As the pandemic was beginning to intensify in India, the US state department called for immediate departure. To make things worse, I made the massive mistake of booking my travel home with Kiwi.com. I found myself standing at the ticket counter in Bangaluru with a booking confirmation, but no ticket. Kiwi.com never purchased my tickets home.
I then had to purchase another ticket, obviously not using Kiwi, for an incredible amount of money and then I had to convince the military to let me out of the airport and find a hotel during lockdown. I found a wonderful woman who opened up her entire hotel just for me and had to spend 4 days hoping international flights would remain open. Regardless to say, this was an incredibly expensive ordeal and one of the most stressful weeks of my life.
All because I booked with Kiwi. I have been trying to get a refund for months and haven't received any messages from their customer service. I would not recommend Kiwi.com to anyone and would even entreat you not to book with them.

Absolutely would not recommend this company. They put connecting flights via India which I required a visa for except provided minimal information around this. I accept some of the responsibility but why are they putting a connecting flight via a country I require a visa for? The purpose of using sites like Kiwi.com is to save money and reduce the effort of searching for the most expedient method of getting to one's destination. It therefore defeats the purpose to plan my journey through a country that I require a visa (minimum £40) and to take a day off my work to visit the Indian embassy. The clerk in Dubai that informed me I wouldn't be able to board my flight took one look at the ticket and said "Every day we have someone like this from Kiwi.com. They just put the cheapest flights together and let the passengers deal with the mess they create". I'm evidently not alone in being massively out of pocket, after paying for a new flight to Bangkok and connecting flights to Krabi, thanks to the useless service Kiwi.com provided as soon as they had my money. Definitely avoid.
In the 2nd of July 2020 when I arrived in the airport in Pucallpa Peru to take my fly Pucallpa - Lima the airport was close and no any information from Kiwi for cancelation. Still waiting refund 7 months...
Bought a ticket with kiwi for iberojet company. According to iberojet i have the option to change the date but it has to be done through the broker (kiwi.com) which is the normal practise. The problem is kiwi doesn't want to contact the airline and manage the change because ACORDING TO THEIR POLICY THEY DON'T DO THAT. So even if you have that option kiwi won't do it and they try to sell you a new ticket. Extremely abusive. BE CAREFUL BUYING AT KIWI.COM!
THIS 3RD PARTY SITE IS A TOTAL SCAM! I ADDED AND PAID FOR EXTRA LUGGAGE WORTH AED 572.78 VIA KIWI FOR A CEBU PACIFIC FLIGHT HOWEVER THEY CHARGED ME AED 696.60, AFTER A FEW HOURS, THEY REJECTED THE PAYMENT AND DECIDED TO REFUND ME AED 572.78 (SO WHERE'S THE AED 123.82?) JULY 16 I PAID VIA CREDIT CARD AND UP TILL NOW AUGUST 29, THE REFUND IS NOT PROCESSED! CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF VIA THE KIWI APP ARE RUDE, USELESS, AND NO HELP WHATSOEVER! I HAVE SENT THEM BANK STATEMENTS AND THEY KEPT TELLING ME IT WAS REFUNDED WITH NO PROOF JUST AN INVOICE THEY GENERATED THAT IT WAS REFUNDED THE NEXT DAY. I am writing this letter to express my disappointment with the company, I bought a trip from Uruguay to Australia, which it's a quite expensive ticket, and got my flights modified twice by AeroMexico. Kiwi support assured me that the only way to keep my flight was by keeping the current booked flight, adding more money to buy again the connection that failed. I did this once, and in the second time opted for a different solution as the company already failed me twice. I ended up adding 580 euros just to be sure I wont miss my connections with another company. Today I called Aeromexico myself to discuss the change and any form of refund, just to end up discovering, that Aeromexico did find a way for me to keep my flight and date, that was never communicated to me by Kiwi, as the only motive behind this lack of communication I can think of is making me pay a further expensier ticket just as a scam. I do expect a partial refund or monetary compensation, I do not want to lose more time nor energy in this issue, but rest assured I will if I do not have a valid response from the company, as this clearly is a scam scheme.
Total scam, changed my flight two times and had to pay extra. Paid for bags through kiwi and still had to pay at airport. Didn't give me a full refund when my flight was cancelled.
Norwegian Air has posted a refund of 53 English Pounds to Kiwi to cover the error of overcharging for baggage checking online. KIWI REFUSES TO REFUND ME MY MONEY. REFUSES! THIS IS STEALING. STAY AWAY!
My flight was cancelled and I've been waiting a year for my money back. The deadline for reimbursement was 3 months... I have no more answers from the company and no number to contact them.

