Really, I have never once received a call back and I have applied for approx 50 jobs. This site is just to keep your hope up, but it is getting pretty discouraging. There are jobs being advertised and then when you actually call the employer, they say straight out no, there are no job openning at all.
I started to set up an account to post a job for my lawn care company. After about an hour of filling out forms and details about my business I found out that my free job listing would cost about $13 per click. Thats not even per applicant- anyone that is checking out the listings will cost me $13. I said no thanks, but now they won. T leave me alone. 3 times on the phone and in 6 emails I said not interested please don't contact me anymore, and they keep sending emails and calling. Last week I promised the next contact would get an online review, and there was another email Friday and another one today-4 days later. I'm sure they will keep coming so each time will get another online review somewhere.

I have even worked with Indeed customer support and even the most specific of job searches (even using quotations and the Advanced search tool) returned results that had nothing to do with what I was looking for. They kept saying my terms were too "broad". They even did a search for me and the results were still not relevant to what I was looking for. This is the worse job-seeking site I have ever used.
Hi Monica, thank you for reaching out to us. We have responded to your review via private message.
I would like to know; why ask for our reviews/ratings when you are dictating what the person is to say. They are no longer at the company for a reason. Don't ask if your site do not want to hear the the persons true thoughts. I worked for Aetna for 14 years. I did am speaking of my experience as your site had ask. Your job site outside of this disappointing denial of posting of my review has been okay. Freedom to speak is a valuable form of communication. Please dont take that away. I do not hate Aetna but with changes comes at times changes that are not favorable.

I am initiating a small business and for the past month I started to hiring people, as suddenly my account is disabled for no reason given nor reason. I thought it is due to subscription and paid for new subscription but I found out the account still disabled and I still receiving messages from applicant. I don't know if it was deactivated or blocked, but I can't find all my job advertisements including all the candidates that I was suppose to review/filter.
Please give me a valid reason why my account is having this issue, no matter what I click I always go back to the same page.

Job hunting is sometimes stressful, but Indeed.com sometimes has a couple of potential jobs that I can apply for (but never get). It is very limited in the amount of "jobs" and recruits more for volunteerism or internships. Not at all what they state they are!
Indeed is the best job search engine in the United States. Other sites such as Zip Recruiter, Monster, and Career Builder are filled with outdated or scam like job postings. Navigating through the website or app as a job seeker is easy compared to other sites. Furthermore, I have posted jobs to different sites such as Indeed and Monster. From an employer standpoint, Indeed is hassle free and user friendly. Five stars indeed!
Hi Ron, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us! We are so happy to hear that you have had a great experience with Indeed.
We have received many applicants for each position. Some are qualified and some not so qualified but overall; good applicants. Still interviewing; no hire yet. The user friendliness of this site and the assistance if calling in have been excellent.
Thanks so much for your review!
Ripoff pricing and sleazy salespeople with awful customer service to boot. They charged me thousand of dollars for ads that got a better response at a nominal cost from Craigslist. Indeed is not long for this scene with their unique combo of poor service and support.
Hi Russell, sorry for the poor experience. We have contacted you via private message to further assist. Please follow up with us there.
I am not an employer, but a job seeker! I lost my job due to covid and haven been turning in 5 or so applications weekly since August of 2020. I used numerous sites, and indeed was always the best one with leads. They always emailed me, which I was grateful for! Well they finally did it. They sent me an alert on an apparel design job, which is what I was hoping to get back into! Thank you SO much Indeed for ending my covid nightmare! You are amazing.
Stephanie, we're thrilled to hear this! Thank you for your kind words and for using Indeed for your job search. We wish you the best of luck!
Used Indeed dot com for over one month for sending resumes to prospective employers. A total of 40 + resumes sent to so called employers looking for help but not one single reply... from any of them. I should have read the reviews first and taken some time to investigate this crummy site.
It looks legit from a distance but as time went by it was clear that not any of my resumes made it to the employer. I switched from this cheesy site to a more respectable one and had instant results.
Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this fraudulent site. It will just waste your precious time.
We had this company with our business for several months, until one day the decided they didn't want our money any longer. Shut us down and wouldn't even explain why? Just kept sending us the terms and condition rules. I'm sorry but you allow other businesses that do the same thing we do. Not only did we pay for their services, they won't even allow us our candidates that we was already in contact with. Or the Contacts we had already paid for! I say, this site is a SCAM!

