Life is Good Reviews Summary

The company's reputation has significantly declined, with numerous customers expressing disappointment in product quality, particularly regarding the durability and material of t-shirts, which are now perceived as thin and prone to damage after minimal use. While some customers have praised recent positive experiences with customer service and product satisfaction, these sentiments are overshadowed by widespread complaints about delivery delays, inadequate support, and challenges with returns. Overall, the feedback indicates a growing disconnect between customer expectations and the company's current offerings, suggesting an urgent need for quality improvement and enhanced customer service practices.

Ordered one in stock item 12/3. Expected arrival date by 12/17 at latest per customer service. Pkg arrived to local facility for delivery 12/16. I have recieved update daily that pkg "on way" to my home everyday for 8 days! No pkg. Spoke after long hold twice. Ridiculous responses with both agents. Literally promised pkg would arrive next day. Both told me they were telling the truth. Never again. They should be horrified!

HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE
December 13, 2021

The customer service people simply dont care. I checked on order and they were not able to provide shipping date after 5-7 days period.
I canceled the order, received no confirmation, called again and I was told would be 7-10 days.
Just from the conversation with the customer service you can just tell THEY DONT CARE.
As much as like their shirts I will never buy from them again.

Received a postcard today for 25% off purchase in the mail today. Was very interested in the shirts for my own business. When I was reading the postcard I noticed that it expires in 2 days. I don't believe this is a legitimate coupon for a business that wants customers, i don't even have time to look at the site til Saturday and it expires before Saturday.

Big let down
October 23, 2021

The only reason I gave 2 stars is the customer service reps were nice. I've ordered so much over the years. The tracking and communication have never been great but we're tolerable. However, I've been waiting over 3 weeks for my package. I've contacted the company 3 emails, one Chat and 3 phone calls. My order is ready and in a warehouse. The company says it's redoing their system and there have been delays. The irony is I actually made a more recent purchase and received it promptly. The order that is to be a gift is in the warehouse zone of hell.
I understand things happen, but this is utterly ridiculous and unprofessional and my last order.
Update. Due to technical difficulties my shipment was delayed. However, Life is Good, has stepped up and compensated me, beyond my expectations. Because of their actions and standing by their product and services I commend them. Thank you! I encourage people to do business with this company. They stand by their services. Wonderful!

I bought an expensive black T-shirt at one of their stores while on vaca 5 hours away so can't return it. Wore it twice and washed it once and it's no longer black but a dark gray. Made in Peru and quality not there.

I have been buying Life is Good t-shirts and sleeveless tank tops for several years with no complaints until this past year or two. I need new tank tops and was prepared to buy quite a few to last the warmer months. Living in FL means 10 months per year. To my dismay and disappointment, all the tank tops were "high Low" bottom hems that many women really dislike. If you are trying to cover up your below the waist-to-crotch abdomen and your buttocks, these shirts might be OK. But for women who don't want to wear "butt-flap" or "beetle-butt" or "cockroach butt-shell" tops to cover our bodies that we have no reason to cover, the least you could do is offer choices of "high-low" or square hems like the t-shirts. Our local seamstress shops thank you because they have been making a fortune as women bring the shirts in for alterations to level the bottom hems at $15 per shirt. For stores that sell t-shirts and tank tops at $7 to $20, it may be affordable and worth it but Life Is Good tank tops are too expensive to pay that much extra to make them look attractive. I am tall and slim, retirement age and have no interest in these ugly butt-flap shirts. I have nothing to hide. Give us choice next summer if you want more business!

This was my first experience with Life Is Good. I ordered a baseball cap for my recent family beach vacation. Order # *******. A terrific trip to Newport Beach/Balboa Peninsula. The LifeIsGood logo on the cap reflected how I was feeling... A Good Thing! Unfortunately, whether it was sweat or sunscreen, the cap is REALLY stained after a week. I tried soaking it and washing it, but the stains remained. I liked the cap, but I threw it away after wearing it for that week. Howard C

I wear Life is Good T shirts all year long. Even though the product is very durable, I enjoy adding new shirts to my wardrobe. I can always find new designs that I can relate to. The t shirts come in a variety of colors that I may not have previous had in my wardrobe. One of the reasons I keep purchasing is they wash and dry so well. No shrinking or wrinkles. Will continue to be a customer.

