Their Yoga series laptops work pretty well! A lot of people I know use their notebooks and I also had a chance to use one. Pretty good hardware and durable!
Very disappointed in Lenovo, bought the IdeaPad 3 brand new and it's locked down on s mode, for those that don't know what that is.It locks your computer down where you can only purchase their apps(Greedy China) and they tell you that you can turn it off but you can't,which renders the computer basically useless.I will definitely tell everyone to never buy a Lenovo, what an absolutely horrible experience.👎👎👎
So I ordered my Lenovo laptop online a few months ago. I'm finding it inconvenient to use. Every time I boot it up, I am inundated with forced download/apps which is a time waster. And this is even before I can begin to log on. The security of this computer is also of concern for me. I am hesitant to use it to pay bills and do my banking on it. I have resorted to using my phone instead that requires my sensitive, personal information. I got it on a good deal, but I guess I got what I paid for.
Tip for consumers:
How I wish this company would not go down the drain as time passes, they're losing quality on their products.
After waiting for UPS to deliver a new business laptop, it turns out that Lenovo hasn't filled out a FORM to allow it to be delivered. They shipped it but won't deliver it to me. Of course, they were PAID IN FULL when the order was placed nearly a month ago.
This company has outsourced all communication to the Philippines so they have no sense of being an American company.
It was MY MISTAKE to purchase from them. Despite having a decent product, it won't happen again!
Tip for consumers:
Go elsewhere!!!

I use this laptop for school, but what I really don't like about it is that whenever I get on a zoom meeting, the audio sometimes glitches out and then it just stops.
I bought this thing in December and just pulled it out in August. I know didn't need it that bad. I got an 11" which is to small, I hate it but that's my fault. The keyboard is awkward and hard to type on. (Could be that it is because it's 11"). It CONTSTANTLY does pop ups. I can't get them to stop. It wants me to upgrade this or that. It is brand new, I don't need to upgrade anything! These pop ups will block what I am working on and sit there until they feel like going away or feel I have gotten a really good look at the ad. I have to pay for every little thing. Microsoft Office, Virus Protection, it came with none of that the first year. I am getting ready to start a bookkeeping job from home and I will have to buy a new one (that is bigger, again on me) faster and more user friendly. I have not had contact with customer service so I can not speak as to their service. My sister saw it and said they use them at her office and they hate them. She didn't specify why I just agreed. When you give up, you give up. There are better rated laptops on Amazon for the same price or less that come with more features.
So I made a mistake in buying a Lenovo IdealPad 110-15isk from Best Buy. I thought I was getting a great deal, but instead I think I bought a dud. This laptop is lacking in many areas such as a lousy Elan touchpad, one mono (very small) speaker on the bottom no less. Plus a inability to add RAM without replacing the current RAM. Only has one slot for RAM, and disassembly isn't very easy either. Battery life not great even with a low powered Intel i3. Hard drive is typical 5400 Rpm's and the. 3 MP camera is horrible, not even usable. I can't believe Lenovo even bothered to install a camera? All in all I wished I had taken back this laptop within the allotted time frame. Its probably the worst laptop I have ever owned.
I was still in the IT industry when IBM sold off their PCs division to Lenovo (who were making them in China for IBM). I have owned 3 T Series and 1 W510. On every one but the first machine my screen started to go magenta before the video card failed. They also run very hot (or used to). The other point is that on 2 of the machines the CD/DVD player stopped working properly after about a year. Hopefully Lenovo have it all sorted now - but at $3K5 I want a machine that runs well. I also rolled out some T series to a business and some were DOA, very embarrassing for me after touting their ThinkVantage superiority.
