I have been a koodo mobile customer for over an year and have been on a pre payment plan. My credit card was billed every month. My last invoice had 2 months on the bill stating my payment did not go through, they charged me a $25,00 fee and I had enough credit on my card. All my other pre payments for other bills went through. The 1st lady I spoke to was Pamala who refused to waive my fee and then when I was on the phone ran a charge for $148.37 including the late fee. Then I was on hold for over 1/2 when she said wait time was 11 min. Then I got Laura from the cancellation who said that she was the supervisor on duty, she had the audacity to tell me as a customer when I explained I had enough money and was will to send them a copy of my statement she said When I explained I have always paid my bills on time and this is a error on their part and I have never heard a bank charge 25.00 for a credit card not going through she said that's life. Koodo was willing let a good customer go I canceled my service with Immediate effect and she was not even sorry to see a customer go. Please friends do not use this company as their service is awful and they play out hard working folk like you & me. Never again. I do have a Telus Line as well and will be canceling with immediate effect. I never never been treated this way ever as a customer.

I was charged 735$ in roaming fees for replying ADD instead of TRAV, if you are a koodo client make sure you reply the correct words or you will be penalized for wordplay!
We highly recommend Koodo Store Rep. MANMEET KAUR (Shoppers World, Brampton). She was very knowledgeable and very courteous and had a lot of patience with us as we are not tech savvy.

I didn't have a pleasant experience using Koodo. Very poor and complicated service. I do not recommend Koodo to anyone.
Stay away from Koodo. They will lie and auction their mother to get any money. The whole Telus organization out to scam as soon as you make any contact with them.
Paid off my account and asked to close off my account. After receiving my payment send off my account to collection while I was out of the country few years. Upon finding out asking them to correct was total nightmare. Lies after lies to this day. I escalated my complaint with Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services (CCTS). Here is how Koodo responded to CCTS with their lies.

What horrible customer service. Frustrating from day 1.
I tried in August to set up kodoo mobile for both my granddaughter and I to move from Bell. There was mix-up from day one. 3 weeks later I was still having issues. The phones were all mixed up, the SIM cards were totally wrong.
Bell called to find out why we would be leaving and I told them it was the cost... I lost my job, my unemployment had run out.
Bell offered me a great deal.
We stayed with Bell. It was already 3 weeks of trying to transfer and Bell offered us a better deal. Koodo called us back, to find out why we didn't complete the transfer, I told them we were staying with Bell.
Koodo didn't make with a different offer and we cancelled. They sent an email acknowledging the cancellation but continue to send me bills since August.
I reply to their emails, I have even forwarded the email acknowledging the cancellation, and finally today I called them. They insist that I never cancelled and that I owe them over $300. They are threatening my credit rating.
This is how they treat you. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I could get a call back... and then he added that they are not at fault. Well that didn't go over well, he tried to speak over me, I didn't back down, he refused to admit they've caused the problem and now we're both typing a mile a minute. I think it's important to let other people know how horrible their customer service is. He said that he will get someone to speak to me within 72 hours, which is fine but he wanted to end the call with how the company did nothing wrong. Instead of ending the call with someone will get back to you.
My line is open now he is just sitting there neither of us is talking and this is a waste of time to get any help from them. I've never had a problem with BELL. I got a much better deal than what Koodo was willing to offer and you shouldn't be fooled by Koodo, their customer service is absolutely terrible.
They state that because I had 2 numbers that I needed to cancel both... the number was never activated yet they are charging me. I was told that the number was not active therefore the account was closed while I was on the phone... now it looks like we owe them over $300... don't use Koodo!
Koodo has the worst customer service ever. No live representative to speak to. I am 1 month with koodo and will cancel my service.

