I had been looking at an Alexander McQueen Double Belt With Chain. I saw it in the Alexander McQueen store and loved it, but it was extremely pricey. I tried to find something else that was similar but had no luck. I just couldn't figure out what to do. Then I found Italist.com! It showed the exact same belt, but was $400 USD less! Sold! I was very concerned that this item might be a knock-off, used or damaged, but I was assured by Italist that this was a brand new, name brand item in perfect condition. They were telling the truth. Not only did the belt arrive in perfect condition and is clearly an original item, it arrived so quicky that I was, literally, shocked. I couldn't believe it. I think that it arrived within a week. I had to pay customs and tax, but the overall amount that I spent was still $500 less than I would have spent buying the item here.
So, I bought the exact same item that I would have purchased directly at an Alexander McQueen store, it came in perfect brand-new condition, arrived promptly and saved me over $500 in total cost.
I would definitely purchase at Italist.com again and would highly recommend buying from this site.

I really didn't expect such a fast service. I asked them that I need my order faster because need it for the party in three days. I just send them email and get answer immediately, the parcel arrived super quickly, ( never get order as quick as this time from other stores)and even the discount price is cheaper than in all online stores. I ordered a Kenzo shirt that was oversized by at about 2 sizes. Italist sought to charge 81 euros (approximately half the value of the item before shipping costs) for the DHL return from Australia. There are no fees for returns or duties listed on their website which I consider deceptive conduct and an absolute rip off.

Our prices are extremely competitive (up to 40% lower than our competitors) because we ship directly from the best Italian luxury boutiques. Thanks to our direct-import model, we allow our customers to purchase the best luxury items, carefully selected by our partner boutiques, at the same price they would find on the streets of Milan, Rome or Florence.
Just to give you an example, the Aquazzura Maia Sling 75 that you purchased previously cost approximately AUD 340 more on Farfetch.
When you decide to return an item, there are costs involved. As much as we'd like international shipping to be cheaper, it still costs money to send an item from one part of the world to the other. As regards customs duties, Italian custom categorizes an international return as an import of a good, so it applies import duties and/or courier charges on the return.

If you're looking for purchasing a brand item, definitely check italist.com, great collection with great price that no other retailer can match. I purchased a pair of sandals for more than 25% less what Nordstrom, Farfetch, and Neiman Marcus offered. The only downside is the return policy, which is not easy like other similar retailers.
