Disappointed

Thank you for sending me somebody's returned item. The box was filled with foreign newspapers and other persons's UPS shipping slips.
Item itself was in good condition but not a good shopping experience.

Quick but no Quality
December 30, 2019

We received the electric violin we ordered for my daughter in time for Christmas - yay! But it did not work - boo! It was incredibly disappointing. We called customer service and the rep told us to replace the battery with a new one, which we went to the store to purchase - 5 in a pack and only needed one. That did not work and now we have to send it back and she went back to NY without her long-awaited electric violin with which she would gig with to make money. Frustrating!

Side note, you might want to get my name right!

The bass bag I ordered is of high quality and great value. Unfortunately, my bass is an unusual size and it didn't fit. They promptly gave instructions for returning it with credit for the shipping cost. Would definitely deal with them again if I could find what I need.

My violin is all snuggled up in his new Mooradian oblong case cover thanks to Johnson strings! Speedy delivery. Case cover was clearly well packaged and sealed up nicely. Quality experience overall!

Item not as Pictured

The violin tape is not the same tape pictured on the violin on the webpage. It is not even violin tape! The width is only 3/32 of an inch... certainly too small to be suitable on a violin fingerboard. The tape is actually graphic tape.

I've started playing the cello a couple of years ago. One of my friends is a professional player and he suggested JohnsonString and decided to check it out. Best decision I could have made. The shop is comfortable and welcoming. Each member of the staff is terrific and very nice. Being a beginner I worried that I didn't know how to begin and they made it super easy for me to pick the right equipment and getting started. Whenever I have an issue with the instrument, they are always glad to help me work through it or bring the instrument in the shop and they take of it without hesitation. It may be a bit of a drive from where I live, but it's certainly worth it! I highly recommend them to everyone I know.
