Fast and easy

This business must belong to a bad tempered, control freak with no desire for repeat customers. I did try them twice hoping the first experience was just a bad day, but both experiences were horrible. It says you are guaranteed satisfaction... an incorrect statement. I tried to use their procedure when I got a bad, really bad, job with most weeds stomped down, uneven choppy, looked better before their service. The man you communicate with was rude, nasty, insulting and even threatened to sue me. So many nasty emails it was almost like a stalker.
I had to file a complaint with paypal who did refund me. More emails trying to bully and threaten for me to close my paypal case.
Second time, I know, why go back, but I believe people and businesses deserve a second chance, scheduled, gave all accurate details gave a generous tip, and waited 5 days, not a squeak, and then a refund with the message that I broke the rules and requested a text when they arrived, it does say they will not call but never said no texting allowed. Whatever, a good concept... I wish anyone else would do this same business model and not be a jerk with zero customer service skills, and anger issues. I would not waste my time or money, it is not worth the crazy and why increase a bad business revenue.

Barbara asked for a something that it says on the website we do not do so the order was canceled and customer given 100% refund and the reason for the cancellation was explained. There was no threats of lawsuits on this order or any other order. Customer mentioned problems with previous order in 2012 but did not request a refund so none was provided. Paypal did not provide a refund. Contractor attempted to contact customer in 2012 to resolve any problems but there was no response from customer.

Awesome Lawn Service

I've always cut my own lawn, but recently suffered a leg injury that will keep me on the sideline for a while. A friend suggested that I hire his lawn care service, but the company's prices were too high, and I needed to commit to a long-term contract. So I did a search on Craigslist, and discovered www.LawnMowingOnline.com. I'm sure glad that I found these guys. You don't need to sign any contracts, and can use their service once, or as many times as you'd like. What a perfect feature for someone in my situation. I ordered service Wednesday night, and a professional crew cut my lawn the next day. They did an awesome job. My lawn looks better then it ever has, and it cost me under $20. That's half the price that my friend's lawn care company wanted to charge me. The ordering, and payment process was very easy to use. I told my friend to fire his lawn care service, and use this company instead. I'm even thinking about selling my mower, and having them cut my grass from now on.

I have used it several times and all worked out well. I think it is pretty convenient. Except recently, I paid $27, but had to cancel the order due to an unforeseen reason before the job was accepted. After the cancellation, the job was accept. Then I sent a message through their website to the contractor. The contractor acknowledged and didn't performed the service.

Now I am waiting for my refund. I have sent them a few requests and it seems they are ignoring me...

I have other lawn service need and will only use them again if they will credit me back. I think any credible companies will take care of their customers so that their customers will come back. Then they can develop a solid base, especially for this kind of repeating business.

*********As of 9/25/2016, they have refunded my cancelled order. They also publish a new website. I think it is much better. It is more clear on cancellation policies, which are most of the conflicts come from.

I just placed 2 more orders. I tested 1 order for bid. Not a lot of experience yet. But my observation is, if you want to let contractors bid, place your price $2-3 lower than you desired price. Because the bids are all higher than your listing price. Anyway, I view this as positive since you can also pick your contractor using bid.

You have not cancelled the order on the website. It is very easy to cancel, just go to Contact Us, click Cancel Order and follow the instructions to fill out the cancellation and refund form.

This company has charged me cancellation fees after providing NO SERVICE and NO CONFIRMATION. When a dispute was created, they threatened to put $ 15 for collection and have me pay their lawyer fees. Stay away.

Customer agreed to be charged $15 early cancellation fee. Fee is in 3 locations: TOS that all customers must agree to before ordering, the FAQs, and on the cancellation page the customer read and agreed to before cancelling.

24. I placed a order and quickly cancelled and was charged a $15 fee, what was the fee for?
A: Cancellation fees are very common in service industry type businesses. Doctors, dentists, hair salons, moving companies and many other businesses charge fees if a appointment is cancelled within a certain time frame of when the service is being provided. So we adopted the same polices that those businesses do. If a person schedules services and cancels within 2 business days of the order being placed LawnMowingOnline reserves the right to charge a $15 fee. The policy has worked exactly as expected, more orders are getting accepted and mowed and fewer orders are being cancelled. Avoiding this fee is simple, just do not cancel within 2 business days of scheduling service. For example, if you order May 1st for mowing on May 2nd, do not cancel on May 1st, May 2nd (1 day) or May 3rd (2 days). The order can be cancelled on May 4th (3 days since May 1st) and there will be no fee. Of course by then the order will likely be accepted by a contractor and already mowed so there would no longer be any reason to cancel.

