CALLED THE CHAT FEATURE ON vvENMO, THEY SAID I NEEDED TO TALK TO SOMEONE WHO COULD HELP WITH MY ISSUE AND DIRECTED ME TO jUST aNSWER. YOU HAVE TO PUT IN YOUR CREDIT CARD WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO CHARGE YOU $5 REFUNDABLE. THE CHARGE CAME THROUGH AT $40. I GAVE MY NUMBER AND RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM "THE EXPERT" WHICH WAS JUST A BOT WHICH PUT ME ON A TERMINAL HOLD WITH HORRIBLE MUSIC. AFTER APPROX 10 MIN, THE CALL DISCONNECTED AND THE "BOT" CALLED BACK AND I WAS PUT ON HOLD WITH TERRIBLE MUISIC AGAIN FOR ANOTHER 7 MINUTES, AFTER WHICH I HUNG UP. NO RESOLUTION AT ALL.

Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