I am fairly new to the job posting section of Indeed, however all the tools are there to make the process easy and efficient. It is simple to use and has gotten me some good candidates and hires so far.
We posted a couple jobs recently on Indeed.com. We received tons of resumes but most had absolutely no relevance to the job we had posted, and many were so short as to be useless. We won't use this service anymore.
Hi Phillip, thank you for reaching out to us and sorry that the candidate quality you received was not what you were looking for. We'd be happy to offer suggestions for improvement so that you receive suitable applicants. If you'd be interested in these suggestions, please contact us at sitejabber@indeed.com and we'd be happy to assist. Thank you.
Spoke to a rep who guided me through the process of getting the biggest return on my job posting. I had no idea of the ins and outs of putting a really good ad for a job in our center. I learned a lot and the gentleman was patient and made sure I understood why I was doing it the way he suggested. Indeed is a great resource and doesn't cost a zillion dollars. We've already hired 2 new employees and have a chance of getting one more. I'm sure I'll be using INDEED again in the future.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback!
They shut us down without a warning! We consistently spend hundreds of dollars on our hiring ads for sales managers and sales closers. Which when they get hired are extremely excited to work with an ethical business with great pay where they get consistent growth and education to excel in their skills.
We are a startup in the education space that consistently provides first class job opportunities and growth for all our employees!
Out of all the jobs posted we have the most competitive pay and therefore we get consistent applications that we rely on to provide company growth and support all our team members in our company!
They dont communicate anything!
I even reviewed all their policies and there is nothing we've done wrong!
I cant believe they destroy business growth for solid companies & startups that need world class talent!
DO NOT RELY on INDEED. It will hurt your business.
"Hi Jenny, all accounts and jobs are subject to our standard reviewing process. The account has gone through our reviewing process and our team has concluded that we will not show these openings in our search results. The account will remain in its current disabled status. As the account has been disabled by Indeed you do not have the option to post a new position. Please note: Indeed may reject or remove any job and may disable any Company's account, for any or no reason. We cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to remove any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest. This is a final decision that will not be reversed. If you have urgent hiring needs, we highly suggest utilizing other hiring services. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
I am beyond disappointed in Indeed. We are a team of therapists In Calgary, Toronto and vancouver that assist special needs children with different forms of therapy (including behavioural therapy). We posted on indeed and received many applicants (several of them whom we already hired), but suddenly our account is disabled. We were relying on indeed to find suitable therapists for our special needs clients. Due to the sensitive nature of this field, we require a large pool of applicants to select from. Is this about money? We cannot afford to pay the same large sum large corporations pay Indeed. We are a small group that tries to do something positive for the community. Why are we being punished? We spent what to us is alot of money. I'd like some answers please
Hi Nina, thanks for reaching out. To provide some clarity, all accounts and jobs are subject to our standard rolling reviewing process that can occur at any time. Our team has concluded that Indeed will be unable to show your openings in our search results. In addition, Indeed does not allow non-job postings. This includes, but is not limited to, jobseeker fees, training and education opportunities, franchising opportunities, multi-level marketing opportunities, jobseeker employment solicitation, expired jobs, and jobs which do not represent a specific employer vacancy. Indeed always retains the right to remove any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest. This is a final decision that will not be reversed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. If you have urgent hiring needs, we suggest utilizing other hiring services.
I posted a job with indeed. Somehow, I have no idea how, They have taken 1700. Out of our account since Feb. I called and they said oh you sponsored a job. I never signed up for this service. When I posted it was free. I thought it strange that they asked for my credit card. I got a call from some girl saying she was our account manager and if we had questions ask her. I said I don't know what you are talking about. We then found the charges. I called her back and she was laughing saying we signed up and had to pay and nothing could be done. I tried to take my cc info off the site and guess what... you can't! I had to call my bank and tell them and report my cc stolen. 1700. No one ever applied and the ones that I got were over a year ago still the same. Not even hairstylist, this is a scam. They tell you we have no control who applies. Seriously, thieves. If you own a Fantastic Sams stay away at all cost!
Hi Kelly, we have responded to your review via private message to assist.
I feel i was very clear in the description of the positions posted. I got an enormous amount of resumes from ppl with no experience and not even in the field of work. Indeed should use a stronger filter so it doesn't cost their customers to look at so many resumes that do not apply to the job or description posted.
Hello, we're sorry for the poor candidate quality you've seen while using Indeed. We'd be happy to work with you to edit your jobs and receive better qualified applicants. If this is something you'd be interested in, please email us at sitejabber@indeed.com and we will gladly assist. Thank you!
I have been using indeed for a while now and I have noticed that I never get a call back for any of the positions that I have applied for. Now, I do realize at one point it was kind of difficult to find employment however, I do think things have turned around. I have 17 years experience, great work ethic, have never quit a job, no need to keep going but using this site is a waste of time. If your looking to gain employment stay away from indeed.com, Indeed!
Answer: Hello Anita, positions posted for free stay on Indeed for a total of 120 days. Sponsored positions can stay on the site until an employer has filled the job and closed it on Indeed.

Answer: Hello Gerard, sorry for the negative experience. Indeed recently augmented existing search quality programs with new, ongoing strategies to make sure all jobs on Indeed meet standards for quality. This effort included a large scale review of job listings. Jobs that violated our guidelines and companies that did not meet our quality standards were disabled. We apologize that this was a frustrating process for you and will provide this feedback to our Search Quality team for future improvements.
Answer: By NO MEANS should you pursue this so-called job offer further and in fact, you should report them to the Better Business Bureau.
