I have always enjoyed Jib Jab, however, they need to stop Nickel and Diming their customers. Pay $18.00 Yr. Then 2.00 for a downloadable video, then 2.0 for mobile app for downloads, etc... STOP. I will buy and dump after 1 year... If you were to just charge me 14.95 a year I would most likely keep it year after year.
I liked the concept of making a personalized video, and I used it for a gift once. Why do you force people to make a year-long PAID subscription and special account for that? The way I see it, you want 1 video/ card/ etc, you pay for it and that´s it. Asking for my PAyPal account just to preview the video, and forcing me to make a monthly subscription, looks more like a fraud than a friendly website... And it´s a pity, because without this aspect, the idea and concept of the website is very nice.
We've had so much fun with JobJab. It's a really easy program to download and to use and converts easily into any format for sending to family and friends who either use Macs or PC's. If you need assistance it's available, and response times are quick. Thanks JibJab team for a wonderful fun bit of software available to celebrate any occasion.
Loved the video but it was pretty difficult to get the mouth right using the tools. Still enjoyed the results but it could have been easier to create. Would be fun to be able to insert a different expression or photo of same person at a spot in the video and then back again to the original photo.
I'm so glad that I discovered JibJab because I have a big family who loves to receive the cards I've made starring them in ridiculous, hilarious, but memorable videos! Every time we watch them we laugh so hard! We love them so much and they're so much more than sending a paper card and a whole lot less money! They're also more personalized than any paper card because you've got your loved ones faces playing a part in the actual videos! My family loves them and they have a big selection of all types of video cards, from Anniversaries and Birthdays to Holidays and Weddings! They're a lot of fun to make and they're easily shared with your friends and families online too!
JibJab needs to update some of the videos, or add new ones that are geared to a little more conservative audience, or members not so young, not ancient, but from a bit older generation. My friends and relatives love the JibJabs that sent by me, but I'm running out of choices. I am not new to JibJab, I have been a member for sometime now, but I think you have to cater to different tastes a little bit more.

My credit card had expired and I missed my original renewal date. JibJab continued my settings until I updated my card a day or so later. Then I received a low renewal rate because of a promo code that was automatically applied when my card information was corrected. That's why I've been a JibJab member forever.
It's cute and all, but to use it they charge a upfront fee for a year. You agree to that, then they charge you another $1.99 to be able to give the card you created to the person you made it for. So if you're not a frequent user, you just spent $22.00 for a cute card that was looked at once. I think I would have been better off with a Starbucks gift card!
The ecards I've put together really have made a lot of people laugh! There's something for every occasion. My son and his fiancé loved starring in I Got You Babe and want it played at their wedding. Thanks JibJab
I received an email from a friend with a cute Mother's Day jib jab that someone had sent her. I liked it so I decided to send it to a couple friends and had a little trouble understanding the process. Afterward my fri nds have not acknowledged receiving it and it has been 3 days :(
I didn't know i was being charged for a full year and I'm angry. I would never pay $24 Canadian to make jib jabs. You shouldn't have to subscribe for a year and oh how convenient there's automatic renewal! I'm disgusted. Why don't you just charge by each jib jab made? I want my money back.
The site doesn't give enough information, after you got the memerbship and try to get your ecards into your phone you discover its not included in the membership but actually costs more money, they need to add a tab about info of their prices so people can know all the details before they decide now it almost feels like an scam.
I have asked for a refund, have not seen it on my CC yet. I uploaded pictures and what you turned them into is not even remotely recognizable as my family. Love the idea, the execution was an F for me. Hope to see my refund soon and do re-contact me with better application for sure
I purchased this to send out Holiday greetings to my clients, however after purchasing the subscription I learned:
1. They only have 1 download license which prohibits changing the file in any way. This means you can't even edit in your company logo without legal consequences of some sort.
2. They don't provide a corporate option so that we can brand it as a company video with our logo. This is no good, especially since their videos are riddled with JibJab branding everywhere throughout the video.
3. They don't provide an HD download option. I've used other online video generating sites that provide 1080p & 720p at high qualities. They only provide a low quality compressed SD file.
I am not renewing my subscription. It is not worth the money. Someone else who does this right would earn my business.
I remember when JibJab was fun.
You found yourself a funny ecard, slice your friends heads out, and you all had a big laugh. Oh it was hysterical.
So I wanted to this some years later, for the sake of pure nostalgia.
And what do I find? About 15 seconds in the video goes blurry and a text tells you that you have to be a member to watch the whole thing. Pay money now please.
Wtf? That is pretty $#*!ing ridiculous. How greedy can you people get? It's a one time use for 2 minutes. Come on!
Original, funny, versatile. Love the creativity! Sometimes there are software issues when going from step one to step two with the head characters. The page reverts back to the main page instead of going on to step two when you hit the "Done " button trying to go on to step two. Other than that I love it and want to see more cards in all areas. Neat site!
JibJab have the best customer service policy and team I've ever experienced from any company I've ever come across. I had forgotten to cancel my subscription and was automatically debited. Danielle was able to track down my account cancel the subscription and refund the debit. Had a similar situation with Sony and PlayStation and was told too bad read the terms and conditions. Sony could learn a thing or two from JibJab.
Love the up to date music and variety of options. Just wish all the videos could be modified to whatever number of people needed rather than having to chose particular ones with the correct number of people. Also, couldn't figure out how to correct a is take without re-doing another video. There is no undo button.
It was good for most part. Suggest to offer more current music or dance videos. Also when we carve out headshot, it will be good to show a little bit of neck of each person.
In addition, suggest to allow users to combine 2 videos into one or edit or insert wordings.
Offer lower member fees.
I signed up on JibJab, so I could use their format to make a couple of funny cards. The site is very easy to use and I was very satisfied with the results. However, since I don't intend to use this site on a regular basis, and did not want to pay a fee for the entire year, I decided to cancel my subscription last night and this morning, I was promptly notified that I would be getting a refund. How is that for a rapid response to a customer's concern?
Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices. This is part of our desire to make sure that anyone can learn to use and send our cards! Please feel free to reach out to help@jibjab.com with any additional feedback and we'll pass it along.
Answer: No more than 30 min. Had to find and edit my pictures that I used.
