I've used this site on and off for years. This year I forgot to cancel my auto renewal and only got reminded when I got the payment notification. On contacting customer services they located my account cancelled the renewal and refunded the charge with no issue.
When I'm in a position to need their awsome cards again I will be re-subscribeing:-)
Saw the ad 2 days before Easter on FB.
Thought 0h cool. I'll make these videos for my grandkids. I spent over an hour and a half finding the perfect picture, oh geez then said sent. Nope never sent. Very disappointed!
I think I laughed as hard making the cards, especially the ones w Mexican themes since I am retired in Mexico as my family and friends did when receiving them. I got the idea from my son who subscribes. The only reason I am not renewing is finanacial and I am quitting/not renewing all entertainment subscriptions.
I like making cards featuring the same 4 people (2 couples) and am bummed that there are quite a few cards where you *have* to use 5 people. Also why is there no way to store email addresses of the people you send to over & over so you don't have to retype them every time?
I really like what you are doing. Though, its really nice to know when the person you sent the video too that we are informed like the way Jacqui LawsonCards does. When ever I sent out Jacqui Lawson cards I would get a email letting me know that the recipient viewed it. Great feature. Also, when I tried the free intro it was a bit of a challenge getting the mouth to look right. There was no way of deleting the pictures and I kept adding more pics and it was confusing as to which copy I should work with. I think a delete button for the pics could be helpful... cause it takes a few times to get the size of the face right.
Ridiculous that you have to pay $12 a year to use this. Then another $2 to download it... and it's the crappiest quality! 360p!? Really?! You can't even give us an HD version of our $14 video?! Canceling NOW.
Nice customizable e-cards, but NO information on cost or anything until you've built a card then entered personal info to sign up. After spending lots of time prepping you only then find out their (outrageous, I feel) pricing. This information should be easily accessible from the start. Despite having prepped one of their cards, I opted not to sign up due to this terrible policy and instead paid for a one-time use card from another site. I don't appreciate these types of underhanded tactics.
First, the Jib Jab was never delivered to the email address that I recorded for it to be sent to. Secondly, I was joining for the first time, and the price was advertised as a monthly rate, so I assumed that that's all I would be charged at first. Should have read the fine print apparently, as I instead was charged $18 up front (the annual rate) for a card that didn't even get delivered!
I work in Marketing and I can say the the overall subscription and customer service surpassed any other that I've had in my career. This is noteworthy, their team and the user experience should be applauded. I need to share this 5 star rating with everyone. Awesome team, awesome direction and you honestly have NOTHING TO LOSE To try the service. Kudos Job Jab team! Well done!
My card was never sent out, and was charged for a card that my daughter had sent to me? Emailed your company, about it and no respond on how they were going to handle it. Tried this around 2 yeas ago, and had a problem sending card out. I gave up, then decided to try again, with no luck! Account was emailed to me, with the $4.99 charge for a card I did not send. So I will not try again to use this service.
I used the app and me and my daughter had a good time with it. However i made mistake and misread the price. Not being able to afford it at the time I asked for a refund. Without hesitation they refunded all the money. Its not everyday u see customer sevice like this. They didnt let greed and policy get in the way of making a customer happy. Wish there weren more companies out there that would follow jib-jabs example. Now i have to get back to arguing with a billion dollar corporation known as cbs over 5 bucks. The complete opposite of customer service and one that could take a few pointers from jib-jab.
Can't edit your video and get swindled into spending $20 to send a card (because you can't be charged per card). Because the first card I made couldn't be edited and because the selection isn't that great, I feel the "subscription" is not worth it at all.
I purchased JibJab originally to make Christmas videos of my students. We showed them on a big screen to the parents at our party... they went crazy! All of them wanted me to email the JibJab videos of their children to them. It was soooo much fun!
1 star for the deception, I was completely shocked that you tookthe entire 18 bucks off upfront. Your ad shoes, diffrent. 18 bucks is not gonna kill me but itsthe point.the app itself if fine, but for 18 dollars it should have a few more categories. For example, movies or sports act.
Used to be far more user friendly. Cant get pictures off facebook anymore, even using chrome, and have been a long time customer. Was without for several months and never used the free3months (Thats it?) for all the hassles and time spent trying to end one card. I am good at making these. Just disappointed as youve grown, not so great and no one got back to me til the 3rd or 4th email. Used to love it! Bummer!
I sent an email asking why all of the GIFs were the personalized ones rather than the ones they also used to include. I was very pleased with how quickly they responded and for the clear answer they provided. Unfortunately, it wasn't the answer I was hoping for. All of the GIFs will be personalized because that's what the majority of users were using. I do not prefer those and will sadly be cancelling my membership. I don't like the changes they made but I do appreciate how quickly and aptly I was responded to. JibJab you will be greatly missed!
I requested a cancellation of my account and refund. I received a refund within minutes of my request. The only reason I cancelled is due to the fact I did not use this site often enough to warrant a fee. No return email or response wishing for me to reconsider. Which I receive from other sites. Wish other sites responded so wuickly. Thank you...
I spotted the JibJab add and thought I would check it out. Being a divorced woman and scrolling through all the Valentine's Day love splashing all over Facebook, I thought maybe I could have a little fun with a JibJab video. I used the faces of my family and could not stop laughing! It was perfect!
I had an issue with renewing my annual subscription this season and the JibJab representative provided with me a workable solution to get me back on track. I was very impressed with the quickness to my concern and I'm happily back as a full JibJab member thanks to his assistance.
Very disappointed in what I actually paid for. I wish I could get a refund! The app gives the impression that there is so much more content for paying but there really isnt. Wish I had just kept using the free service.
Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices.
