with anyone on the phone so I had to deal with online 'Molly' from customer service. They made it extremely pricey and difficult to return the item. I will never do business with them again!
Turns out that my refund was held up by customs in China but after I brought the matter to the company's attention again, they immediately issued the refund.

Sizes are to small you need to go up 2 sizes in order for them to fit

Ordered 3 dresses checked the return policy before. Said could return but then when wanted to return they said they were special order and that is not true. Never gave any measurements or anything they were just off of web site. So they lie about returns very unhappy this is a complete scam. I really did my homework and checked and then it was different after the fact. Would never recamend this site to anyone.

Lightin thebox advertised Men's Motorcycle Retro boots that looked leather and vintage. When the boots arrived, they were cheap looking plastic and very low quality " Nothing like the picture they posted.
Their return policy is horrible because they say, "we don't have the return label service", and make it difficult to send back the merchandise you cannot use FedEx, UPS, DHE, only your local post office. The retailer is a scam that sells the lowest quality product. Stay away from buying anything on their Websight. It took me awhile to place a review on them because everything is blocked from trying to write a review. The photo on the left is the Dark Retro brown boots they posted. The ones on the right are the plastic boots with a small thin buckle that I received.
I received an email from them today saying that they're willing to reimburse me back almost all of the purchase and I do not have to send the boots back but asking me if I'm willing to update my comment on what I posted. I will not update my comment or change what I wrote about this company in my opinion I strongly feel that their Websight will continue to post items that are fake! They have listed the boots out of stock now. My guess is after I posted a picture of what the boots look like everyone stop buying them.

The Light in the Box web site shows fabulous styles and colours. Foolishly I had a knee jerk reaction and ordered some greatly needed tops. BUT much to my disappointment the items ordered were not what was advertised. All the tops were poorly made, did not fit and three items were substituted for a different size. The cost of postage to mail these items TO CHINA greatly exceeds to cost of the items. And to add salt to the wound the duties and taxes paid for these awful items also exceeds the cost and value of these tops. My advice is DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LIGHTINTHEBOX! This COMPANY IS A TOTAL FRAUD and CRIMINAL

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
