I rented a standard 4/4 size cello from Johnson Strings and it was perfect. I ordered it then picked up in the store. The sales people were very informative and polite. Also, ordering the instrument online was very easy.

I received my cello case in a timely manner, and I was happy to see that it was checked for quality before it shipped to me. They put extra care in packaging the case for shipping which I greatly appreciated.

They were supposed to ship the bow that afternoon since I'd ordered in the morning before the deadline. The salesperson said I'd receive it the next day, based on distance. They shipped 2 days later! Because it was the weekend, I ordered on Wednesday and received it on the following Monday.

This light is just "so-so". First off, it doesn't put out as much light as I hoped for. Second, the switches to turn on the individual lights were inop/intermittent at first. After "cycling" the switches several times they seemed to work better but I am leery that they will last. I would not recommend this light.

The violin I received is a step up from the last one; and I was definitely ready for one. This violin is beautifully responsive and resonant. Great experience dealing with Johnson String overall! Thanks!

Service is great, sale price good. Thank you. I only wish the case would stay open when I lift the lid. Its a little awkward to get the violin, then the lid shuts and now I have the violin in hand and need to reopen the case to get the bow, etc. Im hoping it will loosen up with a little use.

Loving my new Bam scuba hoodie. I didnt realize that the zipper on this one is coated to prevent water from seeping inside. Added bonus! I think this will add more protection than the quilted one. Very happy with this purchase

I shop at Johnson Strings online since I leave close to the 'other ocean' in NW Washington state. Their prices are competitive with other online dealers, their sales are excellent, and when I have called with questions, they are most helpful and kind. They also carry materials not listed on other string supplier websites. I have told other people where I live about Johnson Strings.

This is annoying. It have to use 100 words or it won't submit and I lose my right to comment?! Now I'm not happy. This is a pain in the butt. It says "in one sentence " and the rejects submission because iits counting words.
