Oakley prescription glasses sold through LensCrafters defective and neither will stand behind their crap. I have worn glasses all my life and never had junk like these Oakley lenses. Frames are good but the lenses are junk. This is the second pair that did the exact same thing. As the person at LensCrafters insisted it was a cleaner that did it. I only used their cleaner.
Willing to help with glasses issues with a smile on the face!
Mr. Castellon is very competent and gentle.
Lenscrafters website contact form doesn't work and they do not answer messages on social media. Does anyone actually work there?
I'm still in shock at how bad this experience was. I only decided to come here because my usual eye place still won't buy a glaucoma machine. They dilate my eyes every time and I just didn't want to do it again. Came here for the first time, got an exam, and they told me I need progressives. Never worn them before. My order came in and I couldn't wear them. I'm in front of huge monitors all day and this was not going to work.
Went back and got reading glasses and driving glasses. Both cost me over $1,000. (why?) The prescription was wrong and my right eye was terribly blurry. They told me my driving glasses are fine. Rep said. "I've been doing this over 30 years, I know what I am talking about." Well, I've had my eyes more than 50 years and I can tell you, my right eye is still blurry when I wear them. I finally go back for a third time and pick up my new reading glass prescription.
My right eye is still blurry just like my driving glasses. I have to close my one eye to drive. I specifically said to the guy, my driving glasses are still blurry. No response. I said, I guess I'm stuck with them, right? No response. He just wanted to get rid of me. I'm still in shock how this is normal customer service. I'm out an insurance visit, have two pairs of glasses that are blurry and out $1,000. Be very careful going here.
I Want my money back so I can at least see when I'm driving.
First lens crafter we went to her prescription. Wanted a contact prescription along with my Glasses only got one for glasses so they could charge me to come back to get an additional. That was in Altamonte Springs and I've been to three LensCrafters sent from one to another one that had an in-house plan only to be informed the machines down, and they cannot make sense us with LensCrafters sucks will not go back
I want to mention my appreciation regarding Jackie the Lab manager. Jackie was very professional, courteous, attentive, helpful with her expertise and knowledge when I needed assistance regarding my glasses. She is a credit to LensCrafters.
I definitely recommend to friends and family.
My wife and I are both seniors on fixed incomes. I bought a pair of glasses for her that cost over 800 dollars and was guaranteed. One of the coatings that was recommended and applied by them started to strip off the lenses causing it very hard to see through. When asked to replace or refund they said no. They insinuated that my wife caused the problem and it was not their problem. We explained that she only cleaned them with Zeiss lenses cleaners nothing else. They were totally rude and and inferred we were lying. Highly recommend do not deal with this company.
For years I've been happy with LensCrafters for my eye tests and glasses. I go to the LensCrafters in Colonie Center Mall in Albany, NY. Ten days ago I went for an an appointment for an exam and glasses. The doctor was wonderful, thorough, patient and pleasant. A young lady helped me pick frames and took measurements. She was very helpful and very pleasant too. I thanked her and told her she was a great help to me. Then came the bad part. I realized I hadn't asked when my glasses would be ready. After waiting more than a week I called Lenscrafters three times. I got a recording each time, with no option to speak to a person. There was an instruction in the recording to leave my name and number and an associate would return my call. It never happened. Now what? So I drove to the store to find out what was going on. A nice associate looked up my name and said my glasses were not ready. Another associate overheard and looked again and said the same. I asked why no one ever called me back after three attempts to reach them. She became unpleasant and said I was told it could take as much as three weeks. I replied that no, I was not told that. She insisted that everyone is told that. She said that I was fitted by a dependable person so I was surely told. I replied that that dependable person was lovely and a great asset to the business, but no, she didn't say anything about when I could expect my glasses. She became even more unpleasant and said, "It was nine days ago, not ten." She then said we don't have the time to answer the phone in person and we don't have time to return calls. We are very busy. She told me "these practices" were not her doing and came from high up in "corporate" and were made by people high above her pay grade. I asked for a corporate phone number to call to make a complaint and she said she didn't have a number. She said Google the company and talk to customer service. I told her this whole matter was unacceptable. Disgraceful to be treated as though I was the problem. I will find a different source for my vision needs next year. Just rude and pitiful.
Paying over $1000 for a pair of glasses that rattle, don't fit and the prescription done totally wrong. Cannot see a thing and then spending an hour arguing with their employees that they don't help me see, in fact, I see worse than if I didn't wear glasses at all. The Coach brand I picked out rattle and flail around my face. I'm very dissatisfied with the job I got at LensCrafters. One part of my glasses were supposed to be 2.75 and they're not. They're 2.0. Not what the prescription described. The "progressives" which I've been wearing for over three decades, on these new glasses from LensCrafters make me lift my head to the sky to see the computer screen in front of me. I see nothing out the top half of these glasses. My prescription hardly changed a thing from a year ago so my old glasses I got from Vision Source work. Tell that to your staff member who is trying to convince me that these new ones from LensCrafters are just fine and that I should get used to them. That's bull$#*!. The lenses were messed up starting with the fact they don't even have the right magnification correct where I can't see anything past the bottom 2mm of the lenses.
