Customers frequently commend the thoroughness and attentiveness of the representatives, which alleviates anxiety during urgent situations. I have to say that I am shocked! What happed here is the biggest breach of confidentiality I ever heard of! Imagine this; serial killer is contacting justanswers.com. He is talking with lawyer. He is admitting all crimes and seeking help…and what lawyer from justanswers is doing? He is posting entire CONFIDENTIAL conversation on line and linking this to his name! For God sake! Are you people crazy? I am not serial killer but my confidential conversation with lawyer was posted on justanswers.com website for MONTHS. Anybody who typed my name in Google was able to see entire conversation!
When I made this discovery I used my camera and recorded this from different computers and browsers …
I am preparing lawsuit!

I have perused the site several times. I was horrified to see many, many, many responses by one so-called EXPERT --- Kate McCOY --- who constantly intervenes in this particular customer's therapy sessions. I understand that it is the customer who keeps asking Kate about her sessions but then Kate constantly answers instead of being professional and telling the customer --- look by you keeping on asking me questions you are splitting things and you will NEVER work things out in your therapy. She should have told the customer that she should be bringing ALL these matters up with her therapist. If she feels that her therapist can't handle things then she should refer the customer to a new therapist, not constantly meddle in the customer's therapy. Of course, Just Answer doesn't flag this as unethical and non-professional because, of course, when the customer pays Kate McCoy, then Just Answer gets half the fee. If I knew the state that Kate McCoy practices in I would report her to her State Board for unethical conduct. Be that as it may, Just Answer should not accept Ms. McCoy's non-professional behavior and should ban her from the site.

First you need to give your credit card, thinking that you will get legal advice. After they have it, then they state that you are not getting legal advice. I was unhappy with the worthless answer I received, but I am unable to ensure my credit card will not be charged anyway. This is a big scam!

I had a question about their FEES. I got nothing but a ROBOTIC RESPONSE. I read their "TERMS AND CONDITIONS" the phrase "double charge" comes up more than once... please read their fine print... RED FLAGS!
Sidenote: Plentyoffish.com as well as MANY other web sites directs you to go to this "HELP" (JustAnswer) and pay them $30.00. Because they can't answer /respond to a simple question you submit on line-----Because they have no "Customer Service" worth a can of beans.

Took my car to a dealership (Ford, Lincoln). They could not find the solution. Instead of taking the car to another dealership and spending more money I decided to ask an expert for advice on justanswer.com for $18. They say if you are not satisfied with the experts advice they will not charge you. They requested me to rate the experts advice. Guess what... I never received any advice from any expert. Insult to injury they charged me $18. Don't even get a glimmer of an idea to use this web site for expert advice, you will only get scammed just like I did.

I entered my $1 "deposit" through PayPal on 4/1/11 to ask a neurology question. The site says answers within minutes, maybe hours. Three days later I had no answer. I finally figured out how to ask for a refund, and on 4/10 was informed, "We will process your refund manually, usually within a day". It is now 4/18/11 and I have received no refund.

This website GUARANTEES that it will answer your question or refund the fee (in my case $48). The chat-room format of the website exposed me to an absolute idiot who called himself an expert. He stated, at the end of the chat, that he definitely could not answer my question but that I should contact the vendor. He did not spend the $48 and left it open for some totally different question should I be dumb enough to ask something else. So the $48 rmains unspent and available until I do! In effect, the GUARANTEE is a bet whether you can think of a question they can answer, not the reverse. Thus they have my $48 forever without really stealing it.

I have tried every possible avenue through this website to get an answer, a refund, or even a response to the numerous email and site link forms I have sent in. Your "deposit" is charged and taken from your account before you even get an answer. Every part of this site is useless except for the fact you will be pissed off about not being able to get your "deposit" refunded.

Major Rip Off
September 28, 2010

Major Rip Off. They charged for an answer but without your knowledge they sign you up for a subscription (whatever that is) and charge your credit card the same fee charged to answer your question every month until you catch it. Avoid at all cost. I paid $18 dollars for 3 months for a 'subsciption' and got nothing for it.

I asked a question
September 27, 2010

I asked a question. Expert replied with a question. I answered. I asked if I was going to get an answer five times over 24 hours. Never got and answer. They took £18 from my mastercard.

This website is nearly worthless. The site says that your satisfaction is guaranteed! This is a LIE. The site says that you do not have to pay for an answer if you are not 100% Satisfied. This is also a LIE. You are required to provide payment information before you can ask your question. The site states that your card will not be charged until you utilize the ACCEPT button, this is also a LIE. You can check out websites such as this one on www.RipOffReport.com there are a lot of people that have been ripped off from this website. I wish I would have googled the site reviews before I GOT SUCKED IN on it as well. I hope this helps at least 1 person save their hard earned money from these thieves.

I used justanswer.com for a veterinary question regarding my dog. She was having a sudden condition and I was quite concerned. I provided the symptoms online to a vet and got some thoughts that turned out to have nothing to do with her ailment. It cost me $18 and it was a complete waste of time. It is no substitute for consulting a real specialist -- laywer, doctor, vet. There aren't shortcuts in life and you get what you pay for. I will not be using this site again.

I was hijacked to this account when I was trying to access the tech support for my new computer. I didn't even know I had been hijacked... I thought my site was using them to do the tech support. I had to pay $18 to get the computer fixed for a day. It started messing up again, so I went back to the site. They charged me $36 this time and did not provide me with anything! I fixed the problem myself while waiting for them to pick up. The next thing I know, I have an $18 monthly charge to my bank account. They did refund my automatic charge after an "investigation". BE WARNED! You must agree to pay BEFORE you ask your question. If the answer does not work, you are still charged for the transaction! I am still out $54 for an answer that didn't stay fixed!

The website said my card would not be charged unless I approved the answer. I never approved the answer and I got charged anyway. There was no link to request a refund and nowhere to even get back to them to ask about it. It took them hours to send an answer and it was so basic I had already tried it (reboot your machine and the router). I never clicked the "Accept" button.

I would not recommend this site to anyone! They say your satisfaction is 100% gauranteed. However I did not get the help I needed and they charged me anyway, eventhough they have a reminder that say's your account will not be charged until you push the accept buttom. What a crock, I never accepted, and they also gauranteed they would get back to me within two hours via e-mail, it's been 4 days. I have also sent 4 e-mails to their customer service and have not received one reply. In order to get back on the website they want another deposit.
Needless to say I am not in the least satisfied with this site!
