The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

I throughly enjoyed the webinar. The training looks easy and promising. I even stopped the video a few times just to make sure I would remember the details
Very impressed. If you think about the premise from the dog's point of view, it makes perfect sense. Dogs (especially Goldens) want to please their master and others. Giving them a job to do is perfect. What was helpful to me was to better understand what the word "job" really means. It can be very simple, like stay down. If they believe they should not get up until they are released, it becomes a job for them, which they like.
This all assumes, of course, that the dog recognizes the owner as the dominant member of the pack - which is where some people encounter problems.
I love the explanations behind the what you teach snd when Rosie is 12 weeks and my goal is to use her as a therapy dog someday. She is doing well with watch and touch. Distractions are distractions. But it takes time snd I have vowed not to get frustrated. The way to stop nipping at me has helped so much-I'm her favorite chew toy
A 4 year old rescue German Spitz with some character flaws and some bad experiences for which the advice given has been unexpectedly totally correct-and some!
From dropping hair to barking/answering the door and now a torn LCN (rear left knee ligament) and expected heavy veterinary costs on the way!
This advice has led us to seeking a physiotherapist (today) as it may not be as bad as we may think. Some weeks of physio will therefore shed a better light on the problem. An operation now/ or later following this physio, would give us time to teach Stevienicks with some of the finer points in training her more following this introductory program and to follow up with the full training course which would only improve her well being for now and for Stevienicks future.
I was glad to learn all I did to help with my new 14 year old Rescue Dog, Lizzie. Thank you for your free online training.
I'm just trying it but so far it's been good. Everything they're telling me makes a lot of sense. My older dog is watching and learning too
Appreciate all the helpful dog training hints. It does take time and commitment.
The training video gave me several clues on why my dog acts the way he does. I'm going to start using some of what I learned, and start saving up for the entire 10 week course!
I watched the training video on non verbal commands, found it logical and helpful. I am putting some tips into practice.
The first three aspects of dog training are very important, and the instructor was articulate and easy to follow. Thanks!
This is absolutely amazing if you need to train your dog and dont feel like sending your dog to train with a professional this institute is the great! I love the fact that because of this institue my dog not only knows verbal comands but he sees my hand gestures as well as my body language and understands what needs to be done. I recommend this if ever YOU want to train your dog yourself or with family.
Your suggestions on training have been really helpful but need more help with potty training
Robbi enjoys learning new skills which help to develop our bond and establish me as the leader. All the sessions are achievable and rewarding and Robbi is learning quickly. This is a great course because to gives me the strategies I need to work with a good dog who is well behaved when we are out on our walks.
My dog is a beautiful Coonhound that loves attention. On initial greeting she is very excited and jumps up on people. The online training provided by Dr. Díaz has started to work. My family is shocked! It's a work in progress but so far it's helped! Thank you
I completely enjoyed the presentation and found it informative.
The K9 training offers many great tips in training my dog that I did not know. I was doing it all wrong. After watching the introductory video, it gave me a much better understanding on how to begin to train my dog and get him to cooperate.
Final hope to not have to give up our dog. I hope this curriculum and these trainers can make it possible to keep our puppy instead of having to find him a different home.
With the few quick techniques that are shown in the free workshop, my dog Karma already behaves so much better on our walks!
I cannot wait to implement the whole program!
I appreciate the helpful training tips given in these emails! I am putting them into use
Very informative and useful information. Unless you're already a trained and well experienced dog person, these people can really help you out with training