Switched from Palace to Koodo, took a monthly plan, they butchered my name on file (only knew this after the fact). So when it came time to pay, my credit card got declined. I tried paying seven times online even called in. So I decided to go in person to pay and switch to a prepaid plan ( for help from the representative). The booked me with their call automated system. The representative told me that both these operations could be resolved over the telephone. When time for the call, the person see that I tried to pay would not remove late fees, even though I tried prior to the date multiple times. When I asked to switch to the Prepaid Plan, I didn't know at the time that I needed a new SIM card and that the teller at the cash did not mention any of this. So the next day I go back in person, after a few back and forth as per usual, the manager recognizes the issue, he tried to call the phone service to help me out. They began fighting with words. On top of that is broken and the other is really tired so I shouldn't have been walking. They won't accept my credit card under any circumstance so their solution was for me to go by a loaded credit card, this cost me $7.95 surcharge. I also got charge the late fees. I only accepted to pay this because I wanted to switch to the prepaid as quickly as possible. So I paid with the visa card that I got at the pharmacy. Then when it was time to pay for the SIM card and the service accepted the credit card that they had refused the whole time. It has been a nightmare with Koodo and I was with Telus 10 years prior. They both treated me like a second-class citizen. The end.

I've been a loyal Koodo customer for nearly two years now, and I wanted to share my thoughts on my recent experience with the company. I've been on a plan that costs me $50 a month for 12GB of data. However, I couldn't help but notice that there are promotions offering new customers a $40 plan for a whopping 40GB of data. This significant disparity in pricing prompted me to reach out to Koodo's customer service, and my experience left me deeply frustrated.
Upon calling, I was bounced around to different departments, and it seemed like no one could give me a straightforward answer. After some persistence, the best they could offer me was a plan for $40 a month with 25GB of data. While this was an improvement, I couldn't help but feel frustrated that new customers were getting a better deal, offering more data for the same price.
When I questioned the fairness of this situation, I was taken aback by their response. I asked if it was acceptable for me to consider leaving Koodo in favor of a different service provider who was offering more favorable terms. Shockingly, they simply said, "Yes, that is fine." This response, to say the least, left me extremely disappointed in the level of customer service I have received.
In the world of telecommunications, customer loyalty should be recognized and rewarded. The lack of consistency in offers and the lack of effort to retain loyal customers is a troubling aspect of my experience with Koodo. It's unfortunate to feel that as a long-term customer, I don't receive the same level of consideration as new subscribers.
While I understand the need to attract new customers, it is equally important to retain existing ones and treat them with fairness and respect. I sincerely hope Koodo takes a closer look at their pricing policies and their customer service approach to ensure that they are not alienating loyal customers. I
Months ago I got a Koodo SIM card but I was having trouble porting my number over to their network. I tried to get help by using their chat/text feature and then tried all the phone numbers I could find but could not speak to a live agent anywhere (everything was automated and AI) After giving up I went back to their chat feature and requested that a live agent call me back. Koodo never called and TBH, life got busy I totally forgot about Koodo until I checked my credit card statement and they had charged me for two months even though I never used their SIM card or services. I tried calling a live agent to sort it out but once again, live agents seem to be impossible to connect with at Koodo; they always want to book a call for the following day. I instead disputed the charges with my credit card company and then Koodo finally sent an email with a live agent phone number for me. I called and explained the situation and thought it was resolved but looking back, I realize that the agent was useless and probably just counting the seconds until he could hang up. Now they've charged me for a 3rd month and since they can't bill my credit card anymore, they're sending me invoices for just over $150 and threatening to send my account to collections.
I decided to try talking to them one last time so I used their text/call back feature again and they called me back the next day, but for whatever reason this time, they required my Social Insurance Number for 'security reasons' (they didn't need it last time they called me though) I didn't have the number with me so the guy couldn't do anything and the call basically ended there.
I was thinking about maybe offering to pay for the SIM card and maybe a month's worth of services but now I'm pissed off. I'm retired and our house is paid off so I've decided to let it go to collections and just warn anyone I can about Koodo.
Update: Koodo sent my account to a collection agency and now everytime they try and contact me I make a few bad reviews on different websites.

After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff... while Bell and Roger's were offering customers additional resources at no cost, kodoo was finding ways to overcharge and misuse the power their customers have given to them... that's really sad... also as of today... Problèmes de compte, support à la clientèle qui ne peut rien faire, site web qui par hasard fait des erreurs quand les spéciaux arrivent et redevient fonctionnel quand ceux-ci ne sont plus là, double facturation.
De plus, nous sommes confronté à un assistant vocal quasi inutile qui rend très difficile de parler à quelqu'un. Malgré le fait d'avoir été client pendant très longtemps, j'ai beaucoup de difficulté à recommander de nouveau.
J'ai oublié de dire que le support à la clientèle ne retourne pas les appels tu programme un retour d'appel et rien ne se passe.
