I picked up an ugly 1dx and was pleasantly surprised. The camera was under $500, so I expected a very rough camera with hundreds of thousands of shots. Although it wasn't a concern since it was going to be a crash-cam. Everything changed when the camera I received only has 40k shots, which means it's barely broken in! I use a lot of 1dx bodies and am not bothered by the scratches. In fact, I think it has character! With that said, everything works perfectly, so I cannot relegate it to a crash-cam. It's still got too much life left! I definitely would buy it again.

I purchased a D5200 rated with excellent condition. And it was! The camera is in great shape; however, I was given a third party battery, and not a Nikon brand battery. This should have been noted in the condition description. The battery hardly holds a charge and holds close to 40% that of a Nikon branded camera. I'm now in the market for a Nikon brand camera for a camera and battery that was JUST purchased. So after spending more than $300, I need to find a seller, then purchase a new battery. I've shopped with KEH for a long time now, and I find this to be fairly disappointing. I would like to give this review a 3 star rating, but realize, it probably won't get any attention unless I rate it for 2-stars or less.

This was my second purchase from KEH. First time was fabulous, I got a great len that I am still using with so many freebies. This time was so disappointed. I received just len and the len mount is not clean. I ordered Nikkor 105mm in excellent grade. I was glad to check on it before putting on my camera. There were dust stuck on the len mount. I contacted the customer service, and returned it right away. The customer service did well. Although, their phone number did not work. So I had to contacted through chat box. I am very disappointed, but I still decided to replace with the Like New Grade with KEH. Hope it went well. This will be the last chance for KEH with me.

I wish KEH kept quality consistency. Their competitor has improved a lot in term of website appearance. But I chose them because of a great experience in the past.

I have worked with KEH for years. This time, we had a major problem. I placed an order, paid for it (bank confirmed) and, several days later, KEH "voided" the order, and kept the money. For several weeks, no one could tell me where it was. Then I found one of the items I'd ordered, re-listed, and, as it was rare, bought it again.
THen we deciphered that the order had been voided, though no one could explain why, The check was cashed BEFORE the order was voided!
Unscrambled now. But serious questions.

Love the feel of the camera, everything was packed in individual bags and padding.

Only problem I had was when I ordered the camera I was in my house in Ohio which I was leaving to go to my apartment in Nashville tn. It said it would come a week later which i wanted since i knew I'd be at the apartment. Nope was shipped the next day and was at the apartment the following day, no one to sign for it.
If I had know it would have come way earlier I'd have had it shipped the location was at when I ordered it.

I haven't played around with my EOS-R yet, so this review is more to do with customer service than the product (which I'm confident will be amazing -- it came packaged well and in great condition). When I finished checking out, I realized I didn't input my full address in. I contacted customer support and they were simply wonderful. They were able to find my package and correct the address so that there wouldn't be in hiccups in shipping. This wasn't my first purchase with KEH and it won't be my last either!

KEH Camera is an excellent place to buy high-quality used equipment while saving money. They have a knowledgeable resource staff to answer questions, and their return policy is fair and equitable. Many people, such as myself, are transitioning from film to digital photography, and the staff at KEH Camera has guided me through every purchase and return because I ignorantly purchased the wrong equipment. My advice to those consumers unsure about their camera needs is first to call KEH Camera and consult with an expert who readily offers suggestions in buying the appropriate equipment.
