I had my initial exam on 8-3-24, I was told my right eye was perfect I don't need an rx in my right eye, I guess it rejuvenated it's self.
They sent me a text on 8-9-24 I picked up my glasses.
When I got to work on Monday my computer was blurry.
I went back for a 2nd exam on 8-17-24 they added some power to my right eye.
I called them on 8-31 to check on the new lenses, I was told they arrived with a large scratch in one of the lenses they had to be reordered.
On 9-17 I received a text they were ready to be picked up. I picked them up 9-27.
The following Monday my computer screen is still blurry.
I called Lenscrafters they want me to come in for a 3rd exam.
They've wasted enough of my time.
I was already put off by the filthy carpet in the West roads Lens Crafters in Omaha, Ne. There are huge stains on the carpet throughout the entire business.
Brought a pair of Ray Bans and had tint added for sun protections. Had to have them replaced once because it chips off I had insurance thankfully, they tried to tell me if probably was from wear and tear over time but I had only had them a couple of months and very careful with my glasses. Now it's been a couple of months since the repair and doing it again! I have had glasses for several years now and never experienced this. I would not recommend them. Although the staff was nice and helpful it's very aggravating to deal with especially after you spend that kind of money on them.
I actually had a great time as a customer. There was a cool vibe from the store manager, as she multitasked helping customers and associates. Arianna assisted in my choice of frames and gave honest opinions on my selections. So very pleased with the entire process. My glasses were ready a week ahead of schedule. LOVE THEM!
Ordering from lens crafters online has been the worst experience ever. They will lie to you about your delivery date. Then turn around and give you a million more reason why your glasses haven't arrived. It's just piss poor customer service. If I was anyone in the market looking for a new glasses run away from this company.
Went online to find a frame I really liked before and saw LensCrafters was carrying them. Won't make that mistake again. Don't buy any upcharge coating on lenses, they will scratch, they will give you the runaround you will need to buy new glasses elsewhere. Spoke to a coworker who also had a similar experience when trying to get an itemized receipt for insurance after his wife was taken for a ride on hidden fees. Con artists 100%
They wanted more to put new lenses in my existing frames (that I bought from them earlier) than to buy a new pair of glasses. The price on my new pair was nearly $1,000 before their phony discounts reduced the price to $625. They don't care about service to a long-time customer and I won't be back.
The store manager in Spotsylvania mall store is horrible. Rude to customers and especially her co workers. If you are a male look out she'll bite your head off. Very rude to customers on the phone. Please do something or you will loose customers. Lost one here.
Went to get my eyes checked and glasses updated. They were unwilling to make a deal with me to get what I needed. Didn't seem happy that I had my own glasses and raised the price up on what was needed. Paperwork was manipulated to make everything look good on Managers End. Manager got sparky and rude, as well it got returned. Denied what his employee stated to me and didn't want to help make the situation right. Manager told me to go somewhere else from now on. Go to an Optometrist that was all in one while they are 2 separate businesses. Worst place I have ever tried to make a deal to get what I needed without an upcharge for having my own items. Gave me a refund instead of offering to help me. They are about dollars and not client help. Very untrustworthy place.
Woodbury,MN store
An employee named Theresa is not trained to work with customers. She sounds rude and it looks like this attitude does not help her to do the job successfully. She was previously given a feedback, but no noticeable progress in her behaviour so far.I do not recommend this bussiness today and suggest to train this employee for the job or replace
I went to Lens Crafters today to have a screw put in my glasses that keeps falling out. I've only had my glasses for 6 months and this is the second screw. If I can't get to a year with no problems, then I foresee future problems. The lady at the desk told me I had to leave the glasses for 24 hours for a screw and they will call me when to pick up. This is awful Customer Service! It does not take 24 hours for a screw. Rediculous! I'll think twice before I'm tempted to buy from Lens Crafters again.
I bought 2 pairs of glasses at the Northland location in Calgary. I purchased 1 pair of regular glasses and 1 pair of reading glasses. When I went in to pick them up my vision was blurry in both pairs of glasses. I brought this to their attention and they told me to go next door and have my eyes checked again. I did and received a call a few days later that my glasses were ready. They were exactly the same. BLURRY. They tried to say that my eyes would adjust. What they did was just put them on the shelf, wait a couple of days and give me the same lenses back. When I did start using the glasses the coating started coming off the first day. I didnt want to deal with these crooks again so I just went somewhere else. 100% garbage service and even worse lenses. Lenses made in China would be far superior to these. They dont care about the customer and if you complain they "SPIT" in your "FOOD" and give it back to you. If you go to these crooks you get what you deserve.
