Very bad company. DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM THEM, because in case you need to cancel or change within grace period, they only refund you part of the ticket price, which is illegal and unethical. I called several times, their customer service never provide an explanation.
Never ever had one single issue. For people simply travelling light with no bags or fuzz, this is gold. Their algorithm is the key, even the Karen's leaving bad reviews have benefited from it.

Kiwi never sent me a confirmation code. Later received a flight cancellation notice less than 48 hours of departure. Called the airline sand they did not have a reservation on my name
Any International has refunds in 24hr of booking. They don't.
Customer service is not reachable.
Site says you can change but they are asking for a full price like a new ticket.
Kiwi refuses to refund over 500$ we paid with the excuse that three weeks before the flight they can give me 10$ of kiwi credit and nothing more

I have quite literally never written a review before but my experience with Kiwi has been so bad that I felt compelled to write this. My flight to New York from Gatwick was cancelled 30 minutes before we were due to fly - not kiwi's fault, so far, so good. I get booked onto another flight, however, this flight is in a completely different airport altogether, Heathrow 15 minutes later than the original. I call them and say it's ludicrous that I would be able to travel to a different airport nowhere near the original one in 45 minutes. I have to call them 6 times to finally get them to change the flight to another booking the next day. That night I decided to call the flight operator to make sure everything is all OK and they tell me there is no evidence of a ticket in my name. I call Kiwi who then tell me that it's "been marked as urgent" and they assure that I'll be able to fly the next day. I turn up to the airport and the airline tell me there are still no bookings associated with my flight path. The only reply from kiwi was to "please bee advised you can still buy a business class ticket for the flight". I will never use kiwi again or any other agency for that matter, they are wildly unhelpful and caused so much stress.
12hrs before my flight they chose to cancel the flight. Whenn I told them that I wanted a refund; I was told that bc it's less than 48hrs they could not issue a refund but I could choose to travel on another date. This was an international trip with vacation time in mind. Customer service was rude and disrespectful.
They steal your money and then say screw you! Just read their reviews. Unfortunately my daughter didn't before she spent money for her and 4 kids to go to a cheer competition in FL.

I just took a survey on one website about refunds from Kiwi and I am among more than 87% of almost 2000 customers who still have not received a proper refund.
Please do yourself a favour and never book any flights through Kiwi.com. After my friend and myself booked our tickets two months in advance with no visa requirements stated by Kiwi.com, we arrived at the airport just to be told that we cannot fly from Kuwait to Thailand connecting in India, as we do not have visas to connect to our next flight to Bangkok. We paid 428 KD for our tickets and were refunded a ridiculous amount of only 30 KD. There are no contact numbers available or anyone to assist us. They used the cheapest connecting flights in order to save themselves money and never stated on any of their requirements that additional visa applications for India would be needed. We ended up booking new flights from another airline company in order to get to Thailand, which you can imagine ended up costing us another large amount of money and time wasted. We were travelling for a wedding and ended up missing vital parts of our friend's special day. If anyone knows where I can report this company as fraudulent it will be greatly appreciated.
Take your booking and card details, then send you an email the following day saying the price of your flight has doubled... That's either gross incompetence, or deliberate scamming. Wasters.
Worst website ever, it's a scam be aware, booked some flights, airline cancelled connecting flight, contracted kiwi, who advised we can't offer a refund and we've cancelled the whole booking.

Do not use this company. They only allow check in at the airport if you book a flight through them and they overcharge for their checked luggage at time of booking. It was a complete mess.
Absolutely appalling. I booked a flight for the next day. I didn't receive any confirmation despite the money leaving my account immediately. I contacted them several times - all I got in response was automated (and completely useless) messages by phone, Facebook and Twitter.
Eventually, two hours before the scheduled departure, I managed to get through to someone on the phone. The girl on the phone was very helpful, but couldn't solve my situation. In the end, they gave me a refund and I had to book a flight with EasyJet, which at this point was £100 more expensive than it would have been had I booked it earlier.
Absolutely appalling experience. I had used kiwi in the past (pre pandemic) and didn't have any problems. AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I SHALL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN - BE AWARE
They are fraud and irresponsible. I did not get my refund still after 6 months. Stay away. They even asked 25 euros to apply for refund. What a nonsense.

Purchased tickets through them for an overseas flight. They confirmed the dates of travel but once I received the confirmation, the duration of the trip was wrong as well as the departure date. I immediately contacted them. They did not tell me about the US 24hr cancellation law. They just kept telling me there was nothing they can do to help me.
I find out it will cost more than the original tickets to make any changes. They then say the tickets are non-refundable. I wait on the phone for 2 hours to talk to a "supervisor" who tells me the exact same thing. There's nothing they're willing to do and it's not their problem.
Now I find out the flights were cancelled and no one from kiwi even bothered contacting me. No email, text, phone call. Nothing. The airline says the money has been returned to the travel agency, kiwi.com.
Well imagine that, now there's no way to contact them via phone or email. None of my confirmation codes work on their website.
I contacted the Better Business Bureau and the first thing that pops up is SCAM ALERT. The company is based out the Czech Republic and not in the USA.
I had to file a complaint with the FTC since they're based out of the country.
Don't use them even if you're life depends upon it. You'll end up without tickets, flight vouchers and money.
My flights got cancelled due to an airport strike. I never got back my refund. It's been a year and I'm still waiting. Do not use it unless you are prepared to lose your money.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
