So far, I love the iPostal service for the convenience of operating my business professionally using a business address.
Easy to use, good notifications and lots of options. Had 1 piece of junk mail that wasn't mine delivered to me digitally but luckily I didn't have to pay anything to just dispose of it. I really like this service.
I like the ease of use and the idea of having a virtual office. I dislike the charging of my card to add additional funds to my account. I don't feel like I need a prepaid balance on my account after every payment.
That's it. I'm paying you for a service. And to make you stop bothering me I have to fill out every section and have a comment more than fifty characters. This is absurd.
From the beginning I have had nothing but issues with ipostal at the Staples location in Sonoma. In the beginning the staff wasn't even aware that this service was being offered. Then I was told by the manager that I couldn't have mail or packages sent there. And yet that is the whole reason why I opened the account. And to top it off, I recently went to pick up a scheduled package (which to me is ridiculous that you have to schedule a pickup in the first place) only to find out the store opened my package without consent. That is a federal crime. This is the worse. Back to UPS store. Never had issues with them. Not worth the savings. Not recommended
Our iPostal1 account was located at Staples in Laurel. It was the worst service experience ever. There was rarely anyone that was willing to speak to us about our account. Staff would just walk past us. Some employees had no idea that they were an iPosatl1 site so there was always confusion. We never actually received any mail from there even when we had confirmation that our business documents had arrived at the location. I would not recommend at all.
It took showing up for my first few pieces of mail to get a kind human to explain the process of virtual PO Boxes, but once I understood the process, I've found it to be very helpful
All phone and on-site customer service at the mailing facility has been exceptional. I found the original sign up information on the iPostal website misleading on turn around time. The website said approximately 3 days but it actually takes 1-2 days to get a batch of documents consolidated, then another 1-2 days before the selection is available to make a choice about shipping, and then more days before it is mailed.

Runs smoothly as expected. I travel a lot so it's nice to know that my packages will be waiting for me safe and sound!
I love my mail location! Postal 1 has been great also, very attentive, responding to all my questions quickly and clearly but my mail location is soooo friendly and welcoming! They have coffee and couches and the people are nice and seem to enjoy working there. I'm referring to my 4231 Balboa Ave #1178 San Diego, CA ******* mail location. I also have a mailbox at Staples on Kearny Mesa Rd that meets that meets my expectations but they made the process of adding another person to my account unnecessarily difficult by insisting that I come in in person to provide a form that I only have online. I was not able to access the form while I was there so they told me to just email it to them which is what I strongly requested to do from the get go but apart from that one experience Staples has been fine it's just that having the two mailboxes in the same neighborhood one being stationed at Staples and one at an independent postal annex has highlighted the difference in approach of big corporations vs small business. I realize that neither reflects ipostal1 but in a way it does because Staples literally said that nobody thinks about ipostal1 that much. In their defense the employees look young and inexperienced and focused on doing the right thing.

By offering a real-street address starting at only $9.99 per month at over 2,200 locations, we offer a great value. Our strategy is to charge the lowest monthly mailbox fee possible and then charge customers only for the optional services they choose, like scanning mail content and packages.
We believe this is the fairest way to price, so people who don’t need optional services do not subsidize the people who do.

I know that my mail is safe, don't have worry about picking it up so fast.
I love how I am quickly of any issue or delivery. I receive prompt service.
I'm a foster turned adoptive mama and found ipostal1 when searching for a way maintain contact with my daughters Mom without giving away my personal information. This was an affordable and simple way to do that! When she sends a letter I am able to see it and have it mailed to my actual address unlike a PO BOX which I'd have to make a special trip just to check it whether there was mail or not.
When I was looking at virtual address' the site listed I would need a Form 1583 IF IT WAS FOR A BUSINESS.
I didn't need this for a business, so I purchased the Blue Plan for our needs. We were homeless and didn't have an address, which is specifically why we chose this service. We needed an address to get new Identification, apply for jobs, deal with taxes, healthcare and all of that stuff.
You can't use this service without a current address, and 2 forms of ID matching that address.
I DON"T HAVE AN ADDRESS, so it was completely useless for me.
Website should be more clear about this before completing purchase.
Instead you can complete purchase, THEN they give you the form and inform you of these requirements.
IF you are planning on moving and can set this up ahead of time while you still have an address, this service would probably be very useful.
If you lose you home and don't have time to set it up, it's useless.

The notarized Form 1583, along with the proper forms of ID, are required by the USPS for anyone establishing a mailbox address, whether virtual or physical. It is not an iPostal1 requirement. This is required in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf.

We're happy to be able to say that we've had thousands and thousands of customers that have been able to successfully use our addresses for DMV, business, banking purposes and more. Throughout the years that we have offered our digital mailbox services, we've found that each institution/state has their own software and guidelines that are followed to verify the addresses. We highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable. We understand that there is a possibility that not all of our addresses may work for all purposes, and because of this we do provide you with a 30-day grace period. You're welcome to try us out - and if you end up closing the account within 30 days of signup because you couldn't use the address, you can reach out to us to request a full refund of your subscription payment. If that does not work and store claims they never received or can't find the package, then you need to consult with the iPostal1 Customer Service team at service@iPostal1.com about next steps.

Thousands of customers have used our service to register their business or for their DMV needs. However, in Oregon, Missouri, Washington State, and California, we suggest that you check with government agencies to determine what you can or cannot do with your virtual address. For banking, some banks or credit card companies may not accept transferring your address to your iPostal1 address, so best to check with them ahead of time.
