I requested my mail to be forwarded to my home address and was quoted $74 for the shipping via DHL from a list. Although quite pricey, I was later charged over $114 which included $89 for shipping and $25 for labour which was not mentioned anywhere. I had to live chat multiple times and wait weeks just to get a reply in which they agreed to refund me $25 labour charge which was charged incorrectly but still refused to refund me the difference in shipping. They insisted that $89 was somehow correct and completely ignored the fact that I was quoted $74!.
The company is simply terrible to deal with, if you have an issue, they simply pass you on to the mailbox provider and take no responsibility. The complaints procedure is simply non-existent.

Our team investigated your situation, spoke with your mail center and tried to duplicate your quoted price. They noticed that the $25 labor charge was a glitch in the system, and as you mentioned, this amount has been refunded. They were unable to duplicate the $74 shipment price.

We're happy to be able to say that we've had thousands and thousands of customers that have been able to successfully use our addresses for DMV, business, banking purposes and more. Throughout the years that we have offered our digital mailbox services, we've found that each institution/state has their own software and guidelines that are followed to verify the addresses. We highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable. We understand that there is a possibility that not all of our addresses may work for all purposes, and because of this we do provide you with a 30-day grace period. However, some of our Office Building locations do provide live-answering services. This is something that you will need to pay them for directly, separate from your iPostal1 subscription. Answer: If you have a tracking information that shows the package was delivered to the store, then first step is to work with the store to confirm receipt and look for the package. If that does not work and store claims they never received or can't find the package, then you need to consult with the iPostal1 Customer Service team at service@iPostal1.com about next steps.

Thousands of customers have used our service to register their business or for their DMV needs. However, in Oregon, Missouri, Washington State, and California, we suggest that you check with government agencies to determine what you can or cannot do with your virtual address. For banking, some banks or credit card companies may not accept transferring your address to your iPostal1 address, so best to check with them ahead of time.

While most of our locations offer a yearly mailbox fee of $99, we do offer some Select and Prestige locations that start at a higher price point. Unfortunately, we are unable to identify your account from this review, however, based on the amount you mentioned in your review, we can guess that you chose a Prestige location, starting at $399 annually and the Gold plan, which includes 240 mail items per month.
Pricing for all ‘Optional Services’ is posted on the Pricing pages on our website. Our goal is total transparency. Our strategy is to charge the lowest monthly mailbox fee possible and then charge customers only for the optional services they choose, like forwarding, scanning mail content, or mail pickup.
We believe this is the fairest way to price, so people who don’t need optional services do not subsidize those who do.
