The customer service is absolutely appalling. Order trainers a month ago with 5-7 days delivery and they never arrived. Kept chasing this up and they eventually admitted they had just ‘lost them'. Didn't fancy telling me until I kept chasing it up. I spoke to Jon from their customer service who was extremely rude and unhelpful and blunt and said all they can do is offer a 10% discount - not very helpful after waiting a month and my order being lost? Every time you email someone in the chain a different person replies and they all say and promise a different thing. Trying to get a refund which is proving impossible. My second and LAST time ordering from JD Sports, absolutely appalling and embarrassing. No wonder everything is on discount, clearly the only way they're making money
I purchased shoes on Black Friday for my son, for Christmas. Unfortunately, we were not able to celebrate Christmas with family due to positive covid cases. We finally celebrated in mid-January. It was then that we noticed the salesperson gave us the correct size 11 but it was in women's and not in men's. We tried to exchange the next day. They said no because it was past 45 days. I tried calling corporate customer service and was told the same thing. Apparently their "systems" won't allow it. Having worked many years in retail, I know that is BS. Every system can be over written by a manager. I didn't want a return, I wanted an exchange.
I've paid for an express delivery and received my order after TWO WEEKS! I've sent them lots of emails and the answer was always like please wait, we are working on it. What's the point in the express delivery then? It's either a scam or they are horribly understaffed. I will not buy anything here again.
Purchased some trainers wrong trainers come in broken box that had been cello taped together. The stitching and gluing on the trainers are awful emailed jd haven't heard nothing from them. Matched the trainers received with a pair I have so many flaws not authentic at all
Avoid! I purchased Nike sneakers which fell apart in under a single month! Fooled me once and then again not realising the fraudulent apparel being flogged by this shyster company. I purchased a different pair of sneakers and identified them as unauthorised manufactured goods ie. FAKE! And failed at my attempt to receive a full refund upon item return. The shyster pack at JD Sports claimed they did not sell unauthorised products, so they are lacking in integrity and flatly dishonest.
Even after two weeks of waiting there seems to be no indication from JD sports that they have any intention of shipping my order and seem very content with just holding my money without upholding their end of the bargain. Customer service also seems to be completely absent so don't expect them to provide any sort of help. Scam of a company and lightyears worse than its competitors such as Footlocker or Champs. Never do any online shopping with JD sports as they will take your money and leave you with nothing.
Joke of a customer service.
Ordered three items this week, everything going fine until I receive an email stating that my order has been processed, which I thought great. This is where the saga starts!
Checked the email. Only one item is going to be delivered other two items are being refunded as the pickers could process as now stock!
Went back on to the web page and guess what the items were still available to purchase.
I thought that's odd, so online I go, after speaking to the help desk. They reassured me that my order will come in two delivery's and my two items are being picked and processed as we have stock. Great again, I thought that was a bit odd but I'll give them the time to sort.
So an email arrived to say, that one or more items is being cancelled as the product's are out of stock!
So, moral of the story if you want to be mucked around and only a third of your order is going to be delivered, batter on and use this company. My advice shop else where!
I made a mistake on my order and even though I did not initially receive an email support response right away, I called them next day and within 10 minutes they fixed my issue! The customer experience was polite, understanding and very helpful. The negative reviews had me anxious but my own real experience was more than excellent. Will be a repeat customer, thanks JD Sports!
I was bought a gift card for my birthday but when I went to spend it on some trainers i was unable to complete the purchase because the item was shipped directly from a supplier (Nike)
They basically hold your money hostage unless you are buying their overpriced items directly from them!
It's absolute sham!
If you are thinking about buying someone a gift card, don't do it! Give them cash instead and tell them buy elsewhere! Don't support companies with shoddy business practices like this!
Ordered a pair of Nike joggers, they took $130 and never sent the order or responded to my repeated calls or emails. If you look at their Instagram it seems I'm not the only one who has been on the receiving end of their shady business practices. Spend the extra couple dollars and go to a reputable sports store this one is a rip off.

