We purchased two sandwiches at the Venice location, mine was a Italian sub. It was the worst sub I ever had. The meat had no flavor, they put mayonnaise on it when asked not to. The toppings consisted of lettuce, tomato, and onion. I will never go there again nor would I feed this to my dog.
I highly recommend picking a different Jimmy Johns if you would like your order within a reasonable time!
I ordered 1 sandwich at 6:11 PM and by 6:56 I checked and my order had not even gone out for delivery! So much for their bragging on how fast they are! Probably better to use Subway, They got here in 21 minutes!
The meat is tasteless unless you like salty and watery. The wheat bread is not healthier than the French. Only one cheese with a bland taste? No hot sandwiches or even toasted! Just not worth it. Managers are often too young and immature to run a store the right way. Owners don't care as long as they are making money. Go anywhere else for better quality, service, and value. I would show receipt if I didn't throw it away. My review is for the Louisville, Ky location, Westport store.
They have made ordering such a convenience. You log on, place your order, and it's either ready to be picked up or delivered during the time frame specified... usually. I recently ran into one weird issue, their system automatically assigned a time to my order which I didn't select. I only noticed it after I got my confirmation email. I called the store and had them adjust the timing, but I'm just glad I caught it otherwise I'd have been waiting almost 2 hours for my sub.
JJ's needs to get a new Marketing Director! They think it's cute or acceptable to show an actor punching a hole in people's parked car tires to flatten them. Whose moron idea was this? There is enough mischief & crime in America without this really BAD example. No excuse for decision makers to allow this to air. Instead, they should be creating ads with a positive experience for their food.
Ordered to-go via the mobile app and purchased a pickle, cut in half, with my sandwich. When I got back to my office, I discovered the pickle was rotten and there was a huge dead pickle worm inside it, leaving a trail of excrement behind it. And unlike finding the prize at the bottom of my tequila bottle, this grossed me out. Clearly, anyone preparing food would have noticed it and tossed it aside before serving, right? Wrong. Then, to add insult to injury, I contacted the store and they said to contact main customer service, which I did; sent 2 emails with no response. I guess you could say I'm in a "pickle," because I'm at least due a refund, but also waiting for anyone with a pulse, unlike this little guy, to respond to my complaint. Oh and apparently, pickle worms are poisonous so, unless there's a secret pickle worm conspiracy afoot, I guess JJ feels I should be grateful I'm still alive, or sick, or maybe grossed-out... okay not sick but still grossed out. #pickleworm
I love Jimmy johns but I was furious today when they were out of white bread and gave me wheat. I looked at it and it was infuriating they need to have white bread and not this hole wheat crap. What had this business come to. It was 6:15
Very convenient location for us we normally dine in. Always fresh veggies and bread. Nice flavors all around good sandwiches. Service is fast Good people good vibes. Restaurant is exceptionally clean and organized. It's very hard to find a restaurant that functions with these very important elements.
This was my first time ordering food through delivery. Lunch was delivered to another Suite in the same commercial complex. I searched around within my office suite for my lunch. A lady was searching who was Candy; we eventually found each other. My sandwich bread was hard when I received it; however the chips and bottle of water was fine. I didn't receive a text message or email of final delivery. I thanked the lady for searching for me. I tipped them in advance too! My first and last doing this.:-(:-(
They are absolutely amazing! They always get my rather complicated order correct! I have been to several stores and none of the others even came close! There staff are super friendly and extremely polite! I will be coming back to this location even though there is another store that is closer to me!
Although they have said my area is out of their delivery area, I see them delivering near and beyond my house on a daily basis. In response to my original post, the "manager" says the employee that tried to get me to pay for his flat tire was fired. However, how did the manager know who to fire when I never identified the employee or even the employees gender. Sure the sandwiches are great, but their customer service and professionalism is terrible.
Since the implementation of "rewards program" the service has slowed down considerably. I suggest you figure out a quicker method (swipe?) to get customer phone numbers through the drive up. I frequent Jimmy's quite a bit, and nearly every time I have to repeat my order 2-3 times, so I have to wonder if your speaker system needs improvement, or employees need to wear headsets?
I ordered, for the first time, "The Veggie" because I love avocado. You could not taste any avocado. I found a sliver of avocado spread the size of a quarter in between the slices of cheese. Disappointing. Hence, I took one star. Other than that, as a veggie sandwich, it was very good. The lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and cheese were fresh. Delivery was spot on and quick. I biggest fear was that they would forget to leave mayo off, but they remembered! Jimmy John's, if you advertise avocado spread, at least put enough so we can taste that it is there!
I will no longer use Jimmy Johns for my lunch in Boardman Ohio. Last time I ordered for delivery it took 1 hour and 10 minutes and the store is 2 minutes away.
Today I opted to pick up and got a bad attitude from employee. Done with them.
Our employer ordered lunch for us! Effing horrible... 42 people agree the worst they ever ate... flaccid tasteless bread a few strands of lettuce. Nothing numbered all thrown together. Surprise tasteless meat... they forgot the meat in some... it all ended up in the trash! HOW CAN you SELL THIS stuff!
I don't see what a lot of people like about their subs. They are bland, the bread has almost no taste, and for one that was supposed to have tomatoes,

I used to order about weekly but no more. My order which was location specific with suite was delivered to the wrong floor. I had given a 25% tip on the website. I called looking for my sandwich and the GM was rude. I assume it's hard to get drivers so they are allowed to ignore the deliver instructions if they can't figure them out I guess. I've been ordering to this address for a while. My phone number was even on ticket. Bad service and I guess anyone can be a GM now.
We ordered our food for delivery, Jimmy Johns is 6 streets away and after 40 minutes we called inquiring on our food and was told they were really busy, street an hour we called back and we were told the good was dropped off. I advised we were never called end the app shows out for delivery, I was then told oh, not sure why they didn't call you but he hasn't checked in showing delivered. I asked if we will get fresh sandwiches if the ones delivered were soft. She said the don't guarantee a delivery time. Very disappointing!
ONE HOUR to deliver my "Freaky Fast" order. I had to call the store twice with little help or concern. The driver marked it as "delivered" 20 minutes before it got here? This has been the second time I've had to wait an hour for my deliver. I should have known better. I was hoping service had improved. To make things even better, my sandwich was made incorrectly. Very disappointed.
I have a Jimmy John's that is 2 minutes from my job and this is the 5th time that I never received my order and had to cancel after waiting over an hour, then told that is will take 3-5 business days to receive my refund. Terrible service and I will not be recommending this to anyone ever.
