I searched several websites before choosing to order from laptopscreen.com. I found laptopscreen.com to be the most user friendly of the sites that I viewed. I was able to determine exactly which screen to order both from the model number of my laptop and the reference numbers on the back of my broken screen. The pricing at laptopscreen.com was very competitive. I was able to replace the screen for about 60% less than a quote from a local repair shop. I ordered the screen on a Saturday and received it the following Friday from Seattle, WA to southern Florida. The new screen was well packaged to protect it from shipping damage. It was perfect fit and works fine.

The screen arrived quickly and matched perfectly. My wife is so happy to have her laptop working again after the kids kicked the display. Install was pretty well painless. I am very skilled in this type of repair, but would say this is a very easy task on the HP DV7. I have also done a MacBook recently, it was a bit more complicated, mostly due to the heavy use of double sided tape on the bezel trim.

I know it can be tempting to scrap a laptop when facing something like a screen replacement, but we need to be a little more thoughtful about our waste. Disposing of computers is harmful to the environment, giving a laptop new life with a screen replacement is rewarding.

I have a Toshiba Satellitle P755-S5381 and the screen recently cracked when I accidentally stepped on it. I was still under the 1st year warranty but Toshiba wouldn't cover for it and they were quoting $300+ to fix the screen. (Outrageous! My laptop was only bought for $650 new six months ago). Anyway, after doing som research online, I decided to buy a replacement screen from laptopscreen.com for $80 incl shipping. I was able to install the screen myself yesterday and they have got excellent videos for DIY. Their service was seamless. No issues. I ordered and got the screen in 3 days. They didn't quite send the exact replacement for my original LCD as the original was LG and what I got was Samsung. I believe they send compatible ones that need not necessarily be the same. But that's not an issue for me. So far so good and the screen looks good. So big thumbs up for the laptopscreen.com guys. I hope the product will last long. Very good experience. Saved a couple of hundred bucks. Disappointed with Toshiba customer service though and felt lacking.

It was easy to change the screen as per your video. We did it in about 15 minutes and it worked. It's like having a brand new computer. I hope I new last year that the screen could be changed. When I asked at Best Buy or Staples, they all said that you could not change it or it would cost as much as a new computer. Well I was in a jam and I bought a new computer, which I hate with passion. Now I wish I could get back to my old one with the new screen. I think it is very cheap to buy and I will tell everybody about my experience. Thank you, thank you.

OK I'm a first time reviewer... but how often do you need to replace a laptop screen if you're not a repair shop? You'll probably never hear from me again (unless my five-year-old gets careless again). I bought from laptopscreen.com after searching the internet. They were a little more expensive but guaranteed 'no dead pixels' which is what I expect from a screen. My screen was shipped promptly (4 days total) and worked perfectly. That's five stars in my book... Yes... I received an ~invitation~ via e-mail soliciting this review. So what?... I'm a happy customer;^)

This is my third purchase from laptopscreen in the last month, and I am very pleased with thier products & customer service. My first order arrived with a defective product, but they refunded the money for it right away. The 2nd order was perfect. All but 2 items on the 3rd order came right away, as two items were backordered. I now know that I dont need to worry about the last two items coming a bit later, since they seem very honorable. Will be back again. Keep up.
