His company Koodo. Bad service. Bad representatives. Don't know what they are talking about or can help in any way.
They just keep saying I understand. Really you don't.
They deny your native card for tax purpose which is against Canadian law.
Ccts won't help you.
I am looking for a company that will accept my native card number.
I have never had a problem with any company or store I go into.
Went from a plan where I never once had overage on my data to getting it on the very first month with new plan. Tried finding a person to talk to but they just sent me to a robot that texted me a callback for a day later. What the hell is with customer service these days
I recently joined Koodo Mobile. It was a very easy process, I picked the mobile phone I wanted, no money down. Started a Tab with them to purchase phone $15/month.
I then picked the plan that best suited my needs. $50/month 1G Data, unlimited canada talk and text.
The phone was delivered brand new to my house in 3 days.
Approx. 6 weeks after purchase I was looking for another mobile phone for daughter and noticed they had a great special on their plans. I changed my plan in less than a minute, it went into effect immediately. I now pay $45/month for 3G data, unlimited talk and text in Canada. I pay less then original plan and get more.
Koodo allows you to change your plan every 30 days. No need to worry your not getting the best rate available. Much easier to deal with the some of the "BIG" companies in Canada
Kudos to the Koodo techs. Savanah and Natasha, whom I dealt with today at Cambridge Centre Mall,
Cambridge, Ontario. These ladies were extremely, knowledgable, kind, helpful and patient with a woman
Who is not a techie. They helped me choose an iPhone 13 and I was on my way in less than one hour.
I have be with Koodo for eight years now and have always been completely satisfied with my dealings.
Their plans are very reasonable, tabs are a bonus and I believe I get a fair and honest deal.
I am a retired medical secretary for 35 years.

I can't say enough about the great service I have recieved and the awesome plans and offers Koodo offered to me. Been with other service providers and have never had the wonderful prices and data services they have provided. I have my son's on your service and they are as happy as I am.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, impossible to get help over the phone, waited over 1hr and 40 min for Koodo to answer my call and finally gave up. They will advise you to check their online help, there is not much help out there either. I am not getting text msgs from my contacts, not that I don't receive them at all, I receive some texts but not all. From the very first day have problems, when switching to Koodo from Public Mobile, a Koodo employee at a Kiosk just throw my old SIM cart with some my contacts on it into the garbage not even asking me anything... The call quality is good though, never had any problems with that.
Just like Dawoud A. I too spoke to Ulysses, and he was power tripping. Instead of accepting reasonable terms for an outstanding balance of $118, he suspended my service on the onset of COVID19, reported me to the credit bureau. In addition, their current changes mean you have to make a chat request for a callback. They don't listen, they waste hours of your time, and all for slightly cheaper service than TELUS. It's bargain basement customer service from Koodoo.

But have since resolved it today. I believe a company's customer service is only as good as the person on the other end of the phone on that day. This was a simple roaming charge error that was resolved in minutes with the proper experienced service rep. Yesterday was a complete waste of time as the rep either didn't know how to resolve the issue or was too afraid to take responsibility without constantly referring to his supervisor. At any rate patience and politeness can pay off.

The initial customer service reps seem not to have any authority to make simple reversals of small charges. I tried to get a $16 roaming charge reversed to no avail. The charge was mistakenly applied and clearly showed one minute or the cost of connection and $16 was applied. The rep that I contacted after waiting a half hour for a callback, understood my frustration with the one-minute $16 charge but continually had to contact his supervisor. I was cut off three times which is ironic for a communications company. In the end, nothing was resolved and I am now considering switching to a new company.
We highly recommend Koodo Store Rep. MANMEET KAUR (Shoppers World, Brampton). She was very knowledgeable and very courteous and had a lot of patience with us as we are not tech savvy.
Guys let me tell you something I had the worst experience with this company, if you're thinking about joining please don't. I tried calling them several times no help look at the images attached to this review my bills was 500+ up to 700$ a month mind you it's just calls, messages, and internet like wow! I can't wait to cancel my account!
For the last few months i havent even been able to make a phone call during the day in a town. Its ridiculous. They tried to tell me its my phone. Text messages wont deliver, internet wont load, i have 20 gb that i cant even use. And i know at least 50 other people having the same problem. It is absolutely unacceptable that they take our money every month and provide no service.
Purchased a sim card online due to discount ads seen on google only to find out that if an error was made in the input of your address that the customer service team can't correct it and system just automatically rejects the purchase. No advise on updates as to when you'll get your refund or updates of your purchase as well. No one should patronize this company nor it's services
Never, ever have I had a more manipulative and unreliable experience. You cannot trust their customer service to give you either the truth, as you are only able to rely on your bill, no matter the circumstance. I was on hold for over three and a half hours, transferred seven times, and cut off once, all in one day. They are a nightmare and I will never forgive Telusfor sending me to them for cell phone service.
I got a line but was unable to activate it because they refused to pick up or return my call, and they continued to bill me for a line that had not been activated or used for approximately three months. They asked for around $194 and provided no concrete explanation as to why I had to pay service fees or be continually billed for an inactive account. This is daylight robbery, and I hope they suffer the same fate as the people they rob.
Their service is the worst in Canada. Took a significant amount of money as roaming charges. I never use my phone outside Canada. Their system sense the location wrongly. When I am in Canada, they will send a message, "welcome back to Canada " seriously!
So please check your account on a routine basis.

The absolute worst customer service I have experienced. I have an ongoing billing issue that has not been resolved. If I ran my business the way they do I would be out of business. They allow third party companies add their unselected fees to clients credit cards.
I bought a prepaid card. They installed it and said the phone would be good to go in 1 hour. It did not work when I tried it. I went back for a refund they would not give me one as they said I had used the "service". I could not even access the "service". They didn't care. No refund for me and an easy $45.00 for them. Nice Service eh? They simply don't care. Never again with this company.
After requesting them to disconnect my service they just continuing charging me each month. When I realized about their charges. They said your service is still active. They just denied that they have not got any request for disconnection. They are cheater dont believe them.
Got talked into a deal before Xmas, agreed to an offer to receive 2 sims with unlimited calls and texts and 12 g data on each. Received a $240 bill end of January. Too many hidden fees I was not told about. Very disappointed... way better service providers out there for a reasonable price. Would not recommend Koodo at all!
Answer: After 5 years of loyalty and many After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
