I was transferred to JustAnswer from a Moen plumbing fixture chat site. I was looking for information about an installation problem with a specific Moen product. JustAnswer said that I would be charged a $5 membership fee and a $40 monthly fee thereafter. The answer from the plumbing expert was that I should submit a warranty claim to Moen. I wanted to share a photo of the connection problem that necessitated my call, but the attachment feature in the JustAnswer chat did not work--it simply gave the file size limit and did not allow me to upload a photo.
If the "expert" had provided actual expertise or if the site had permitted him to analyze my specific problem, I wouldn't consider the combined $45 fee to be unfair compared to calling an actual plumber. But it's unconscionable that your company is charging me $45 for what's essentially non-assistance.
I will advise friends and family members against having anything to do with JustAnswer, because for me, your "service" has been an utter rip-off.

I have 3 separate emails from Just Answer, so I am sending this response to all 3.
First of all, I want to thank you for trying to solve the problem of my HP printer "losing" the network. Your suggestions to reboot the router, computer and printer were good, as was downloading HP's Print and Scan Doctor, however nothing worked. I even tried to delete and then re-install the printer, and that didn't work. I am not faulting Just Answer because I know you did your best and even followed up, which I appreciate.
I wound up hiring a local technician from Hello Tech, who was able to restore the network connection. He left instructions should the problem recur, and said I should consider directly cabling the printer to the router with a switch.
I am 79 years old and retired and I cannot afford a $55.00 monthly fee for possible future problems. Please unsubscribe me from the monthly service, or respond to indicate how I would need to unsubscribe if you cannot do it for me.
I will keep your information on file, because I believe Just Answer is a company that genuinely wants to help people.

Curiously, my problem got solved by outside help arriving unexpectedly. I was just at the stage where the JustAnswer expert tries to understand more about the problem. The questions were thoughtful, and I believe the experts would have, quickly, solved the problem.
I was wrongfully terminated by a US subsidiary of an international compay. The lawyer from JustAnswer gave me explicit advice on how I can address my case as a victim of age discrimination. It was excellent support for me to make my case for increased severance payout.

Dr. Jill is incredibly informative and objective. She encouraged me to make a veterinary appointment and take my dog into the actual clinic for his issues, which I appreciate. She is honest, and gave me advice on how to minimize his problems until we could get him into the doctor.
