I was frustrated with what I thought was an error in billing on the part of Ivy Exec and could not get someone on the phone to assist, however I received a call back same day from the online customer inquiry and my problem was quickly explained and resolved.
I found a few boutique jobs I liked on there and then while trying to network into those companies I eventually landed my current job. It worked out great at the end.
I've hired my CFO through Ivy Exec and paid a fraction of the cost I would have paid to a traditional executive search firm. The Ivy Exec recruiter I worked with was first class, I couldn't be happier. I had previously hired my Controller through them as well.
Congrats, for a job well done!
Kevin was great about helping me cancel my subscription without a hitch when I was not using the one month free trial. Would recommend IvyExec to anyone looking to make a career change.
Ivy Exec is a great website but most importantly their customer service group is very professional and helpful. My experience with Kevin Ko was exceeded my expectations.
I love Ivy Exec. They got me my current job. They were wildly supportive, and kept me motivated through the whole process. Definitely give them a shot.
I love Ivy Exec. The idea of an actually exclusive job board really appeals to me! I used them earlier this year to get my current job. Awesome customer service.
You follow up was prompt and very helpful. Although I may not qualify for the MR study, you explained the Ivy Exec does indeed conduct this type of research
I have my first Mentor session on May 24th. The team at Ivy Exec was very professional and helpful throughout the process. Gayle, thank you for helping me pick the right mentors!
Their service is priceless. I did have a lengthy resume critique with one of their representative, who gave me genuine insights into how I can better present my resume.
Warning to all! Ivy Exec is a scam. They charge your credit card without letting you know. They are scammers from Eastern Europe who have multiple complaints against them on Better Bussiness Bureau, Yelp and Complaint Board.
Read this again: They will charge you hundreds of dollars without any prior notification. Never give them your credit card information for any reason. It will end up someplace in Balkans and you will never get your money back.
They steal job leads from other recruiters and disguise them as their own. Then they tell you that you have been 'selected' to view ELITE jobs, and the only way to join their site is to get verified via a credit card. Then, a month later they charge your credit card without telling you.
A bunch of job seekers have been scammed by these Serbian criminals and many of them are joining together to file a lawsuit against Ivy Exec.
I repeat, DO NOT trust them with your information! They will take your money without telling you.
Please warn others!
I'm not a client of IvyExec.com but I am considering it. I've read all of the reviews here (good and bad). All the bad reviews seem to have 1 thing in common. You "Cheap Charlies" always want something for free. When you don't get it - you think someone is cheating you. These people run a business not a charity and they are not the state employment office. If they are providing a higher quality of service that Careerbuilders.com or Monster.com then they are entitled to charge a few for that. Wake up people. Just because you finished college (presumably) does not mean the world is going to now lavish you with riches and they especially will not do it for free. You are not entitled to ANYTHING more than what you earn. Now stop crying and either play these people for their services or go post your stuff on Monster.com and starve to death waiting by the phone. Networking (the personal kind, not the IT related kind) is definitely a lost job hunting skill. The first generation Y kid who masters it will rule the world.
I found ivy Exec's short resume review very helpful. Nii Ato is very professional and knowledgeable. I was happy with the help I received as it gave me an expert outsider perspective.
Kevin was extremely helpful, polite and efficient in helping me resolve my problem. He call me back within 5 min of leaving a message. Had the issue resolved in under 5 min.
In general, I decided to cancel my service due to the way things are progressing with my current job. The Ivy Executive representative who handled my cancellation request was very professional.
I had requested a resume critique from Ivy Exec, little did I know how lucky I would be in working with Lilly- Marie Lamar: She was candid and professional in her review: her recommendation were practical and applicable, and her examples were impactful and illustrative. I shall simply say thank you Lilly.
This site is a SCAM. I am qualified for many jobs on there and they come back and say my resume and application was not approved. Then they want you to pay for a resume writing service.
The paid subscription for Ivy Exec was worth every penny. If you consider that every day that you are not working - for every hour - you loose a "net" of between $50-$100 /PER HOUR.
Using Ivy Exec (with a cost of LESS then the ONE HOUR you lose, while seeking a job), was very beneficial. Both their Search Engine capability, the fine-tuned triggers for matches, and the email structure / links generated - are great. Their support staff - both technical and SME are as good as they can be.
Finally -Kevin M Ko - is one of the best Cusotmer Service Representatives I had the pleasure to contact and seek support. He is knowledgeable, clear, precise and very accommodating.

Great Mentors program. I just completed the first call with my Mentor which was very useful. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I still haven't sat in on the webinars.
I "applied" to be on this site, and was promptly rejected. I was told that that I didn't meet their qualifications. I've been in marketing for 15 years, really?
Answer: They want you to pay them and they do not know anything about what people have accomplished in their background. They know NOTHING about BANKING, FINANCE, REGULATORY COMPLIANCE, FEDERAL OR STATE LAWS AND RULES. THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETELY CLUELESS AND YET THEY WANT YOU TO PAY THEM TO FIND YOU A JOB AND THEN THEY WANT THE "Client" to pay them for finding you, what a bunch of bologna! To answer your question, you are spot on.
Answer: It's a scam to take your money. Run from them screaming!
