Koodo is one of the worse communication provider in history. Please stay clear. I but the line and it was working fine. Then all of a sudden my account got deactivated. I worked up to the customer service representative and they told me as a customer to pay to reactivate the account.
I'm getting charge 19.96 extra every month for "achats d'applications intégrées" that i never purchased. Cannot talk to anyone to get a refund. There are no ways that I would be using my account to buy something. I would use directly my credit card. I am blaming Koodo for this Spam! It is them charging me extra cost for something never bought. Shame on them!
Impossible to talk to a person directly. Earliest callback is 24hrs and then they do not call back at the time you selected. Waited an hour from my scheduled callback and still did not get my issue resolved. I wanted to add my email to another account. Do not recommend Kodoo and will cancel my plan once it expires!
If you were thinking of signing up for Koodo, don't walk, RUN AWAY.

My Koodo works great. But I have no way to contact customer service sometimes. There is absolutely no email address!
And no direct phone number. First you have to spend hours convincing a virtual agent to get you a live call back which is sometimes absolutely impossible.
The virtual assistant keeps asking you stupid questions repeatedly and says they're too busy to schedual a call back!
It happened to me today! I have No Way to talk to them!
I have never been a Telus customer, but I always had the perception that they were the most customer-centric and best service in Canada. Well, if Koodo is any indication, that's a myth. Broken, slow, and constantly crashing (as well as seemingly intentionally confusing) self-service website, infuriating chatbot, idiotic default account notification settings and impossible to change critical settings (like outgoing caller ID name), and while helpful-sounding, still incapable CSRs. Not impressed in the slightest.
Advice to Telus -- don't use your low cost service to undermine your entire credibility by making it crap.
Koodo have been charging me for months for services I never had to begin with, and they are impossible to reach over the phone, which is pretty absurd considering it's a PHONE purveyor. They are going down, and I'm about to leave ship. Don't go with Koodo, it's a rip-off.
Paid $50 extra for easy roam service for trip from Ontario to Ohio june 23 to 26. Service stiopped the instant I crossed the border. No human who speaks english to call. On my return Koodo offered me 5 dollars back for the their bad service not working. I told them to keep their 5 dollars and I woud find a new phone company for the three phones I pay for.
If I could give zero stars I would. Nothing but issues with these people. Hours and hours on the phone trying to resolve issues caused by them. They charge for that! You get passed from person to person, when directly questioned they suddenly forget English or just ignore and go back to their script! Amounts on bills differ from what's said on the phone. I already canceled service and want a copy of my last 3 months of bills. I can't login to anything as my account doesn't exist. They won't send them unless I pay $15.00? What a scam. Today alone I have waisted hrs on the phone and no straight answers. Last month I spent near 3 hrs on the phone with no answers. Koodo likes to steal your money and refuses to help. The store in the mall told me what to try and so I called back, nope! They are useless. Absolutely disgusting! 3 different bill amounts in a month? Avoid them at all costs, The only garunteed things from Koodo is a headache, wasted time and scam!
A representative of Koodo came to my doorstep and misrepresented information. I fell for this trap and have been consistently charged for a sim card that has never been used. I tried to get in touch with this company numerous times unsuccessfully. So, I reported this to TransUnion as this company was obliterating my credit. They sent a letter back to me only to inform me that the company was NOT at fault. I was seething!... But as I continued to read, I saw that they encouraged me to speak with Koodo to resolve the issue and attached a number that I had yet to see while skewering the internet with searches. I called the number and finally got resolution.
The number is *******500. I hope this was helpful to anyone else experiencing difficulty with Koodo.
