I ordered a phone from Lazada, COD. The phone didn't work, so returned it. Lazada informed me that I could not be refunded any money, even though the seller agrees to take the phone back. Instead I would receive credit toward other purchases on Lazada. Now they ow me over $100.00. Days later I order something small for just a few dollars with this credit I now have. I asked Lazada about the remainder of this $100. They told me that you can not redeem the $100. With muliple purchases so I lose $95.00.
This company is a joke.

I got my delivery date scheduled after 9 days I placed an order. However, a delivery guy didn't come without any notice and I couldn't contact him either. I waited for a few more days and contacted CS. I was told my order was cancelled because of "failed delivery" and asked me to make an order again. They said that there's nothing they could do one it's cancelled. It's absurd. What's more, Lazada don't allow customers to delete their account.
1/3 of the things they sell are counterfeit copies from China... Other things you will typically get include broken products not covered by warranty, wrong size/ color products, and simply the wrong product. All of these things are sold willfully and knowingly by Lazada Vietnam. If you buy from these people you take your risks! Beware!
Again as usual without fail, Lazada failed again. "Returned as failed delivery" This time I got them. The delivery guy phoned me, I was sitting at the door when I answered, no one was outside, then he called again; and again no one outside. Every time he called he only said, "sorry no English". I then checked my tracking number and the item was returned already. I contact the help centre and all I got after I gave them the delivery guys number; sorry I cannot do that, we are not allowed to call outside our department. It is a breach of security and I will get fired.
Guys, be careful if you bought something, and then, for some reason, decided to return the goods when returning the voucher, then when buying the next product you need to buy it for the amount indicated in the voucher. If you buy something for a different amount (less than a voucher), the difference will not return to you.
As for the delivery, in my case, everything was on time, and just as easily I returned the goods. My disappointment is associated with vouchers, I did not know about such nuances and didn't expect it.
People create accounts and use fake email addresses. Often one belonging to our company. LAZADA never asks for the email owner to confirm the correct email, so we have spam, advertising, order confirmations, addresses and phone numbers of people, and a lot more sent to us all the time. There is no way to STOP THIS. No "disconnect" email, or unsubscribe, no way to contact Lazada online unless you have an account. We cannot even use the email address that they are writing to us on. Everything about LAZADA, their system, their conduct and breaking laws (including GDPR laws) sending us personal information about customers, clients, sellers, and just annoying and inefficient.
Avoid a company like this if they send your data and information out to random people, let anyone create an account using any email address, without asking confirmation.
We have wasted many hours trying to fix this, over many months, and we still get constant emails with private information sent to us.
Lazada, if you are reading this... do this...
1. Make sure people have to CONFIRM any email address they use.
2. Make it easy for people to DELETE a fake account.
3. Stop breaking GDPR laws
4. Try to be professional with basic things.
I order a Bobbi brown foundation from Lazada. When i got the item, there is no seal out the paper box. I took the jar out of the paper box, and realized that the shade was too bright, much brighter than the shade in the photos in Lazada website. Thus, I placed a return order, 2 days later Lazada staff came over my house to pick up the item. And a few days after that, I was informed in the app that my return request is rejected, and the item will be delivered back to my address. The reason is that item (the foundation) was used. I can not believe that a big company can make such a big and dirty lie. This is actually a rob. I have never ever opened the lid of the foundation jar, how can they say that the foundation was used. I call customer service, the girl who answer my call just said that Lazada just reject my order and that all. She just said the other team told her that the item was used, after I explained to her that I even have not open the lid, then she said taking the item out the box means that the item was used. That was so terrible and irrational, given that there's even no seal/stamp on the paper box. I will never used Lazada app again, and and wish that Lazada in Vietnam will soon be broke
Lazada takes the cake for being the worst online shopping experience of history. Especially regarding to quality control and product exchange.
I have recently purchased a Samsung phone from Official Samsung store listed on Lazada Mall. Within the first 3 to 5 days of use, the phone started to heat up very badly even during simple tasks like web surfing. The screen started to freeze and have a significant delay of 3-4 seconds for each interaction. I have the video proof of this malfunction.
I then contacted Samsung store and showed them the video, to which they immediately apologized and requested me to exchange or refund the faulty product. When the faulty product arrived back at Lazada, Lazada claimed that the product does not have any faults because their "technician" swiped left and right a few times and the screen responded (also have video proof of this).
Afterwards, 3 separate Lazada representatives contacted us, insistently demanded us to take back the faulty product. They only read 2-3 lines from a script repeatedly and refused to answer any questions regarding the exchange process, their office address, further ways of communication, etc.
They threatened us that if we do not accept back the faulty product, they would sell it cheaply to other parties, and we would lose the money paid via Visa card (again I have recorded audio).
Not to mentioned that I was also blackmailed by a Lazada seller to cancel the exchange process or they would come to the address I listed on Lazada and "deal" with me (I have the screenshot).
I must ask, what kind of corporate culture and customer service blackmail and coerce its customers?! I have never experienced this on any online shopping platform and it completely baffled me.
