KIWI.COM IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. They completely rip you off and are a huge scam. My flights were all cancelled due to COVID-19 and they not only offered no help, but had the audacity to try to charge for an "assisted refund" when a refund/site credit was guaranteed from the airline itself. I cannot believe this company and its heartlessness. There are hundreds of users who are out thousands of dollars from using this absolutely ridiculous company. Save yourself some trouble and book off the airline itself or some more reputable site. THIS SITE CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
I called to for assistance regarding canceling my booking due to my husband being restricted to travel due to Covid -19. The $1100 flight would not be compensated as credit. Instead, their policy for immediate refund is a return of 15 Euros or pay a fee of approximately 26 Euros, then pending what they receive, you may be refunded a partial amount. In turn, no guarantee.
Many companies value their customers and realize during this dire time people were booking flight to get their loved ones home. Most airlines and booking companies provide credit. After OVER two hour wait on the phone. The customer service rep. Had the audacity to state a personal attack. I was only on the phone for less than 5 min of assistance and she said,"You are not the only one, you are one person". "Think of other people that are in the queue and need help." Her statement not only belittled me, but was so subjective and ignorant in her personal attack. She has no idea of my desperation to get back a family member, like many others. That personal information was not even revealed, as that is irrelevant, at this point, many individuals are in the same situation.
They do not value you as a customer. HORRIBLE experience.
I booked the flight with Kiwi from Tirana to Rome and first of all my outbound flight's schedule was changed two times with 6 hours of difference. And than while I was at the airport for my check in, I received the information that my flight from Rome to Tirana was cancelled. I talked with Kiwi Customer Support and they assured me that in two days time they would put me on another flight. After 2 days and a half, and still not receiving anything, I called Kiwi and they said that this is not their responsibility, the customer support was horrible, rude even, and said that i had to pay for another flight, and that they were not responsible of the flight changes at all. They said I can ask for a refund, and within a month they would refund the cancelled flight. It has been over three months now, customer support is horrible, very rude, and they still say - we are waiting on the company, there is no refund! DON'T BOOK WITH KIWI! ITS A SCAM AND THEY ARE THIEVES.

I am extremely unhappy with my Kiwi experience. 3 days before my flight, I received an email that part of my trip had been cancelled. Mind you, this was a 32-hour trip taking me from Thailand to Ohio.
This part might be on me, but only slightly, as I did not see the email within the ridiculously low 24-hour window they allow for free rebooking. This cancellation caused me to miss a connection in San Francisco, forcing me to buy a whole extra ticket costing $600, on top of the original $700 I had paid.
I even bought the insurance, "Travel Basic." One might assume that such an instance would be covered by this insurance, because why wouldn't it be? Well, if you haven't figured it out yet... this was not covered. Apparently this total scam of a "Trip Cancellation" insurance only covers cancellations caused by medical emergencies.
Another cost was incurred due to this websites incompetence, as I had to call and spend close to 1-hour arguing with 2 different departments trying to make the situation right. Since my cancellation left me stranded in the Philippines without cell service, my only option was to use the hotel phone and pay their long distance charges.
At the end of the day, I bought a ticket to get me from point A to point B, and the company let me down and left me stranded in a foreign country. I will never use Kiwi again and will do my part to make sure none of my friends or family are burned by this website in the future.
Terrible booking services. They didn't want to give me a refund nor help me change my return flight. I booked my flight within 24 hours of my call to customer service. Stay away.
SCAM! STAY AWAY!
They sell you good priced and timed flights that DON'T EXIST. The next day or so they inform you that "airline has changed your flight". This change is conveniently for them under 24h. But it is over 23h. So instead of 9h flight total with 4h layover, my flight had a "minor change" to 32+h with 27+h layover. Of course they refuse to refund, they don't offer ANY alternatives, they are so kind and offer 10eur credit on your Kiwi account for canceling. FRAUD. I wish I had read thousands of similar reviews before. But going through Skyscanner it seemed legit.
I booked with volaris through KIWI
I booked with volaris through KIWI. KIWI never notified me that my flight changed times (a difference of 7hours) this totally threw off the time and plans to get back home. I spoke multiple times, and the first time the rep hung the phone. Later after hours with them, they were unable to give me another option or to help me get in touch with the airline to change my flight to an earlier one. I am very disappointed with their service, horrible communication. After this incident, I mentioned it to other acquaintances and they all had some type of issues with KIWI. Never again booking through here. DO NOT RECCOMEND! Your time, planning and money come first and they simple lack responsibility and do not care about their costumers.