Tried to buy a phone while the Black Friday sale was on. 2 stores couldn't answer our questions so on the advice of store employees we we attempted to contact Koodo customer service. No luck. After days of trying on Tuesday we got a call back scheduled for Thursday. Days after the end of the sale. Talked to several employees on phone at Koodo. All four admitted delay was Koodos fault but couldn't extend sale price to us. Koodos customer service has had a major drop. Their being squeezed by their parent company and are treating long time Koodo customers with apologies but no action. I would suggest other carriers other than Koodo/Telus
If you ever need real customer service or support they will do everything possible to prevent you from being able to talk to a person. The chatbot is useless, probably deliberately so. My mobile internet was down and I needed to go back to the office in order to use the wifi so I could waste my time with the chatbot. Never did get a callback. I will make moving to another mobile provider a priority this weekend as I need the services I pay for to work and I need customer support to be available when the services I pay for do not work. What a concept. Go $#*! yourself, Koodo. What a joke of a company.
I recently purchased a Koodo Simard and ported in my number from Freedom. However, the Koodo technical support person did something wrong, and the porting process was not done correctly. So, my previous number from Freedom is now canceled and I am stuck with a random phone number that Koodo gave me. Despite this, no one at Koodo customer service or technical support has been able to help me resolve the issue. To talk to a person at customer service I have to go through a nonsense bot loop to get a call back from them. And then when I get a callback, the rep puts me on hold for two hours and just hangs up after they cannot solve the issue. This is the worst provider that I have ever seen. Please stay away!
By the way, I also cannot access the self-service portal and they are not even helping with that. It is truly a shame!
I can't say enough about the great service I have recieved and the awesome plans and offers Koodo offered to me. Been with other service providers and have never had the wonderful prices and data services they have provided. I have my son's on your service and they are as happy as I am.
Waited to get a new phone until my tab was paid off.
With getting my new phone i immediately got 3 separate fees totaling 80 dollars.
I tried referencing the tab history to prove it was paid and it was COMPLETELY REMOVED.
Ive been with koodo since 2011. All the history for all the phones was there except the one i needed to reference to prove my tab was paid.
Was on the phone for hours with multiple people including tech support
They wont allow me to view my tab history and said they would give me a credit and didnt.
Such a headache, will be going elsewhere for cell service.
I called to get information about the holiday plans and got the worst 2 representatives. First person I had no idea what he was saying on the phone. Asked to transfer to Cancellation department and spoke with rep. Ulysse. He was extremely rude when i asked to give me the offers which i didn't understand what the other rep was saying. So he kept telling me to cancel my plan because there is nothing else they can do. So i said i will shop around and call back if i decide to cancel but he was insistent that i should cancel right away and don't waste my time calling back. HOW DISRESPECTFUL! What kind of customer service is this? ESPECIALLY DURING THE HOLIDAYS!
Koodo has an Easy Roam phone plan which is included in my contract. South Africa is on the list of 100+ destinations they service. I checked before our trip. We are now stranded in South Africa due to their stringent lockdown and I have not been able to access this benefit'. I have called and emailed but no human is available (during COVID19 you'd think it was the perfect job as people could work from home!) When I troubleshoot, their digital' help blames the country for the no service signal. We have been using my partner's Rogers contract which has been amazing. Internet signal is strong and Rogers has waived roaming fees. I have no doubt Koodo will expect the monthly payment regardless of the fact that they have not delivered the service that is part of the contract
Stay away from this Horrible company! Missleading liers, and thieves. And. Their horrible customer service, avoid at all cost this horrible company, spent a month on the phone about 2 hours each time, and I couldn't get anything resolved. The manager Tamara told me that Antoinette will be taking care of my file while she was going to be in vacations and that request was going to be a smooth transition. When I spoke to Antoinette she provided the most horrible customer service experienceI ever encountered in my life, and she didn't do anything for me. As I was promised by Tamara that things will get resolved. And guess what? They didn't. They just got worse! Avoid taking to Antoinette Tamara, Ali, they will just lie to you flat out!
Trying to get to speak to a human to get information not available on line. Costomer servie has no direct link to cusomer service person, sends a text whereby you can ask for a call back. Asked 24 times by text each time told too busy and/or redirected... unbelievable
Koodo had the worse customer service, if you are new comer in Canada, you better choose another phone company, it's been 2 days I make an appointment for call schedule but nobody answered, it send me message about heads up phone but I waited hours and still no answer

RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