The return policy is not generous enough to accommodate the time it takes the brain to adapt to a new prescription. It can take months for the brain to adapt to certain lens features, and the 30 day return policy does not articulate with the period of it time it takes for the brain to adapt. That is why people are not satisfied with their exams. There should be legislation to protect customers from this type of business' return policy. There should be an 8 month return policy, or a one year policy for learning disabled individuals. Do not shop at Lens Crafters.
Lens Crafters store in Bethesda Montgomery Mall is the worst. They can't do the lenses right and when I complained to their customer service, the Store manager lied about what happened and what I asked for. Totally unprofessional and it is sad to see a Luxottica store fail in doing the right lenses twice and not able to fit them in a Mont Blanc frame! Wish I can give them zero stars
My wife and I are both seniors on fixed incomes. I bought a pair of glasses for her that cost over 800 dollars and was guaranteed. One of the coatings that was recommended and applied by them started to strip off the lenses causing it very hard to see through. When asked to replace or refund they said no. They insinuated that my wife caused the problem and it was not their problem. We explained that she only cleaned them with Zeiss lenses cleaners nothing else. They were totally rude and and inferred we were lying. Highly recommend do not deal with this company.
Oakley prescription glasses sold through LensCrafters defective and neither will stand behind their crap. I have worn glasses all my life and never had junk like these Oakley lenses. Frames are good but the lenses are junk. This is the second pair that did the exact same thing. As the person at LensCrafters insisted it was a cleaner that did it. I only used their cleaner.
There's conflict here. As a Senior I am allowed $230 every 3 yrs towards new glasses and expressed that when I went to purchase.
There phone message states 50% off towards glasses when frame is purchased. The web states 40% off?
When I asked my sales person he said that deal was towards the second pair, that's 3 different stories, yet I never go anything off when paying for them. Today, I'm going to pick up and discuss the discrepancy.
Stopped by Arizona Mills location because I needed new nose guards for my sunglasses. The employees were courteous and attentive and were able to find what I needed and install on my glasses. When I asked about the charge they said there was none, and I'm not even a prescription glasses customer. Really nice staff and I'm appreciative of the support. Would recommend this location.
I recently purchased glasses from another store. They were either unwilling or unable to make them fit properly. My wife, a long time Lens Crafters customer, suggested I ask if they could help. Red faced and reluctant, I visited their store. Their positive attitude immediately put me at ease. Within a very few minutes, I left with perfectly fitting glasses. Thank you to Audrey & Andrea for saving the day. I guess you know where I'll go when these need to be replaced. Oldbuck
I recently went shopping for a pair of glasses and I found lens crafters to be way overly priced on both their frames and lenses. You can buy the same elsewhere for much less. They said my lenses would be much more than every other place I went even with a 40% discount on the lenses. Meaning they must be charging at least 50% more for lenses then other places so they can give you a discount which still ends up costing you more money in the long run then if you would have went somewhere else. And $200 for a frame that in most other places you can get similar quality for $65 or less on sale. I think they should get real with their pricing and I don't see how they manage to stay in business or doesn't anybody bother to shop around anymore? Anyway, I was very disappointed with the whole experience in general and have not plans or ever going back to lens crafters.
ALL brick and mortar eye glass stores are owned by the same company and are artificially expensive. Look it up for yourself.
So, it is with some reluctance that I $#*! about one of them. I mean, what's the point? Well, be that as it may...
Lenscrafters has been advertising Clarifye as the new digital eye exam. They advertise that this new 'technology' eliminates the "1 or 2,2 or 3" experience. Through a link, Lenscrafters.com led me to make an appointment with an optometrist who didn't even have this 'technology'. I would have to go to somewhere else for it. BUT, get this - the new 'technology' only eliminates the doctor manually flipping the machine's lenses. The doctor now flips them with a button and the machine electronically flips them. IT'S STILL "1 or 2,2 or 3" for crying out loud!
I would have walked out had my wife not been with me. But, I will not patronize Lenscrafters again. Deceptive.
