I returned my book on time & they are trying to say they didn't receive the correct one. They are trying to say I returned a book that I have never even owned. So now I have to pay the full price for a book that I KNOW they have. & they say there is absolutely nothing that they can do to confirm that they received the book. I will never order from here again.
I paid for $34 for 2 day shipping between my two orders and did not get the books within the 2 days, when I call the customer service was horrible and no accountability. I then receive an email AFTER I call to inform me my orders are delayed. First and last time I attempt to order books from knetbooks again.
I ordered my book a week and a half ago and still have not received it. I paid for quicker shipping so I could get my book faster. I have sent them TWO emails for help on finding out where my book is and NO RESPONSE. I called a number that I had to search high and low for only ti be told that the number is no longer in service. They have already charged my card, but I have no book and no way of contacting them or knowing where my book is. Very disappointed and will never is this company again and I will tell anyone and everyone looking for books to never use them either. Horrible company.
They told me it would ship within a day. Four days letter I decided to finally reach out and customer service told me the book was out of stick and they were on backorder. They never told me this info until I asked. Otherwise they weren't going to tell me and I was going to be stuck without my book for class. Then customer service was not helpful and rude. And then I still ended up having to pay the service charge even though it was their fault. If I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible experience.
I found the Knetbooks website super easy to use. I was looking for 5 different text books and found them all with no problem by typing in the ISBN number. I immediately got an e-mail with an order confirmation and within a day I got e-mails notifying me that my books had shipped and giving tracking information. The packages were easy to track and arrived within a week and the books were in good condition. I couldn't believe the difference in price between renting and purchasing used books. I will never buy books again. I look forward to the return process being just as easy as the ordering process.
I rented books for the spring semester not wanting to buy something I couldn't use later and when I found that two of my three books I wanted to keep, I had the option to buy and just return the one other book I rented! I have used them once more for the summer semester and plan to use them again in the fall and even introduce my son and his girlfriend to the site when they reach college for all their book needs! I ordered a textbook 2.5 weeks ago. At the 2 week mark, when I hadn't heard anything, I emailed customer service to see what was going on. 3 days later, I was told they weren't able to source the book. I'm sorry, what? Why are you renting/selling books you don't even have? And then not informing your customers, who are waiting on their books to come in the mail, that you can't find it? Now here I am having to scramble to find a textbook for my class that starts next week. I doubt I'll get a new order in in time, so now this whole debaucle is going to affect my grade.
This my first time renting books for school and I must say so far the process has been painless. You know what else is painless, the rental price! If the return process turns out to be as easy as the renting process I will be renting every semester. #PainlessProcess

I was looking for a book, and anywhere I looked the book was super expensive or would fit any requirements that I would have hoped for. I came across Knetbooks and was relieved, it was an affordable price for a good quality book. And if could even highlight certain things or make notes to myself, as long as they weren't too expensive. I was relieved to find this website so I ordered the book as a rental. When I got my book in the mail I was concerned with something that was on the wrapping, and even thought it was difficult to find a way to try to get in contact with this company, when I did a representative emailed me back and was very kind and answered all of my questions.

I ordered from knetbooks since it was the cheapest option to rent one of my books for class and everything worked smoothly and easily. I recieved it shortly after ordering and it was in great condition.
I was charged the entire price of a book that was returned "late" but it wasn't late. I dropped it off at USPS thinking that was what the label said since it was my first rental and they routed it to UPS for me. However, the company didn't know about it until it was late. I told them about the mistake and instead of correcting it since it wasn't late, they told me they were going to refund just 50% of the book price! It wasn't late! I have the confirmation to show that it was out of my hands on the date agreed. Don't use this company!

I rented a book for nursing and it was new. No writing, no highlighting, great condition.
I cancelled the order but changed my mind and I emailed customer service and the response was same day. Someone responded right away.
I ordered this book for my son on 23rd August. It's still showing as "processing" and no book and I can't speak to a person. I got an automated response that said to check my update, which as I said is still showing as processing. My credit card has been charged for the book. Please help!
Answer: Infinity, because you will never receive it. And if you do receive it, it comes damaged and then when you try to return your rental that try saying the original damage is your fault and charge you a ridiculous price for a small damage that had already come with it. Or sometimes several pages are missing.
Answer: Hi Tatum, We do allow some highlighting in our rentals but we ask that you dont highlight excessively. If you return the rental back to us with over one-third of the text highlighted, we may have to mark the book as damaged. Highlighting can be distracting for future renters and we may not be able to add an overly-highlighted book back into our inventory. Consider using page flags to mark an important sentence. Flags can help you easily get back to the page you need. Page flags are also small enough that they can be used multiple times on the same page. Plus, they are really easy to remove from the textbook before you send it back at the end of the semester. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
