It's same as being seen my many many so-called pain Drs who can't prescribe anything more than extra strength aspirin and a lot of words I hear over & over! It's atrocious how people my age can be treated like throwaways! I've suffered with the spine surgery, rods, screws and add to that arthritis of spine, dystonia in foot and other issues and Drs are ok with letting me spend the rest of my days in constant pain, and add depression & anxiety on top and you have a PERSON under all that just asking for relief. I never abused my medication privileges but I am definitely the one being made to suffer for it! It's inhuman.

I was asked to help repair a friend's 2001 EZGO TXT 36v cart. He told me that it had just stopped running, and he figured that it was probably a faulty directional switch (forward/reverse) So, after a "few" beers, he decided to replace it with an old one he had on hand (off another cart) He only removed a few wires (he said), but couldn't remember which ones and where they were supposed to attached. By the time I went to look at the cart, he had pretty much screwed up EVERYTHING! I had some old reprints of EZGO TXT cart repair manuals (I used to own one just like his), but they were pretty confusing. Finally, in frustration, I contacted JustAnswer. The first tech (David) helped me get things back where they were supposed to go, but when I got it all put together, I discovered a faulty throttle pedal micro switch. I ordered two (Amazon) and installed one in the cart. As soon as I pressed on the throttle pedal, I heard a "sizzling" noise, and saw that the new micro switch was burned out... got back with JustAnswer (a different David), he said everything looked right (I did send pictures), but that it sounded like there was a direct short in the wiring. I beat myself up for 2 days trying to find the short, finally I threw up my hands, installed the remaining new micro switch, and was just about to tell my friend that it was hopeless. He pressed on the throttle pedal, and low and behold, the darn thing worked! Turns out that one of the switches that I had just purchased was defective (the original one probably burned out when my friend incorrectly rewired the directional F/W switch)

It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