To make sure every customer knows about the cancellation fee it is listed in 2 places. It is listed on the Terms of Service page that all customers agree to before placing an order and the cancellation fee is explained in bold text and underlined on the cancellation page that all customers must fill out to cancel an order.

ACTUALLY MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN THAT THESE GUYS ARE THE MOST IRRESPONSIBLE, FLY BY NIGHT, AMATEUR OPERATION I HAVE HAD THE UNFORTUNATE EXPERIENCE OF HAVING TO DEAL WITH! NOW I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THEM.
My order was "cancelled" twice, the first time because I asked for the contractor to call, and the next day, when the contractor was a "no show" on the scheduled day, and i did a contact to ask if my lawn was going to get cut, i get cancelled again for "hostile and inappropriate" language" HUH?!?! I never did get my lawn cut, and had to go elsewhere...
THESE GUYS ARE SO SORRY, AND THEIR COMPANY AS WELL! THEY WILL NOT LAST LONG, AND THEIR TREATMENT OF ME AS A CUSTOMER IS EXACTLY THE REASON WHY.

Poor customer service
September 10, 2015

I used them twice so far and was fairly satisfied. Last weekend I tried again and my request was immediately canceled by them. I tried again (paying $22 each time through PayPal), and it was canceled again. No email, no explanation, so I emailed their customer service (haha) and then initiated a PayPal dispute. They accused me of lying about the size of my yard, claiming I had an acre of yard. HAHAHA... I mean, i live in an urban neighborhood of small lots! Anyway, they said they get their information from Zillow, which, as someone who just completed the home buying process, I can tell you Zillow information is almost never correct. Anyway, I sent them screen shots of the Dekalb county tax assessor plot information that shows it's only 60x210, no where near an acre. The issue is that they just outright called me a liar without emailing or asking me about the "discrepancy" first. Plus they are keeping $44 tied up that I now need to buy a new lawn mower haha.

Customer ban from website for repeatedly lying about property size. 1665 Cecile Ave SE 30316 is 43560 sq ft. Order page automatically selected correct size. Customer then changes size to less than 10,890 sq ft which reduces the price by $25. We can not mow 43,560 sq ft for the price of less than 10,890 sq ft. The contractors must be paid for the work the contractor is providing and it's not fair for this customer to think they should get a lot more service than what they are paying for. That is like paying for 1 pizza but wanting 4 pizzas to be delivered. That's not possible, where does this person shop that they think that is how things should work? I wonder if they would be happy if their boss told him they want him to do the same amount of work, but get paid 1/4th the price. Probably not, but that is what this customer is expecting from the contractors on LawnMowingOnline.com

I have used Lawnmowingonline. Come twice now and both times the service was great. The 1st time I hired them my lawn was overgrown and I paid the extra and the contractor did an excellent job and threw in edging (I paid him an extra tip on the spot plus what I had already added on the the web) The 2nd time my lawn was normal and I prepaid edging and he went beyond what I thought they would do for edging so I was very happy with the whole experience. I am in the DFW Texas area and I recommend to anyone who needs a quick order lawn mowing.

I have been using their service for a few years now to cut my elderly fathers lawn. It is about all he can afford and now I am disabled and unable to cut for him. They are unreliable. In addition they need to stop advertising for $19 sure this it what we were paying. But this last time all of a sudden they said the lawn went into bidding. The same guy who had just cut the time before for $24 plus I tipped now wanted $30 another guy offered a bid for $39. The professional landscapers only charge $35 and they do a beautiful job. Finally after 3 days of when the lawn was to be mowed a bid of $24 came in and I accepted. Well it has been 10 tens now since lawnmowing online accepted my payment terms at check out. My elderly father still does not have his lawn mowed. No one will contact you. Finally I received an email from the office stating I can cancel. But if I cancel I will not see my funds back for another 7 days. My father is on a fixed income he sets that money aside at the beginning of the month. He does not have the available funds to pay another mower and now the lawn is twice as high and will cost double that. My father is in tears he lives in a strict area where you are highly fined if the grass is too high. I just has part of my kidney removed in December and should not be in this heat but will have to mow on Sunday my day off. To me this is falsely misleading customers especially the elderly and disabled when they advertise at $19 and accept your payment at checkout and even give a mow date. Then next thing you know you are being high jacked for more money. I was told by the company I could wait it out until a lower price comes up which I did but no one showed up.