I want to mention my appreciation regarding an employee at your store at The Avenue of East Cobb in Marietta, GA. The employee, Fiyin, was very professional and extremely helpful when I needed assistance regarding my glasses. I informed her supervisor, telling him about the wonderful experience that I had when Fiyin was working with me. She is a credit to your company.

Let me start by saying, I really like the LensCrafters store that I use and the associates that work there. However, it is LensCrafters as a company that is pushing me away. The last 2 times I made purchases from them, one time for glasses and the second time for replacement lenses, it has taken 3 WEEKS for the lenses to be made and shipped to the store I use. I am ordering new glasses, not as a want, but as a need, and for it to take that long is outrageous. To me, it is like the doctor telling you that you need medicine to feel better, but sorry that particular drug will take 3 weeks to get in, so keep feeling awful until then. In addition, all I get is a generic text indicating my purchase has been delayed and to contact the store for more information. When I reach out to the store, I am told that the stores do not have have direct phone numbers to call, and they can only send emails inquiring. The response given to the store is just a new ETA. But why should that ETA be believed, when the initial one was bogus. There are other eyeglass stores out there, and unfortunately I am now forced to look elsewhere.
I ordered my glasses exactly one month ago. I still have not gotten my glasses yet and there is no word from them. I called last week (6 days ago) and they said it's ready to be shipped. But still nothing. One month!
Called about 1 month ago asking to get a copy of my perscription to get new glasses. There is no LensCrafters within 100 miles so I wanted to go to another store near me. They told me no problem. Waited 2 weeks and nothing. Called back and they said they send them out via "snail mail" and it will take some time. I can mail a letter from Wisconsin to California and it doesn't take 2 weeks. Waited another week and again they state they use "snail mail" and it does take time. The last time I called she told me that she remembered sending it out a couple of days ago (at least a week and a half ago). On LensCrafters web site they state they will take any perscription, they just don't want you using thier perscription to get glasses somewhere else.
I have be a customer of Lens Crafters for over 20 years and thought they valued patients. Approximately on November 12,2022 I wet to Lens Crafter for an exam and glasses. The exam was very professional and through. I decided on a sun glass and a regular pair. This was at a cost of glasses and the Protection Policy $585. I went out of town for 4 weeks. I noticed that my eyes were not seeing correctly so I went back to LensCrafters and had another exam.As it turned out the Dr. said I needed new glasses. I asked if the new lens could be put in the new 74 day frames. The agent told me it would cost more than new ones. Needing the glasses, I ordered them for about $880.00. I asked if the warranty could be transferred to the new pair, the answer to that was no. We all know that a set of glasses cost a lot less than $500. I will never go back and will advise other joy to use your company. The receipt numbers are ******* sales number ************** an the other receipt number ******* sales number **************1.
There's conflict here. As a Senior I am allowed $230 every 3 yrs towards new glasses and expressed that when I went to purchase.
There phone message states 50% off towards glasses when frame is purchased. The web states 40% off?
When I asked my sales person he said that deal was towards the second pair, that's 3 different stories, yet I never go anything off when paying for them. Today, I'm going to pick up and discuss the discrepancy.
People don't get your glasses at lens crafters, they are people that work there that don't know what there doing! They had made my glasses, when they were ready to be picked up, they couldn't find them, then I had to wait another 2 weeks., Till they had my other ones done.
Bought pair of Ray Ban J7's January of 2022. Paid $100 difference after $400 Humana Allowance. Last October went to Optomologist found I had fluid between Cataract Lenses and Eye. Did a laser procedure that removed the fluid and eyesight returned to 20/20. Went to Same LensCrafters, got eye exam and they sent glasses to Ray Ban. Picked up at store charged me $40. Got my summary from Humana and they had swallowed my $400 allowance, in other words I paid $440 for 2 lenses
They let me have $50 off on 2 frames of glasses. They also were so kind and I would say its a 10/10 for deals and customer service!
Get your glasses anywhere else but LensCrafters ay the Northshore Mall in Peabody, MA. I went to LensCrafters on the advice of my Vision insurance provider. I ordered two pair of glasses on December 9,2022. It's now January 14th, 2023 and I not only don't have my glasses yet, but they still can't tell me when I can expect them. I have spoken with local managers and a regional manager. They were very pleasant but ZERO help. I'm 67 years old. I need these glasses as my prescription has recently changed and my eyesight is poor. Never never again will I go to LensCrafters and I have instructed my Vision Insurance provider not to recommend them to anyone else.
Tell you one thing, call get told another, then call again, and told something else, don't honor there comment on replacement glasses, will talk deal, deal, deal, but just swindling me out my money