I booked through this agency because it showed up on Skycanner and the times and price worked best for me- ended up paying over 900 for a ticket from CO to NY- a few weeks later they informed me that one of the connections was impossible, so I had to pay at least $300 more to change the flight, and all of the new options had horrible trip-ruining times and super long layovers (7-13 hours). I had the option to request a refund, which I clicked on- I ended up only being refunded 129 EUROS (I'm in the US so not sure why it was this currency), 50 of which would be put as "Kiwi credit". I had to call it a loss and ended up just buying another ticket through United Airlines and it was $700- all the prices on Kiwi are way marked up for the same flights. It was such a mess and it stressed me out so much because this was a really important trip- such a jumbled mess, NEVER use them. Always just book directly through the carrier, I learned a hard lesson there!

Although the airline has refunded the money to KIWI they don't pay it to their customers. In my case, it has been 8 months that they say: Be patient! The airline did not pay back the money yet.

Never book with this company. They took my 800 pounds, then declined my booking the morning of my flight. They said it may take 10 days to refund my money. So I ended up with no flight and no money.
Kiwi.com it's the worst place to purchase tickets. They will not refund your money regardless of time or situation. They have the balls to refund you $10 out of your $500 spend and literally are stealing hard earned money. THE WORST OF THE WORST. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM BECAUSE THE EXPERIENCE WILL BE THE SAME.
I bought a ticket with kiwi and I got another date on the ticket, I try to call de cs number, with no luck, I wrote an email asking them to change the date (it was not my mistake) and they only said "we regret to hear about this" but they dont refund my money, they are only offering 10 EUR but I paid $92
I bought a return ticket from Penang to Banda Aceh. The return flight was scheduled for September 11th, 2023. To our shock and dismay, the return flight was cancelled without notice. This incident has forced us to buy a returning ticket at an unforeseen additional cost. A request for a refund was submitted on the same day. There was no action until January 2024. I was given the option to select refund to the original account that I used to purchase the ticket or select Kiwi credit. As a person with a sound state of mind, I definitely selected a refund to my account (monetary form). However, Kiwi.com manipulatively sent a notification that I had selected a refund to my Kiwi credit, which I did not and will never do due to my bad experience with them. When I send messages for the refund to be made in monetary form, the support staff keep repeating that I have selected credit AND REFUSED TO REFUND ME IN MONETARY FORM!
I urged people to stop using Kiwi.com as they are totally SCAMMERS!

I was looking for an emergency flight from Stanstead to Shannon after missing a flight in Stanstead. I searched up other flights available and kiwi had one showing. I went to their website chose direct flights that would get me in that night. A quick search later and up popped one showing it was leaving at 10pm and arriving at 11.30pm, all sounded good. So I booked it.Only to find it was not a direct flight but that it was a flight from Stanstead that night to Edinburgh then a 23 hour stopover before I flew to Shannon the next day!
I immediately called them and tried to explain that they had not provided what I asked for and could I cancel the ticket (I was prepared to pay a small fee of course) I was told in no uncertain terms that they would not cancel or refund the sale as it was outside of the 48 hour cancellation policy, I explained that the flight they had sold me was less than 3 hours away to no avail. I even tried to convince them that I must have some
Sort of cool down period ( I called them 5 or 6 minutes after the sale) or consumer rights protection. I was met with indignation and stubborn refusal.
Do yourself a favour, never ever use these guys, customer service is hidden away and the call centre operatives are script following robots that have no clue.

I had my flight with British airways from SFO San Francisco To London Heathrow. There SECRET CITY DISCOUNT will get you no where because once you go to counter to check in the, the carrier will not give you boarding pass unless you will give them proof that you won't leave the airport in London. Instead you will complete the journey to Portugal, Spain or another European destination.
In nutshell if you have SECRET CITY in your booking you are going no where. You are fu*#%d at the airport. I missed my flight and had to rebook the entire ticket will another airline. And forgot about the REDUND BUDDY that money is gone. They will see 3 months but you won't see that money again
I have travelled 500 times, this is the WORST experience I have ever had. They canceled my ticket and asked me to pay an equal amount to book for me an alternative fleight, I had to pay because the journey was all booked for, then they took the ticket price which is TWICE now and never sent me my ticket for several days despite several long international calls for no avail. Now I am flying in 10 hours and still haven't received the ticket I paid for twice. AVOID
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection.
