I booked flights through this company for my mother, her flight path was London, Israel, Istanbul, and then Auckland.
On the receipt it showed that we had all of these tickets booked and read to go, but when she tried to check in for her connecting flight in Istanbul she found out that Kiwi.com had in fact not book her flight to NZ. She had no way of contacting us to let us know what had happened for the first evening she was there. During the days she was there turkey almost fell into a coup and services had been halted, Luckily she found some generous locals that allowed her to use their internet.
In the end it took me almost two days to get kiwi.com to book her the flight she had paid for, I obviously would have book a new flight asap but had no money. Like I said it took almost two days of phone calls, most of which I spent being passed around from one person to another, which seemed to me like they were just trying to ignore me until I gave up and went away.
Do not book your holiday with these guys.

I paid for 3 tickets and had to change my flights 12 days prior to departure due to an issue with a visa for one of the party, I expected that I would be able to amend the booking dates for a fee and pay any additional amounts due to price changes. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH KIWI.COM, I will lose the full payment include baggage and insurance pre-paid.
This is a bad company to do business with, they have extremely restrictive policies and I advise not to use them, you will be disappointed. I only wish I had read the reviews prior to booking with them.

I been trying to contact kiwi and get a manager to call me back o have no success, I need to reschedule a flight with a waver provided by the airline but because I bought my ticket with Kiwi I have to do it thru them it seems that I one is familiar with this situation or no one wants to help me and they are all giving me the round around method… please don't ever use Kiwi to buy or book your flight worse place ever…
Bought 2 flights with Latam airlines within Peru through Kiwi with 1 pre-paid checked bag for 2 people for each of our 2 trips. Each checked bag cost was $24USD so $48USD extra for each trip through Kiwi. Kiwi advertised checked bag fees as cheaper than through the airline at the airport. Upon checkin to the first flight we found out that Latam allows 1 free checked bag per person. We contacted Kiwi only to be put into endless email/phone loop for 2 weeks now. The plane tickets were cheaper through Kiwi, but checked bag fee was a lie - Kiwi charged us for something Latam gave away for free. Don't expect any customer care from Kiwi - you will never get anything resolved through them and we consider ourselves lucky that everything else was alright with the plane tickets. Will not use in Kiwi in the future.
I bought a ticket from them from A to B to A intending to buy B to A to B and now I think their website intentionally creates such situations because ANY change with them is impossible.
I ended up buying a second ticket and surprise!... this time the name and date of birth are wrong...
I triple checked before the payment click all was ok!
Kiwi customer service insisted on the phone to trust them and wait to hear from their "specialist team" but I still haven't heard back from them!
If I would have waited for Kiwi customer service my tickets would have been unusable!

I ended up making the name correction directly with the airline which has on the website adds saying things like:
Buying directly from us means avoiding hidden fees!
Buy from us to avoid nasty surprises!
Buy from us and benefit from transparent operations... etc
The airline company was most helpful though and I got the tickets with the correct name and date of birth!
The last email I've received from Kiwi contains a reservation AND tickets, but on different names!
Same flight, same place, 2 different names, which from their point of view should mean 2 different persons on the same place... does not bother them!
I will never buy from them again!

My carrier anticipated the return flight by 6 hours, destroying my last day of the trip, BUT the carrier offered Kiwi a refund writing to the email address the create for your booking (I know this because the airline confirmed it to me themselves, and other friends who booked the same flight directly with the airline got the refund).
Although Kiwi policy says that, in such a case, FOR ALL FARES they will offer you the chance to take the refund or accept the change, THEY NEVER GAVE ME this chance and refused to give my money back. They insisted in treating my request as voluntary cancellation. So do not trust in what is written on their website, they will just rob you.
Even a 1 star review is more than what they deserve. They promise they would provide flight or accommodation for any delay or interruption but that's not as simple as that.
I was waiting in the airport for more than 3 hrs for their response, but they didn't contact back. So, I forced to book the next available flight next night, and also booked hotel by myself.
When they called after 3 hrs 45 mins, they said as I have booked by myself, so their policy won't allow for ANY refund.
The customer care representative mentioned that they have policy for provide accommodation (more than 8 Hrs stay) and fare for new tickets, but when I say to refund the amount what is cheapest in that airport and whatever the cheapest flight tickets he denied.
The customer care representative (Bilal) not even agreed to pass the call to his manager. He mentioned it's their policy to not pass the call to manager. So weird!!
I would prefer to buy ticket by spending $50 more with better airlines (AA,United, Delta, SW..) than book with Kiwi (Kiwi/Frontier) where one such incidence cost me $305.
Its been almost a year since they cancelled my flight and I still wait for my refund, they already got the refund from the airline but not issued back to my credit card, a bunch of thieves...
I had a family emergency and couldn't continue the already schedule flight to Rome, so I asked for a refund, they didn't say anything just that, your flight is cancel and you'll receive 10.80 euros as a kiwi credit to be used in the future, they not only steal your money, they mock you saying such a thing, what am i going to do with freaking 10 euros? Scam artists, thieves, they are in the Check republic so they could sell americans stuff but can't be intervened by the authorities here in the US. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! 500 dollars and return 10 euros back. Bleeping Chec republic, they are all bandits..

NEVER BOOK WITH KIWI.COM They are the just terrible to deal with Our E tickets where not Valid to travel. After 45 mins on the phone to the customer support (JOKE) they hung up. After purchasing more tickets to fly on our holiday. Then to send alternate fights via email later on just a joke.
After contacting the support a further three times and all the auto response emails

I contacted Kiwi.com to change my first flight that I booked within 5 hours and after speaking to 2 different colleagues and being transferred to a manger. I was promised to receive a call back the next morning. I did receive the call back at 6:26 AM the next day and I have been on the phone for 6 hours now and my issue is still not resolved and I have spoken with managers, supervisors, various staffs. This is after I was promised that they can fix the issue! Kiwi should be ashamed with the customer service that it offers. I was told the supervisor is going to contact me in 2 min and then when I called back in an hour told that he went home! Really? This is how you take care of your customers? They are located outside the US, so connection is not good, and when there was a dropped call, the supervisor did not call back, I had to call back and track him down. Please advise on how you intend to resolve and fix your customer relations. This is my first time booking through your site and I will never be booking here again or recommending anyone to book through your site. It is inhumane and unethical to treat people like this.
Short version: Kiwi sold me a ticket from Los Angeles to Denpasar, Indonesia, with a stop and transfer plane in Tokyo, requiring a Visa to enter Japan to transfer planes – this is insane, but it gets worse. They sold it four days before my departure, but the Visa to Enter Japan with covid19 restrictions takes five days! There is no way to contact Kiwi; my bank is disputing with them, but this is also a dead end.
Kiwi is a neo fraud agency. They offer 'cheap prices' but you are more likely to waste it at the end of the day. Stay away, I lost 2,500 USD to their scamming tricks.

They charge me for a flight and never provided the confirmation number. No way to contact them. Credit card wouldn't refund because the ticket was under my name? Lost $1200 to this thieves.

Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.
