The live chat people were very i helpful...it was nice speaking to someone even if it was online and not a phone. The person answered all of my questions and was a big help. I saw this item while in Aruba but didn't buy it and regretted that as soon as i left Aruba. Once back in NJ I researched the jewelry and got the same deal at J. R. Dunn. The jewelry arrived quickly and was wrapped very nicely. I would definitely shop here again.

After many searches on the internet and in person, J.R. Dunn was the only place that carried this relatively rare watch band. The purchase price was a bit higher than I would have liked to pay, but since this is so rare, I gladly paid (it was not a totally unreasonable price). I still don't know the details about the return policy because the link to the information was broken on the website and it was too late in the day to have a live chat with an Expert. I trust there will be no re-stocking fee if the Michele band I bought does not attach properly to my watch head (as has happened before with another retailer) and it needs to be returned?
Earring is smaller than I thought.
Come off very easily bc it doesn't lock securely.
I had to check frequently if my hoops are secure and not come off from the lil hole

I have been a repeat customer of JR Dunn for a few years now, generally leaning on them for gifts for my husband, they have one of the nicest selections of men's jewelry I have seen and the selection has such diverse range to suite traditionalists and those who like to wear edgy more modern pieces. Customer service was very helpful and responsive and I liked the text messaging service. They gave me a coupon code and kept me updated on the status of my order. My only complaint is that the packaging was taken from another watch because I could see the band imprints from a different watch, that's not a huge deal but it was a bit off putting. Overall I will be purchasing from J.R. Dunn again in the future.
The Jade piece is stunning and when it arrived, it surpassed my expectations. The only issue I had was the "next day delivery" deal proved impossible to execute. However, Given how friction less the process of ordering this custom piece was and its desired impact on my spouse, I cannot say I'm upset.

The purchasing experience is really nice since the item I ordered was actually not in stock at the moment, one of the customer representative has emailed me and let me know the situation that the item needs to be ordered and also provided me with an estimate of delivery time. But I got the item much earlier than that. This is a gift purchased for my cousin and she's looking for this necklace for a while but had no luck, so I found it for her.

Easy navigation on website; however, various options shown online on product is not available. Would be great if website is updated based on availability of inventory-got a call that what I had ordered was not available, but sales person offered another product which was acceptable but not really my first choice. Disappointing but overall service is very good! Also, free shipping is appreciated!

Business History
While at IBM, Jim met his future wife, Ann Marie Pelliccia, who was working as an executive secretary. Like Jim, she was driven by an entrepreneurial spirit. She was 10 years old when her family immigrated to this country from Italy. It didn’t take long for Ann Marie to master the English language and become the interpreter for her father’s cabinet-making business. She went to work every day after school with her father from age 11 until she graduated high school. Soon after, she joined the team at IBM. “It was IBM that helped us forge our philosophies about customer service and business ethics,” said Ann Marie.
The couple married in 1969 and together decided to take a chance by starting a jewelry business. With their savings of $10,000, the couple purchased a small house in Hanover, MA and converted it into their first jewelry store, The House of Gems.
During the first year, their store was burglarized and every piece of jewelry was taken, including customers’ repairs. To make matters worse, the Dunns were in between insurance policies. The couple went from door to door informing and reassuring each client that their prized possessions would be replaced. Ann Marie and Jim paid for the stolen jewelry out of their own pockets to preserve their reputation of integrity and trust.
Word spread when the couple made good on their promise, and business began to grow by leaps and bounds. The House of Gems soon outgrew its tiny location. Jim and Ann Marie relocated the store to a nearby mall in South Weymouth, MA and changed the name to J.R. Dunn Jewelers, emphasizing the importance of the family-owned and operated business.
In 1978 the couple relocated to South Florida and opened a small jewelry boutique, serving a select clientele by appointment only. This is when the Dunns were fortunate enough to have 18-year-0ld Robert Pelliccia, Ann Marie’s brother, come on board at the age of 18 and eventually start creating one-of-a-kind custom creations for their discerning clients. It didn’t take long for J.R. Dunn Jewelers to outgrow its location once again; that brought about the monumental decision to purchase a 6,000 square-foot building on Federal Highway in Lighthouse Point, Florida.
Today, J.R. Dunn Jewelers has expanded to 8,000-square-feet showroom in Lighthouse Point and is an Official Rolex Jeweler conveniently located between Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale just and just under an hour from Miami.
