They will not stop a payment plan of $159.00/month although I'm struggling financially and let them know that and tried multiple times with multiple people to stop it. They don't clearly let people know that you are locked in for 2 years. If I don't want to give my money to a company I SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE THAT CHOICE. THEY WILL NOT STOP THE PAYMENT PLAN AND CONTINUE TO STEAL MY MONEY WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I spoke to the what she said was the only person I could talk to about it and she started getting very rude all because I couldn't afford their payment plan anymore and want to cancel it. Disgusting. Absolutely horrendouse customer service. Especially during difficult times like this.

Legal Zoom denied that I gave them 850 dollars and couldnot find a record of my company name that was taken by another company. I was awarded 850 dollars by jamaica civil court on Sutphin blvd after a forced inquest.

I got the worst experience with legal zoom
I paid expedited processing but it took almost month they put my company on hold without communicating
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

They signed me up for a wrong entity and I got screwed on $700.
It went through the secretary of state and the entity that they allowed my business to be approved for has never been legit. My lawyer suggest refund and legal zoom f'ed us. No one was helpful. In any way. They processed wrongly and we are out of money,
DO not use legal zoom! Create an LLC directly on irs.gov

Drug me around for months starting my business saying it would only take a couple of weeks. Every step in the process they made a mistake, very rude along the way. DONT DO BUSINESS HERE, the amount of stress isn't worth it

This is a straight BS mill, they know how to string you along. Might as well fill out all the forms yourself, because it may end up being faster or the same wait time as using this company.

This has been a complete joke working with legal zoom. I don't think it's real other than AI. TEAS are outdated, no humans, only text and emails. Communication is horrible. Wasted almost $ 2000. 00. Go see a real live attorney if you want legal help. I was told it takes up to 7 months for the process. Sit back and wait.

LegalZoom is a fast and efficient service but watch your credit card bill for services you did NOT authorize. And do not bother using the mobile app, it seldom, if ever, works.

Terrible customer service, could not get answers on many questions when I was setting up my business. Once business was dissolved, they kept charging for services for 2 years, had to cancel the credit card to make it stop and then 3 years later I get a letter from a collection agency!

Use legalzoom for my LLC 2012. Company was closed in 2014 and legalzoom is charging me $399 for service agent fee on an inactive LLC. what service do the provide to be charging $399 as service agent? Call and explain they need to stop as the business was no longer in operation and the LLC was inactive. CLOSED THE DEBIT CARD ON THEIR FILES. THEY ARE STILL CHARGING MY NEW DEBIT CARD WHICH I NEVER GAVE THEM THAT INFORMATION. Pure scam and disjusting attitude

DO NOT use them for any legal or incorporation paperwork. So disorganized and no 2 employees ever speak to each other or know what's going on at all ever! They tell you a form isn't legible so they cant proceed with your incorporation. You send it and 2 weeks later get another of the same notifications. I wound up sending it over 30 times consecutively until they actually called me and asked me to please stop. They have it. Were good to go now. 3 MONTHS LATER... I get the notification yet again. I called, sat on hold for 45 minutes waiting for them to tell me what the problem is now? Then got hung up on. Had to start all over. Then a MINDLESS MORON tells me Oooooh... We just got your form yesterday. We will process it now? That was sent 3 months ago and you just got it now? I have ZERO confidence that my paperwork will ever be completed.

I made the mistake of using Legal Zoom for a registered agent for my LLC. After changing to a different register agent they refused cancel the service and continued to charge me, at which point I was forced to cancel my card so they would stop automatically charging me.

In case anyone wants to know, you can in fact be your own registered agent for your LLC, which will only cost you a one time filing fee; in Tennessee the fee is $20, while LegalZoom wants to charge $249 every year.

I went through legal zoom to get divorced to find out i only paid 500.00 to get my packet typed out by their AI when I could have gone locally to get papers free of charge at my courthouse fill them out by hand and then just pay 200.00 to file locally. I found it to be very misleading to new divorcees, I've been waiting a year now to get divorced because of the hold up on money issues. Then after paying, the instructions instructed to just take filled out paperwork to courthouse where you can get embarrassed you got ripped off and then you are back at square one in this process.

I wouldn't leave a star at all! They are rude and not helpful and can't get a hold of anyone what so ever. The call backs takes weeks and still no help.

The customer service is horrible I waited over 4 hours for an answer. After the call I had I ended up dissolving my business I order to avoid receiving a 250-dollar charge for the registered agent service which by the way is a complete scam that they say is "highly recommended". It is basically a mail service but they don't tell you it costs about 200 dollars to cancel it. Besides that, after the call to dissolve my business they recharged me another 250 dollars for the same service I did not want without telling me claiming they need to have a ra service until my business is dissolved and now I am sure they will drag their feet in order to steal more of my money. I seriously suggest not using their service you are better off doing anything else.

They charge me for the agent. Which i clearly told them not to charge. Now to change it they charge even more.

I used LegalZoom to set up an LLC for our new business. We wanted to get things up and running quickly so I paid extra (a LOT extra) for their "express" service. This was supposed to ensure that our LLC would be completely done in about 4 days. Those 4 days came and went so I contacted them and was put on hold forever with some horrible hold music playing that gave me a headache. When someone finally answered, it was obvious they were working from home because I could hear kids screaming in the background and kept having to ask the agent to repeat herself. All she could tell me was that it "should be done soon" and that she would get more information and contact me by phone or email. I never got either. This continued for over 2 months before I finally got word that the LLC was completed,... or so it seemed. There was apparently more that needed to be done on my end. When logging into my account, one of the items said that it was incomplete and said "action needed", but didn't specify what that action was. It just said to contact them. However every time I've contact them about it, I get the runaround telling me that someone will look into it and get back to me soon. As of this writing, it still hasn't been resolved. I also have noticed repeated charges to my credit card from LegalZoom for services I didn't ask for. They are an absolute nightmare to deal with.

LegalZoom charges 3-4 times more $ than most other Registered Agents. After telling LegalZoom I was not renewing my subscription in December 2021, getting a new Registered Agent in February, I receive an email from them on June 17th, it was time to renew. I emailed back, saying I have a new Agent. LegalZoom sent me an email saying they would not be renewing my subscription. On the very same day, LegalZoom charged my credit card $249 for yearly fee. I canceled my credit card and disputed this transaction. I have their email saying they were removing me from subscription, my yearly fee was due back in December 2021. This company will attempt fraud, imagine how many times they charge on people's credit cards, hoping no one sees or disputes the charge. A immoral company, stay away!

On March 10th of this year I paid for my LLC with the understanding that it would be expedited. After contacting them several times and extensive interactions I still have not received my LLC. I did receive a notice that it's in the mail and supposed to be delivered tonight. It's now May 26th and I still haven't got it but I got a tracking number. I don't know the legal term for expediting but I'm sure it doesn't mean two and a half months at my cost. I'm sorry I wouldn't refer to legal zoom to anybody if this is the way that you business.

We sold our business at the beginning of 2022. No longer needing a registered agent, I went to LegalZoom to cancel the service. They refused to do so without the name of a new agent. So I sent the paperwork to the state of Florida, plus $25 fee and sent the paperwork to Legalzoom as well naming myself as new registered agent. Upon uploading the paperwork I get a screen that says "Account Canceled" I changed our account to manual payments and cancelled auto renew. I even added a one time use credit card number that I afterwards cancelled so it could not be charged.

4 months later. Charged 299 for auto renewal on card they should no longer have. Check out the picture attached. Manual payments evidently means they will manually take your money from your account without your permission.
