The clothes may be beautiful but the online shopping experience is horrible. They hold your funds for a refund for 21 days which is unheard of and add on another 2 weeks and I still have not had the money issued back onto my credit card. I have never experienced this with any online retailers.
I have been a ROW girl and decided to dip my toes into the KHAITE brand. I bought a pair of Nevada boots ( 1800.00) out the door and when they are arrived the wrong size, ok that happenes and the customer service person was very nice and very quick to reply and they sent me out a new pair and a label to return the wrong size. The new boots came and once again the wrong size ( clearly marked with wrong size on the boot and the box) I then emailed right away to send these back and speak with customer service that was 6 days ago and I have had one reply form CS saying " we see your boots were delivered" what can we help you with? In my emails I clearly explained the issue along with all the threads from my previous messages so why didnt they even look at the thread? So I explain again and never hear back from anyone? Wow...is this how a luxury brand customer service operates? Ill go back to the row in the meantime hopefully someone will call me back about my boots...
Condescending and petty. Husband ordered a $2500 purse for my birthday which was absurd in its dimensions. Though the company quit selling the purse in that particular size, they refused to offer even a store credit. This, after taking a week to respond to urgent emails.
While I personally love Khaite as a brand, I would not recommend international shoppers to buy from their website. While they state custom fees are covered, they are not as DHL wanted additional fees for EU delivery. So I had my order returned without even getting it to learn that I will be charged additional fees of nearly USD 60 for DHL admin fees! Not only do these fees come as an unpleasant surprise for customers, but also processing of returns is increfibly slow at their end. It takes at least 3 weeks for a refund… Other stockists carrying their items are a lot more customer friendly and efficient. Never again will I order from their site.
Overpriced products from a company that is not transparent about its sustainable efforts (if it even has any). Chose to ignore some warnings about the brand on other reviews and I wish I hadn't. There are so many other brands on the market that cost less, are more transparent, do more with sustainability, and are honestly cuter. (Reformation, St. Agni, Alohas, or honestly even New Balance)
