I love JibJab! I have made a profound amount of videos for family and friends. Although Elf yourself rocks also. They only produce Christmas videos. JibJab covers every occasion. Holidays, babies, birthdays, etc. And they are really excellent videos. I will keep JibJab for life. Pay for the total package, premium, upgrade, whatever they called it. I forget. It's not much. And it is worth it.
That all being said Facebook does have issue with the music videos when using famous artists. So when making those don't post direct to Facebook. Here is the solution that works for me.
Save the video to your device first.
Then upload to Utube.
From Utube click copy link... of the video or playlist.
Then you go back to Facebook about paste the link.
If you don't love JibJab you are not human!
This is my 2nd review. I been using it for a long time.
Sent to my brother-in-law for his 65th birthday. He's still laughing & they even shared it on FB. As my sister said, " The grandkids will enjoy for years to come."
Couldn't have picked better. Hilarious
I was particularly dismayed when I could not edit my text after previewing the Birthday card. Previously, I was able to preview and then edit the text. Also, I believe I used to get notification when the recipient read the card. Also, I wear bangs and my red hair showed. I could have taken a pic without bangs, but it seemed like too much trouble.
I am thinking of canceling my subscription.
I have not used JibJab as I thought I would do Ivrequested a link to discontinue service. I received a very quick response that the staff took care of my request themselves and refunded my money. I will utilize them in the future for any email greetings Thank you JibJab staff!
Jib Jab is funny and entertaining as well as easy to use.
My interest will be to see how Jib Jab changes what it offers as far as product. Mixing up the product line will be the only thing to keep it fresh.
More sports themes would be appreciated. We all celebrate what our kids are doing and having sports alternatives like "Take me Out to The Ballgame" would be great.
I sent 3 happy birthday jabs to 3 different people having birthdays. 2 worked fine but the 3rd one (James Brown) would freeze half way through the stream on every occasion. When I sent it to my son for his birthday it never arrived in his inbox after multiple attempts, and it wasn't in his spam folder. In all 3 jabs the mouth movement was in the wrong place on the face of the photo
One morning, I realized it was my sister's birthday and I had forgotten. I tried to find a belated birthday greeting card and was extremely dissappointed in the choices the card store had. Since she lives on the other coast, lunch would not work. Within 15 minutes I created a video birthday card, customizing the card with family member faces. Within a few hours she called me, still laughing. She loved it! Thanks Jib Jab!
JibJab is not only the most fun 'VIDEO STARRING YOU' e-card site on the Web, it is simple to use and has the best support anyone could ask for. I had an issue that needed resolved & I expected the same old ~ wait a week for a reply, then get nowhere with them~ But to my surprise, a young lady named Alessandra - Director of Customer Service went above and beyond to resolve the issue (even though it was my own fault). Fixing it in no time at all. Anyone who has not tried JibJab is missing out on a lot of fun. I HIGHLY recommend you check it out! I swear you will be so glad you did! Some of the video's are free, but you will want to become a member to have access to ALL the amazing possibilities. Bottom line is... I can't say enough good things about JibJab. JibJab rocks!
Hi all
For the 30th birthday of my son i created a Jabber e-card song/dance and posted it on facebook (on the site of my son and also myself to share with friends). Unfortunately the e-card didn't work on the mobile solutions but only on Windows applications.
Best regards
I love the JibJbab videos. The only thing I would like improved is the ability to manipulate your images AFTER you have viewed them in the video. (i. E., size, mouth animation). Still, I do love the JibJabs and just keep recreating them, they literally bring JOY to me and my family. Thank you for this fun venue!
First they didn't tell me that it would auto-renew and charge 18 the second time around. When I canceled they said I would get a refund in 48 hours and I gave them 5 days. I finally emailed and they said they would refund in 7 to 10 days. The worst part is they stole my identity. When I signed up it was with my debit card. Earlier this year my bank issued new cards with new numbers to place the new chip in the cards and my old card was canceled. Somehow without my knowledge jibjab obtained my new card number and charged my new card. They claim I gave them the card number originally which is not possible since I had a different card then. They will steal your identity, don't sign up ever
I like Jib Jab and bought the 19.00 dollar a year subscription but I was surprised that I couldn't download any of the video cards I created. That made me less than totally happy with it. I would have assumed I could keep anything I created. I was wrong.
I only use jibjab very occassionaly, so I am not an expert at it. But each time I use it, I am impressed by how simple (and fun) JJ has made the process. The only negative is how much extra time I spend playing on their site... endless possibilities!
Always loved jibjab animations. Great potential for cards. But the user experience sucks. You don't explain that users will have to buy a member ship to send cards. You don't allow one-offs. When you say post to Facebook. It just posts a a link back to jibjab. Which sucks. And then you want to charge more money if I want to download the video i paid for. That all SUCKS. Fix the UI. Explain what users need to do and what to expect. Til you do that, this site is a ripoff.
I live in Australia and my "little boy" will turn 35 on the 16th. He will be in the Caribbean for his birthday.
He has said that he kept laughing long after he first opened his card. I forwarded it to his sister here in Australia and the three of us have enjoyed laughing together on his birthday. Thank you JibJab.
I paid for a father's day card? Maybe? When I paid for the video and set up my husband's face in the card it never showed up. Then I just wanted to back out and I couldn't figure out how. It made me regret even looking at it. I still don't know if I paid for something that I didn't get.
Im going through a serious illness and have brought laugh out loud greetings to my friends and family.
The only reason i gave you 4 is because I do not need innappropriate or dirty movements. ----cross the line on many options I cant use.
Thank You! I love the dances the best.
I need more thank you selections.
It's kind of tricky to fit the faces and correctly get the right position of the mouth so the teeth are in the right place. Also you assume the characters will be shown in the same order as you picked them (left to right) but that dioesnt happen. Otherwise, it's a fun experience and the receivers quite enjoy them!
I was abit surprised to have some of the old ones still on show from previous years... abit disappointing really... some new cards would not go astray... as people still remember the one's I sent in 2014 of sorts!
Love making the JibJabs but I'd have been willing to pay a little more to have the downloads included. It feels like I'm being nickel'ed and dime'ed after paying for a subscription to pay an additional $1.99 to download.
Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices. This is part of our desire to make sure that anyone can learn to use and send our cards! Please feel free to reach out to help@jibjab.com with any additional feedback and we'll pass it along.
Answer: No more than 30 min. Had to find and edit my pictures that I used.