When our local store did not have the shoe size in stock that we needed, we ordered on line. The order was placed Friday evening, Feb. 17, and arrived Thurs. Morning, Feb. 23. We paid the extra $10. For expedited shipping. There was a long week-end in the time frame, so I think the delivery was timely.
The only thing that was a little confusing was that, in our confirmation e-mail we were told that we would be receiving an e-mail with tracking information. Such an e-mail never arrived. I called our local store (Winnipeg Polo Park) for info., and was directed to the website, where I easily found the tracking info.
All the staff at the Polo Park store were very helpful and courteous.
I was a little concerned after reading some negative reviews of JD Sports, but our experience was positive.
Ordered and paid for shoes online. When I arrived at store after waiting for about an hour the manager finally told me they were not in stock anymore. Although the manager tried to help he had no authority to do anything. I was in a bind so My only option was to spend another $100 on a different pair of shoes and wait 7-10 days for a refund for the shoes they did not have in stock. I will never ever deal with JD sports again
Used to work for the Calgary Chinook location. Upper management overstocks the back room with product only for it to be sold off to resellers. Back rooms/warehouses are often so overstocked it makes shipping and receiving online orders for customers completely impossible (see below pictures) District management is verbally abusive with young staff 90% of the time. Staff (especially in the warehouse/back room) are severely underpaid compared to the workload and expectations. Both part and full time employees are often expected to stay to do in some cases hours of unpaid overtime. All in all horrible shopping and working experience.
I placed 3 orders online and a more than a month into them taking my money, I have not received the orders. There have been countless emails sent, calls made and I have yet to receive a reply. I'm at the point where I might actually contact the authorities and report them. How can you run an international company and not put any emphasis on customer support. This is starting to arrive at the point of robbery when money is taken and you get nothing in return. It seems they are operating a charity and not a business.
Ordered a size 8 pair of Women's Nike Blazers for my daughter for Christmas. I was sent size 8 Mens Blazers. Have sent several emails, called 10 plus times, used the live chat 8 plus times and not once have a been able to speak with anyone regarding this exchange. My daughter simply wants her Christmas gift to fit….absolutely terrible customer service. I guess I should have done some research as it seems this is an ongoing issue - there is even a Facebook page called JD SPORTS complaints.
Bought a pair of shoes just for them to email me 4 days later saying they didn't have it in stock anymore. No $#*! it's been 4 days you're selling the shoe still but not shipping it. Now other in stock shoes have gone out of stock FU JD

There are times when items may go out of stock on our website due to the high amount of people trying to make a purchase. This will then cause a system error and allow a purchase to go through, even if our warehouse has exceeded it's stock level. We will allow 24-48 hours for the order to process and also try to source your item from another warehouse. However, if we are unsuccessful we will let you know and process a full refund.

The products are not delivered and the customer support is almost unreachable.
If they do response, they're ignoring and avoiding refund requests, making you wait until you pursue them legally.
If you don't want the hassle, just avoid JD Sports.
My experience: they stole my money and my order NEVER arrived. Interested myself to see how this will end.
Tried to return a pair of Nike air forces and get a new size but told I couldn't because the shoes had been tried on what a joke. People seemed very rude and had no intention of helping. There is no way I will purchase anything from this outlet. Not sure why they call themselves a sport shop not one piece of sport equipment in there. All I can say is don't waste your money buying from this outlet
I'd give a zero if it were possible. JD Sports cancelled my three total orders. Literally takes more than a week for the money to be remitted back to my account. What a $#*!ing waste of time. As a reseller and a buyer I highly do not recommend this $#*!ty website. What a pain in the $#*!ing $#*!.
They avoided me and watched me from a distance as if I was scheming. Every worker I looked at broke eye contact or walked away before I could get to them. As I reached a lonely aisle one of the employees popped up. I will also inform corporate. The manager and the cashier then gave me a sheepish look as they realized I could AFFORD everything I wanted. Totally unhelpful. The guy that got the shoes was walking around and NEVER ONCE told me they were by the register. I was waiting for him to give them to me. He kept looking up at the camera everytime we spoke.
