I've been ordering from KEH for 12 years and have nothing but positive experiences from them. I've ordered cameras, lenses and gear and every time I've been extremely happy with them. I definitely recommend them!

Fast shipping and secure packaging. Prices are competitive. Wish coupon codes would work for all items and conditions. Another thing that would help is that free shipping should apply to Hawaii as well.

Just want everyone at KEH to know that you have all been wonderful every time I've purchased something from you. Just be aware that FedEx proved to be a complete nightmare when delivering my lens. Being a 600 mm zoom lens I knew it was a larger piece of equipment, and I wanted to be sure that it was delivered properly to my address. I received an email from them once it was shipped saying it would be at my address between 11 AM and 2 PM on the day of delivery. Since a signature was required I took the entire day off from work, and had a very important photography job lined up for the next day. I later received another email stating it would be delivered between 3 PM and 5 PM. I went out to do some errands and then surprisingly received yet another email stating they had tried to deliver the lens at 12:19 PM, two hours and 41 minutes prior to their estimated time of 3 to 5 PM. I called FedEx immediately and advised them to have the driver turn back so he could deliver the lens and I would sign for it. After seven phone calls spanning 2 PM through 9 PM, and after being promised it will be delivered to my house by 8 PM that same night, the lens never made an appearance. The next day I had to cancel a very important photography job which cost me not only money, but my reputation as a photographer. The lens was finally delivered to a FedEx drop off location where I had to pick it up myself. Again, KEH has been wonderful. FedEx is an absolutely awful delivery service.

Unit was purchased at a "bargain" rate, which was still excessive given, but was dirty and was pretty beat up (chipped paint, dented) and has a scratched mirror inside camera body as well as scratched up glass in the prism viewfinder. Not sure I would buy through KEH again unless it was in Like New condition. In future, I'd much rather purchase a camera in person, the old fashioned way.

90+% of my gear I have sourced through KEH. I have found their grading system very fair and often under graded. Their return policy is fair. No questions asked returns accepted within 21 days. Many of the complaints made about KEH expect them to pay for return shipping. I find that comical and not realistic. KEH has spent time with me on the phone answering questions and they also service what they sell. Their website is easy to use.

My order was promptly shipped by KEH only to languish in the shipping vendor's terminal. I paid of for a shipping delivery date only to have my package delivered late. WhenI did receive the package the packing was excellent the camera and lens wherein great condition. I had a problem understanding the operation, a call to customer service a great agent quickly aswered my question. Great job by KEH packing, shipping, excellent customer service. Can't say the same for Fedex.
