Poor
October 1, 2023

Paid for a bag, payment processed and no order notification nor updates sent. Wrote to customer service many times (via email, via dm, etc) and no answers at all. It's one month now since my payment has been processed and no sign of my bag and of their customer service as well. Very very very poor brand.

Not worth it!
November 22, 2021

I waited 2 months for my purse. I thought this was an American co. But it turns out to be from China. I am so mad. The bag I purchased came noticeably uneven and one of the zippers was broken. Hopefully we'll get a refund...

I waited 2 months for the product and at one point she didn't even send it and cashed my money but then eventually sent me a diarrhea colored purse that looked nothing like what I ordered from her website.

I ordered a lovely handbag. Says should ship or arrive 10-15d. They charge my credit card. I got an email stating that my order was processed and there was a tracking number. I went to track the number and it said no label was made and therefore the bag could not be tracked. They have replied to one out of three emails and I'm still waiting for my bag. I did not know it's coming from China nor made in China. Very disappointing. I may ask Lisa to credit my account. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I ordered a bag from them a year ago and all went well. I ordered two more bags from the about 7 months ago and that should have been my sign to stay away. Both the bags arrived damaged with a horrible order and took almost a month to receive. They refunded my money after several pictures and emails. The bags were smaller than expected but that was my fault for not getting a tape measure out. I saw this handbag 38 days ago and ordered it. They stated 10 to 15 days to ship in the description. Ten days after I placed my order they posted a tracking number that was nonexistent and after three emails they finally responded saying their was a custom issue in China and they had to resend the bag. After two more emails I finally got a different tracking number that works but for the past six days it is still waiting for the package to arrive to whatever Chinas equivalent to our Post officeis. I would have never bought this bag if I knew it was coming from China and if i ever get it i wont be able to use it because China has a horrible track record when it comes to the material they use in there products. I am glad i used PayPal because i can open a claim to hopefully get my money back because i wont ever see the handbag. Below the part to write this review they have a "Add credibility to this review with a photo. I can't because after 38 days I don't have a bag to take a picture of.

Love the bags.
July 8, 2018

I have purchased a couple of bags at Julia Kays specifically the Vintage tote and the Amelia tote and I loved them! The shipping timeline was around two weeks, but I can say that the wait was definitely worth it. I love the way the bags fit me. I will definitely order more from them soon!

A few months ago I bought the Alma Vintage European Tote bag after seeing an Instagram ad. The bag was already on sale, but because the shipping was delayed (FOR WEEKS) they dropped the price to around $50. After 1 month when I finally received the bag, it was faulty. One of the zippers (that is for show and needs to stay closed if you don't want all your stuff falling out) was not sewn in closed. So you couldn't use the bag because of the huge gap. After emailing their customer service line several time I was able to get a full refund of the bag. Fortunately, my father was able to fix the zipper and I used it for about 5 days. THEN the should strap RIPPED off the purse, and one of the handles unwinded and also fell off. This all happened while I was at a concert, and I misplace my phone when everything fell on the floor. No purse, and never found that phone when it fell out. A big F U to this company for their terrible product.

I purchased 2 of the Brooklyn Satchel bags, in 2 different colors, one light brown and the other grey. I was fully expecting a normal sized satchel that I can use as a carry on when traveling. Um, these bags are TINY! They would fit my 10 year old daughter appropriately! Definitely NOT what they looked like on their website and in addition, the material is some disgusting vinyl, NOT leather! The bags are horrible! When I inquired how to return them for a refund, the answer was "you can send them back to Shanghai to a temporary apartment that we are using for returns until we get something else set up. Unfortunately there's no return system yet for the United States customers". Then when I asked for the specific address in Shanghai the response was "actually if you can follow-up in 2 weeks we may have an address in the U. S for you to send the returns to". They have yet to provide me with a return address, but sure did offer to refund me 20% of my purchase and send me new bags. NO that's NOT what I want! Of course when I threatened to report them for fraudulent business, they don't respond anymore! I'm now out $100 for those 2 horrendous bags, I wouldn't even give them to my kids to play with! HORRIBLE COMPANY AND DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU, THEY'RE NOT IN THE UNITED STATES, THEY ARE BASED OUT OF CHINA!

Garbage
January 8, 2018

Purchased a handbag in 11/2017 to give as a Christmas gift. The brown bag arrived with black scuffs and one of the straps, which was fastened on with a decorative type screw, was already detached from the bag. I located the screw in the package and was able to reattach, but I also contacted the company as the bag should not have arrived that way. They said the best they could do was offer a 20% refund and send a replacement handbag, still allowing me to keep the original or dispose of however I choose. I did not want to spend $20+ on shipping back to them overseas (found out it was overseas after the package arrived), so I accepted that offer. I gifted the replacement bag on 12/25/17 and today, 1/7/18, I found out that it broke yesterday the same way the first one did. She put it back together and again, the screw didn't stay. I informed the company who stated it must have "slipped past their QC team" but if I send pictures I would get the full refund as requested. This isn't an issue with one dud bag making it through quality testing, this is an issue with the actual quality of products sold. I would not recommend this company and I firmly do not believe their home base is in California.
