I am a midlife female changing to Electrical Drafting from Healthcare Admin of 20+ years. Jobscan allowed me to target specific jobs and be aggressive in my job hunt. 1 MONTH was all it took! Eight phone interviews, 3 Zoom meetings, and i got an offer for a job and company I wanted. Thank you so much Job Scan! You perform miracles.
A bit confusing to try to get resume and cover letter copied in for scan. I tried earlier today and procedure seemed not to allow both. Perhaps I'm at fault and confuse. I know you only give 5 free scans per month, so don't want to use them up.
I had premium membership for 3 months, the power edit options really works well for aligning your experiences to the job description!
Team at jobscan are doing a great work through frequent emails regarding job application progress & job suggestions based on your profile!
I got the desired job I wanted through using Job scan!
Awesome! Thank you for the feedback.
I applied for 3 jobs with the same company. The first application without Jobscan was unsuccessful. The other two with Jobscan's analysis of my resume and cover letters won me interviews as well as a casual position! Extremely happy!
This is awesome to hear! Thank you, Jeanette!
A little confusing so far, how do I reduce paragraphs?
Jobscan has (at least) two tools that strengthen my applications: The Scan tool compares your application materials (resume, cover letter) to the job posting and returns a score that measures how well your application matches the posting. It then identifies the words and phrases that you can add to improve that score. Power Edit is similar but let's you edit your resume within the app and shows the change in you match score with each edit you make. I've had resumes that start at 38% and improve to 84%!
Using Jobscan, I feel more confident that my applications will pass the ATS and be seen by real humans who will hopefully set up an interview.
I was tipped off to this service by a career coach and it made a huge impact on the way I was approaching my application process. I was able to spend time tailoring my resume/cover letter to better match the job description and the scan feature made it a breeze. Definitely opt for the 3 month subscription with the unlimited scans. I probably scanned/updated my resume a hundred times with different tweaks and was able to land a role before I had to pay anything. ;) It's such a valuable service- honestly.
Thanks, Jennifer, for this awesome feedback!
I do thank Jobscan for showing me and teaching me the tools to better my job searches.
The $ was well spent and within 3 months I landed. I would like to think that Jobscan's tool helped.
I do recommend it for anyone who is seriously looking for a new opportunity.

Awesome! Thanks for your feedback, Imen!
I heard about Jobscan from my aunt and have since been a huge fan. It saves me a ton of time identifying keywords for me and I received two interviews within a week after using them. Their customer service is also awesome!
I once experienced difficulties with a finding a good workplace and my friend hinted me that there are services which can help you to improve your resume. I found this one and they really did a great job. The offer didn't take a long to wait.
Skills often include "partnership" which doesn't include "collaboration" - and they mean very similar things so then my score is low. I don't want to put both partnership and collaboration in my resume...
I used Jobscan constantly to customize my resume for each position I applied to. It was very helpful to see which keywords stood out in the job description. I was then able to tailor my resume in such a way that, while remaining truthful, my past experience included the relevant keywords. It is a great tool to help de-mystify the applicant tracking systems and get the resume past them to a live person.
Thanks for the great feedback, Teresa. Glad to know you find Jobscan useful! :)
I applied to 50+ jobs recently and had a 15% interview rate, much higher than previous search attempts. Jobscan was a big part of it. It's much easier than manually tailoring job applications, and lets you preserve energy for the other parts of the process.
Thanks, Eric, for your wonderful feedback!
Free version isn't very helpful. But, I understand why. I'm going to have to wait until I can justify spending $50 for an account because my resume has already landed me one interview. If I accept the job I won't be looking for another one.
What a brilliant piece of software! After countless rejections for jobs, I was told my CV was being filtered out by the ATS. I hired a professional CV writer and had no better success. Using Jobscan for just a week resulted in no instant rejections, and an interview. The interface is very intuitive so can be used easily by anyone. I have recommended this to friends, who have had similar success. Thank you to the Jobscan team.
The site and information just doesn't seem to be providing me enough information on how best to utilize the functions you offer. Perhaps I've missed some important details, but my experience has been 'okay' so far. Help me get more out of the use of your site please!
Overall good experience. However, a few areas of improvements are noticed. At a number of times, I noted that despite providing job advert link, your system failed to spot the ATS. Not sure its intentionally designed this way to keep getting job links or its a system bug.
Extremely useful tool. Helped to identify the areas of my resume that needed to be customized in order to make it through the 'black hole' of submitting online. Yielded several callbacks and ultimately opened the door for landing a job.
Hi John! Congratulations on getting the job! We wish you all the best!
Thanks for the great feedback.
The title says it all. After many months of job searching and not hearing back from anyone, I learned about Jobscan. I put my resume in, thinking it was a pretty strong resume, just to see a 28% match to the job description. I went to work re-tooling my resume for jobs, taking a quality over quantity approach. It worked! I used Jobscan to apply to 3 jobs. I heard back from two of them, and one of those hired me! Given the fact that, before that, I was using the same resume to apply to hundreds of jobs and not hearing back? That's a great result. I definitely took a second to swallow the cost of the application, but given that I am getting a pretty serious raise with the new job - It's worth it!
This is awesome, James! Thank you for the feedback.
It does everything pretty well and is easy to use, but MY GOD - WHY IS THERE NO SPELL CHECK? I had an opportunity to get my resume in though a managing director of one of my top target companies, and realized there was a misspelled word. With all of the words that are highlighted, it makes it so difficult to catch.
Seems counter-intuitive in that you recommend matching terminology in job ads, then call that same terminology "negative". Also, it keeps telling me that my name, email and phone number are not in my resume when they are. I'm still figuring things out, though. Hopefully it'll get better.
Answer: Hi Tanisha! Jobscan recommends at least 80% for ATS to make your resume visible to the hiring manager. To boost your match rate, take a look at the missing skill and keywords (the ones denoted as red X) and see which ones are relevant to include in your resume. Focusing on including missing keywords that appear more frequently in the Hard Skills section will quickly boost your match rate. Here's a video tutorial that helps with getting your rate up - https://www.jobscan.co/video-resume-match-report. I hope this helps. Please reach out to support@jobscan.co if you have questions as you go along. Thanks!
