Hidden fees

I have ordered from your company in the past but this time was not good. When checking out, nearly $50 extra was added to order for True Taxes. I tried to cancel my order many times via email and live chat and got very little help. I had to let the lenses be delivered and then returned. When I did ask for a return shipping label, that process was good.

I have been a loyal Lens.com customer since 2022. My 2023 rebate process was smooth, but my November 2024 order was frustrating. Despite a promotion offering a rebate, my order was delayed for weeks due to prescription verification issues, which I resolved as instructed. I never received the promised rebate form despite multiple follow-ups. Recently, I was told the rebate is unavailable because over three months have passed, a delay caused by Lens.com's failure to provide the form. This feels misleading, and I'm disappointed to lose the rebate due to issues beyond my control. I will no longer be a customer.

Hidden charges

Sure, I got the leaves I ordered. That's expected. It's just annoying that the price for a single box is $65, but the bottom line comes to $100. Is it taxes, fees, added profit? Who knows because it is never shown out itemized.

The quality of this shipment seems different than the last. I've torn 2 contacts while taking them out. They seem thinner and not as smooth on the edge. Compared to the last order they look a lot cheaper looking.

Easiest way to buy contacts

This was my first time using lens.com, and I'm very happy with the result. Their website makes it extremely easy to order. Just upload your prescription, select your lens, and check out.

The shipping vendor had a slight mishap, so the contacts took a couple extra days to get to me, but they ultimately arrived in time. That was no fault of lens.com. The only thing I wish they would do is give you the same price when you don't buy in bulk. But every company gives you discounts when you buy more stuff, so I guess that's life.

Overall I'm pleased with lens.com and will almost certainly use them again in the future.

Fast shipping, sneaky pricing.

The advertised prices of the contacts are great. Say. 50% less than a competitor. But there's a magical set of fees that are added that make small orders. While still cheaper than the competitors, it's a lot less advantageous. Think. 10% not 50%.

The contacts are fine. Shipping was faster than Zenni for my glasses. I'm not upset, but I am bothered that they played the bait and switch with the price.

Affordable and Fast Delivery!

Fast ser. Fees outrageous

Defective contacts

Yes I received my order but so far I've opened 3 sets of contacts that had a rip in 1 out of each set so 3 contacts total have tears in them so far I don't know if they're old or just defective but i bought quite a few boxes and at this rate I fear that more than half my order is defective with rips in them and a couple days ago a piece of the contact broke off in my eye and I couldn't get it out until 2 days later. I always order bulk shipments and never had this problem before and I can't afford to waste over $100 like this please reach back to me for a solution. Like I stated so far half of 1 whole box of contacts have been defective but I still have about 6 boxes not opened yet so it might be more.
