I paid extra money for it to be shipped to me early and it arrived a week after it was supposed to. Sent an email about it, but did not receive even an email back. Do yourself a favor and buy from Chegg.
I never received the product. I will never use this company again
I ordered three books from Knetbooks... several days after the scheduled delivery date, I have not received any of them. I asked to cancel the order but they said since the books were shipped I can't cancel... but I can return the books for a refund. This is somewhat difficult to do since I never got the books in the first place.
Never emailed me my conformation or tracking number. Never got the textbook yet claim I have it. I rent all my textbooks with no problem. However, this company is a scam. I did a chat conversation with a lady named Sarah, she was an incompetent person who ended the chat suddenly. I then opened another chat hoping to resolve this problem because clearly Sarah was of no help. So then I spoke with a man named Anothy who also left the chat after I said that there are ways people can send false tracking numbers and make it look like something shipped when in reality nothing did. Also, said that if UPS said I never got anything what would I need to do and he wasn't able to answer and I asked him like 3 times. Again, this is a scam of a company. DO NOT bother with them. Use other websites, so far this is the only website that I have had a problem with.
My book arrived damaged in the mail. Pieces of the binding were scattered all over the box. I didn't mind too much at first but the more I use the book the more it keeps falling apart because the binding was already broken when received.
It seems like my experience is shared by many others, this company charges an outrageous amount for late returns. This was my first time using this rental company, I should of stayed with my regular "go to" rental companies Ecampus, and Valore. I will, never, ever used them again. Please stay away from them. I admit that I returned the book 3 days later than the due date, but I was charged $250 for a book that costs between $80-$120 new. The customer service rep. Told me they will only refund 50% of the charges. This company is receiving from me a total of $200 for a book that I don't even get to keep. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I read their service agreement which does not state what the late fee will be. Be aware that the fee they charge will be more than 50% of the actual book cost, plus whatever you already paid for the rental.
Good morning Jazmin,
I am sorry to hear that you were charged for the late return of your rental. I have sent a message to the gmail.com account on file detailing some solutions to this issue.
Best Wishes,
Kate
Easy, convenient and accessible. I don't have much more than this to say or express. I prefer hard copy but the way they are funneling students, in my personal experience, is towards digital. Ok, but why try and charge so much for what is a fraction of the effort to create. If digital is easier to produce, shouldn't that translate to cost as well? So I look for relatively low cost materials, and I found this title at knetbooks for a reasonable fee. Choice of function.
I was able to rent my book with no delay and it's brand new.
Site said it was the book and launchpad but only received hard copy of book. The main reason I bought it was because it came with the launchpad access that was required for my class. Now I have to spend extra money to get a product I never received.
Sent duplicate title of textbook and no workbook.
Now workbook is out of stock.
Paid extra for fast shipping and now have to scramble to find workbook somewhere else plus the hassle of returning duplicate text. Don't recommend and won't use again.
It was very easy to find the book I needed and place the order; the book was delivered four days later. The only thing I did not see was when it is time soon to return the book how do I send it back?
If I could rate them 0 stars I would. In fact I would rate them negative. I called 4 days before my book was due and requested an extension. The rep on the phone said that was fine, it was $20 and some change and took my card number and said everything was good to go. 5 days after my rental was originally due, I receive a charge for over $300. When called to ask they stated they did not have record of me calling before it was due and that if it was returned within 15 days they could refund me only $150 of the $300. They did absolutely nothing to try to make things right. I will NEVER use this poor excuse for a company. This is by far the worst textbook rental company I have ever used and I have used many.
Hi Lindsey,
Can you please DM us your order number? I'd be happy to take a further look into this. We're very sorry your experience has resulted in negative feelings and we want to work to resolve the issue.
Thank you,
Kate
Had challenges with the shopping cart and getting things moving. Once things were moving it was great. UPS screwed me up for a day and I had no book for the first of one of my classes, but other than that it was great.
HORRIBLE COMPANY. I ordered a book and paid for upgraded shipping to ensure i would have it for class. The book is scheduled to arrive a week after the guaranteed delivery date. Customer service could have cared less about my issue and were rude and unhelpful. First time ordering from this company I'll stick with using Chegg or just pay full price to avoid this company.
Quick and easy to find and order your books with no hassle. Love the different shipping options for quick shipping, esp for those classes that don't post the required text with enough time to get it before classes start.

This site is very easy to use. They say they have the book in stock, so I will really be happy if I actually receive it.
They said they would notify me when the book was shipped, which they did not. I had to contact them to find out if the book was coming. They admitted they never had it in stock, even though they were still advertising it. Then when the refund finally came, it was a dollar less than I had paid. Since this wasn't a restocking fee and I'm not the one who caused the problem, why was a dollar deducted from my refund. Very dissatisfied! I do not recommend them even though their website is easy to navigate.

I rented two books from Knetbook on July 30th and received an email confirmation. I even looked at my bank and the 190.00 came out of my bank. On July 31st I get an email notification that my order has been cancelled. I emailed them twice with still no response. There is no phone number to contact anyone! Do not use this company.
If you return them a week late they will charge you more than what you rent them for. This website is a scam and it cheats you out of your money. This is the first and last time I order from this website.
I was looking for some additional study material for my second semester in the nursing program. This website had the books that I was looking for, the rentals were cheaper than any other book rental available.
I have used knetbooks for 3 semesters now and I would not use anyone else! Each time, their selection is great and prices below competition! I pay for expedited shipping ($5) and have my books within the week. A++!
Thank you for your positive feedback! Please send me your order number so I can send you a thank you for your positive feedback!

Answer: Infinity, because you will never receive it. And if you do receive it, it comes damaged and then when you try to return your rental that try saying the original damage is your fault and charge you a ridiculous price for a small damage that had already come with it. Or sometimes several pages are missing.
Answer: Hi Tatum, We do allow some highlighting in our rentals but we ask that you dont highlight excessively. If you return the rental back to us with over one-third of the text highlighted, we may have to mark the book as damaged. Highlighting can be distracting for future renters and we may not be able to add an overly-highlighted book back into our inventory. Consider using page flags to mark an important sentence. Flags can help you easily get back to the page you need. Page flags are also small enough that they can be used multiple times on the same page. Plus, they are really easy to remove from the textbook before you send it back at the end of the semester. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
