Absolutely garbage customer service. My home internet plan was supposed to be activated on the 5th of January, status remained as processing until the 8th of January, never received my equipment, it was sent to my old address where I can't even receive the notice of attempted delivery. I asked if they could change the shipping address before the equipment got shipped out, literally days ago, and customer service acted like they barely had half of a brain cell and refused to help. Called back today to try to get more clarification on the situation because I received zero communication from them about why my activation date was three days late or why they were unable to change the shipping address to match the service address, and the woman on the phone began arguing with me. She was so rude and cutting me off when I tried to explain things to her that I hung up while she was still yammering on at me.
So, not only do I have to track down my package myself on the other side of the city to return it, I immediately cancelled my subscription and paid a month of internet for nothing. I will be paying off my cell phone tab balance and cancelling ALL of my services with this company despite a decade of being with them.
Get better people, your service is trash.
I recently vacationed in U S. I specifically turned my koodos phone to airplane mode while we were there, however upon my return home I receive a bill for $36 for three mins. Of
roaming charges. Apparently I turned my phone off airplane mode to try hooking up to a wifi as we were lost. No I did not turn my phone roaming on I just took it off off airplane mode. I spoke to koodo representative that offered to take $2 off. It's going to be a long two year plan but u can bet I will NEVER go to koodos again. Lots better companies than koodos out there. Customer service is terrible. One very unsatisfied customer.
Trying to call them, you have to start online. I cannot get a real person to unlock a phone and they never called me back. These companies think they don't need employees, they don't have to worry, they won't have customers.
Paid final bill and tab bonus in full and switched to another company only to get a $40 bill two months later for "paying my tab bonus to quickly" they failed to notify me of this charge when I canceled the account I was very clear about wanting to square up. Of course I HAVE to pay this ridiculous fee or I will be sent to collections.
Unless you owe them money good luck talking to a human being and even than its like pulling hair. Before finally deciding its not worth the headache I spent several hours and multiple phone calls talking to these idiots. They don't communicate with each other. On my last call I spent an hour listening to elevator music only to find out she transferred me to TELUS and subsequently the guy that picked up couldn't help me at all.
Never accept an offer from koodo. I tried it out and they could never get my number.
I cancelled many times. They kept sending me a bill.
Now they want me to pay for 6 months of service that I never got.
It has been referred to Metcredit. A collections company.
They phone me numerous times daily.
Threats as well.
Just avoid Koodo.
Has the worst data service. My phone never has internet. I pay for data and I do not get it. Do not waste your time with these guys go to ROGERS! You're guaranteed to have data. Koodo is getting worse not better
Everybody give their credit card details to avoid hassles regarding payment. My credit card expired and everyone I had business send me a email to update my info. But Koodo won't do that, they just jump to report a credit deterioration! I was applying for mortagage and gave me a head ache. So be careful... they are pitiless!
I have worst experience from koodo customer care.
I scheduled call back for today 3 pm. At 6 pm still am waiting for call. And no other way to contact koodo for any urgent help needed. Other providers have toll free number and that's good, I regret to have koodo my provider. I never suggest any for koodo in future.worst service.
Data didnt work for first 8 days. Wouldnt adjust bill. You cant talk to someone right away if you have a problem. Could take up to 2-3 days to get a call back from them when you are having issues. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. Try Cityfone or Virgin if you want good customer service.
I brought my phone back under the 15 day return policy. Asked if I owed anything and the koodo employee told me they couldn't tell me if I did and to call customer service. So I called customer service and asked if I owed anything. They said it was too soon go be able to tell and that they would call me to notify me if I had any outstanding balance. They had my email, phone number and address and I heard nothing from them. All the while koodo is charging me for an account I no longer have and directly giving Equifax a 2 non payment from me lowering my credit score 72 points. The only reason I found out was because I'm registered with credit karma and they informed me. Then they give me a hard time sending a form into Equifax explaining the situation. Im astonished that if a company thinks you owe them money, they don't send you a bill or notification of any kind? I worked really hard on my credit score koodo. You'll never have mine or my family's business again.
I am in us on the roaming plan no service and of you want theM to assist you they have a call back too you. Well if you phone gets no service they will not call any other number but a Koodo number
If you have no service your screwed trying to get a hold of them.
I am a new customer. It is total waste of my time. I will have to cancel the contract. They have no shame to manipulate the costumers. They refuse to give my a copy of signed contract. You do not need this kind of nightmare.
As others have stated, Koodo has TERRIBLE customer service, or technically speaking, they don't have customer service AT ALL! They have a promo on right now for new activations and I wanted to speak to customer service to see if they would give it to us (existing clients). There is absolutely NO way to reach a person! Chat says that you can request a call back but when you try, it just keeps asking for more info and saying they are too busy. So... we are switching to another provider and they've lost our business! If you are thinking of signing up with them, DON'T!
I over paid them $75 dollars and since March they promised me to issue a check for me,I called them five different times and everytime they lie to me and telling me they have sent me my money,I haven't recieved anything from them except lies,I am a senior citizen, living on fixed income,is this the way to do business with people?I won't recommend them to my enemies,I am so sorry I felt with them,very sorry
I was charged for toll free number I was doing my training. When I asked they refused to give my money back. They have horrible customer service. I don't recommend anybody go with Koodo. Telus or rogers is best
I called koodo and apply for 2 connections 39.99 $ each. Koodo told me I will receive sim card by mail and I will be billed after I activated the sim.
Still I didn't receive the sim and not yet started using koodo service but I received a bill of 92$. Just 7days after calling koodo. For what. Never activated the sim. And just 7 days after calling koodo they have billed me 92$ for. Nothing.
I am sharing such horrible experience that occurred even before services started. I will complain to government and advice every one never even think of CALLING. Koodo. As you will get a bill.

They call me 2 days after I left Koodo wanting me back. They offer me a great deal and before I signed up I asked what my final bill was from when I left a few days ago. She tells me that there is nothing owing and I have a credit of $20 and I also ask of there is a tab balance and she replies no you have a credit of $20. Fast forward 1 weeks I get a bill for $404. Ever since mid January I have been fighting with Koodo.
They put data on my plan. Billed every month for it. Said they couldn't t remove it. Said once data on phone it s there forever. They removed it after SIX months... but can t get money refunded on bill. Had to change carriers. They still billed me after that... then they sent it to met credit. 125 on my bad credit report. Nasty nasty firm... should not be allowed license. Have letter ready to send to Ottawa. No one should have to deal with them. Phone calls aren't t returned. Nothing good about koodo. Shame on them... shame on the licensing commission for allowing them to take advantage of people. Very wrong.
Incompetent, inept and totally devoid of anything that resembles customer service. No direct line for assistance ~ forced to use a digital callback system that is a revolving circus of inane, unreliable parrots. Be prepared to sit on endless HOLD, or endure dropped callbacks. This is a TELUS subsidiary that should be put out of its misery, or sold off as a third rate imitator of a dependable mobile carrier.
I was asked to go to Shoppers World KODOS store regarding a missed communication and language Barrier with a Senior person...
I was explain to the store manager about the situation, this particular Senior don't speak much English and due to a Battery issues from older phone, this senior was kinda forced to purchase a new phone and a new plan... They have charged connection fees from the same account.
I was discussing the situation and soon I mentioned that I would like to call head office.
The moment I called the Head office,, store manager called security on me!.
Please please please do purchase KODOS plans. Store manager is crazy dude who has no respect for you or the business it self.

Answer: After 5 years of loyalty and many After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
