The clothes are very cheaply made. I just received a dress I ordered. It is nothing like the picture. The fabric is different and very cheap. I have tried going on their site to find out how to return my item. The site is very complicated and does not respond. Also, they do not send a return label, so you have to pay yourself.

CHINESE COMPANY, RIP OFF! I purchased two items from Light in Thé Box and thé two items I received (linen Dress and white Culots!). The dress fabric was see through and thé culots were polyester, paper thin and just plain awful. I requested a return label and they are telling me that thé items had to be returned within 7 days of receipt. As I was on vacation until March 2nd, thé return time had come and gone! It took over a month to get thé items, which resulted in me being out of the country when they finally arrived. I have been going back and forth with them via email and they are willing to give me $3 for each item. The audacity of them to not want to return thé full amount. It would appear that this is their MO. They send you junk and then want to negotiate how much money they are willing to refund you. PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY! Buy Canadian or US!

They stiffed me out of $151.00--never sent the products. I am filing with the US Attorney General and the US Inspector General as they should not be allowed to sell in this country. They take your money and send nothing! I requested a refund several times and they did not refund me. At one point, they said they cancelled my order and still did not refund me. In fact, some of us are trying to get together a class action suit.

I ordered two items that were advertised as "sweaters" from Lightinthe Box. When I got the items (in a timely fashion) I was very disappointed because they were thin tops not "sweaters" at all! I spent $69.00. The company offered me 3 options--a)keep item $30 rewards b) keep item and get a refund of $25 c) return item to a Chinese address for a full refund. To return the items it would cost me more than the items are worth as they want a tracking number ($70). I am in Canada and the site advertises as Canadian however there is no warehouse in Canada so I'm not sure why they advertise this. I certainly will never order from this company again it's much more hassle than its's worth. Not only that but one of the tops came and was missing material at the neckline--like someone forgot to finish sewing the garment Unfortunately I can't post pictures.
March 16,2022----Lightinthebox has returned my money to my credit card but it wasn't until I finally, after 3 weeks of communicating with them and getting the same answers and posting a bad review. Did they refund this money. Much too much hassle to use their site again.

The photos are beautiful but, after having paid quite a lot above list price for shipping, I found the item I chose was completely the wrong color, and the wrong size as well. Return is complicated; among other things, I must pay shipping costs to China! I would avoid this site.

Part of the product was installed upside down. Customer service is fast but totally unsatisfactory. Light in the Box has an excuse for everything that they don't completely ignore. The boxes were crushed when they arrived, should have used better packing.

I just ordered a dress for a wedding next month. This is the first time ordering from them. I love the dress and it is something I could afford. When I received my PayPal receipt it stated that shipping was not included. The dress was $27.99, a $3 coupon and with shipping, custom tax etc, it came to $37.37. I assume since I paid a shipping fee there will be no additional shipping fees. Also after reading reviews I am very nervous about fit. I measured according to their size chart. As tracking shows it was sent a day after ordering, I cant see it being a custom fit. My fingers are crossed as this site as beautiful clothes.

I ordered a dress from this site. I wasn't happy with the quality and design, so I asked for a return address, after many many emails, they let me know, that I can return it on my own to CHINA! I take it as a loss. This should not be allowed.

Bought some dungarees from here. Quality of the fabric was actually laughable it was so bad. The colour was totally different to what was ordered, the whole garment, fabric, colour, cut etc was just so different it was a scam. There is no way to post a genuine review on the website, the returns are only processed if you pay for shipping back to China. Absolute scam.

I ordered 3 vests from this company. I measured my husband to make sure the sizing was weight. According to their measurements there should have been plenty of room to spare. After a long weight time they arrived and one zipper was broken and all three were so small they would maybe fit a 14 year old. Not the measurements they display. Tried to contact the company for a return but all you get from customer service is an e-mail telling you to either ship it back to China and pay the shipping cost which is more than I paid for them and wait 2-3 months for a refund or they will give you 2 rewards points or 10 percent of the purchase price back to keep them. Tried to respond to their e-mail but lightinthebox.com is an invalid address so can't get through that way. No customer service number available so stuck with no one to help. What a rip-off company. Just lost $120. Hope they choke on it. My advise to anyone planning to order from them is don't. Look somewhere else. Be smart.

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