Terrible products. I used to be a fan until I learned the history of the company. For a company that promotes positivity and good vibes the owners don't practice what they preach. They literally stole the art from the creator of Life is Good. This was Gary Blehm's creation and his heart and soul.
That explains why the reviews went downhill when they cut Gary out. Now this company has generic inspirational quotes and crappy images that a 10 year old can create. The quality got worse too, probably because they only care about profits now.
0/10 do not recommend.

I've been a customer of Life Is Good probably for 20 years and not once have I ever had a problem. They really have it together. I had to make a recent return and my credit was posted to my credit card account in less than a week. A wonderful business.

I know this sounds crazy but when I went back to review my order before paying for it, the solid long-sleeve tees I selected changed from 100% cotton to cotton blend. I avoid the 80/20 blend always and double checked the colors I selected were 100% cotton. Both fabric types are the same price. Also, the prices on the sale items in my cart had been changed to $2 to $3 higher.
The Life is Good website is a bear to navigate and doesn't load properly so in some cases you can't refine the search. All too crazy, frustrating, and unethical for me and the quality has gone down. I'm done with this brand.

Buyer beware
December 15, 2020

These shirts are not made until ordered. Don't expect to receive your product any time soon after ordering. If purchasing as a gift this is a big deal.

I love the t-shirts from Life is Good and I have purchased many, however, I just ordered when they had this deal for buy 2, get 1 free. I picked out 3 online, all 3 were available at the time I ordered. When the order came, I only got 2. They said the 3rd shirt was out-of-stock. I wanted to know why I was not contacted to see if I wanted another shirt or if I wanted to cancel my order. They have not answered my question. I told them in my email what shirt I did want and I found that the one I originally ordered was available! They just don't want to give out free ones as promised!

Do not order anything from this company product is garbage. I ordered a Grateful Dead hoodie and it said it was 100% cotton and it's simply 100% garbage material. It's shiny looks like rubber can't even explain it. Trying to get in contact with them imposible! They do not respond to emails. I hate when companies take advantage of people. Trying to return product can't even find returns on website.

I've been buying Crusher Tees for my wife for a long time and the quality was excellent. They used to last for years. Now they are super thin and poor quality. They come out of the dryer all puckered and horrible looking--not sure if that shows up in picture. The material is way TOO THIN. To prove this, I weighed a very old, much washed shirt and a recent purchase. Below are the exact weights:
Old shirt: 7.75 ounces. New Shirt: 6.05 ounces
The old shirt had 28 percent more cotton than the new shirt. Neither shirt was what they call their "cool tee" line which are supposed to be thinner. I think the bean counters figured they could save money by using less cotton. At todays cotton prices that is about 25 cents per shirt. A stupid move when your selling a $35 shirt and you lose long time customers forever.

I love the design on these shirts-especially now! I have called customer service on 2 occasions. Both times I was on hold for less than 3 minutes. The person(s) I talked to totally resolved my issue. This is a company that stands by its product. If you have a problem, or question, call them! Don't just complain online. They work hard to resolve the issue. I also love the donation that they make! Life is Good! Enjoy these awesome products!

Suds
August 2, 2020

I ordered 3 t-shirts, and received them as promised. Although they were all very, very big, I figured one of my kids could use them. I always wash shirts before I wear them. One of the shirts was red. Since I was worried about it fading on other clothes, I put it in the water first. There was so much Suds coming out of it, I thought something was wrong with my washing machine. I ran it through the complete cycle, by itself twice, and was still getting suds. I finally washed it, put it through two more Cycles, and got almost clear water. 5 complete Cycles on my washing machine for one t-shirt. Today I put the other two in to see what would happen. Two shirts, twice as much suds. They have now been through the complete wash cycle and rinse cycle 3 times. I am still getting suds, even though I have added no washing detergent. Has anyone else had this problem? What do they put in these shirts that makes them Suds like this? I do not think I will order t-shirts again. I am wasting so much water.

Don't expect to get help from customer service. Waited 2 1/2 hours on the phone to get an answer to a question. Started out at number 21. When I was #1 I was only give any option to leave my call back number so they could call me back "shortly." It's been 24 hours and no call. If you take the design somewhere and have it printed... do so.

Poor quality shirts
July 28, 2020

Love the designs but the shirts leave a lot to be desired. You would think that at that price they would last more than 3 or 4 washings. I have more of them in my rag bag than in my closet.

I have been on hold for 1hr 45minutes and still have not spoken to anyone. This has to be the most poorly fun company ever. I just want to make a simple return and can't get anyone to speak with. Worst experience ever... gave 1 star only because 0 was not an option...