Since 8 months my flights have been cancelled by the airlines for a trip that I (unfortunately) booked via Kiwi.com. Since 8 months, I'm in contact with Kiwi.com. Trying to call them, sending them endless emails and endless messages on their live chat. Only ca. 2% of my calls even go through to their "customer service", the rest just bounces off. None of my emails and none of my inquiries on their live chats get answered. IF I get through on the phone, the "customer service" tells me to be patience and relax... It's been 8 months and I'm still waiting to hear back from the airlines or Kiwi.com. This company left me completely alone in this whole process and just showed me how unreliable they are as a business partner. They completely ignored my case from day 1. It just shows how much they really value their customers. It's one thing to grow as a company. But in moments like this, the character of a company really shows. And the face that Kiwi.com has shown in this pandemic is ugly and disgusting. I lost out on a lot of money because of Kiwi.com. Money, that people don't have during a pandemic. Kiwi.com should understand this and their customers. They shouldn't just ignore all their customers and hope that everyone accepts just losing money. Enough is enough, my patience has come to an end. This was definitely my very last booking with them. Truly dishonest and unprofessional company that takes profit out of other people's misery... Absolutely disgusting behaviour. The worst online third party travel booking service. DO NOT USE! They cancelled my mom and her husband's return flight from Mexico without an explanation and during the holidays. WE DID not initiate or ask for a cancellation or change in return flight. They provided rebooking alternatives from GDL to SJC that were 10hr, 14hr, or 18hr returns when we originally booked a direct flight that is a 3hrs flight. WOW! How insulting.It is already tough enough to travel with the covid and omicron restrictions and now this? Adding insult to injury the supposed refund for this unsolicited cancellation is not guaranteed.
Do yourself a favor and book directly with the airline! Better customer service and you won't get the run around to get your money or credits back.

I have booked a continuous flight from Chennai to Bahrain to Dubai Air Gulf airline through KIWI website they took 24H to confirm the ticket by sending me two tickets (separate reservation No.) in one pdf of the same root Chennai to Bahrain in one ticket and Bahrain to Dubai in another ticket with different reservation No.
At the airport refused to check in my flight because I do not have a Bahrain visa because it's a separate flight, not a continuous flight. I got in touch with air gulf customer service and they said there is no root as kiwi booked and they made it separate. Finally, this mistake by KIWI cost me the whole flight cost and they deny the mistake, kept manipulating, fobbing, and didn't refund or compensate for this ticket

Due to corona related travel bans, my flights from Dubai to Berlin - Berlin to Istanbul and Istanbul to Dubai are cancelled.
For some reason, they want to refund only the Berlin Istanbul (for less than what the airline Turkish Airline is refunding) and only in Kiwi credit (Turkish Airline is refunding in full on their credit card, this was confirmed by TA customer service).
Long story short never ever book through Kiwi, they are super disrespectful and the customer service guy was obnoxious and rude on the phone. Money and time lost. AND they are making money on their customer's backs during the crisis, that is disgusting, SHAME ON YOU Kiwi.com

I have booked the flight to go india and the travel date is 27th of July. Due to some emergency i have to go to india by 22th july. So I called kiwi.com customer care and they suggested to cancel the ticket and rebook again. So I did cancel my tickets before 8 days of my travel day. Until 27th july the flight is not canceled and exactly 27th i got message from airlines that the flight is cancelled.so they requested for flight cancelation on travel day. They just refund 50 euro where the ticket cost is near by 1000 euro. Earlier it was happened with emirates.com and they have proper option for reschedule and also cancelation and the cost also worth.

I would give 0 stars if I could this company is a SCAM. Do not use! I did a fare lock to save flights and when I went to pay the full amount within 72 hours the flights had sold out and the company are refusing to refund me the fare lock price despite the T&C saying they would if the flights sold out. Booked a flight to Lisbon with one stop on the way, but one month ahead I got a notice the second flight was cancelled with no reason, couldn't do anything about it and didn't get any refund.
Would not refund ticket even though it was COVID-related. Would not even provide credit instead of refund...Don't use kiwi.com, just go directly to the airlines' websites to book tickets...
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.
