How long can a job stay posted?

Answer:

Hello Anita, positions posted for free stay on Indeed for a total of 120 days. Sponsored positions can stay on the site until an employer has filled the job and closed it on Indeed.

Question:

My account was suspended for no reason after years of using indeed. no notification from indeed. i had to call in to find out what was going on. said they needed to verify the business with a utility bill and the ein number, which i sent in. rep was out of the office for 3 days straight and then the account was deactivated. what happened?

Answer:

Hello Gerard, sorry for the negative experience. Indeed recently augmented existing search quality programs with new, ongoing strategies to make sure all jobs on Indeed meet standards for quality. This effort included a large scale review of job listings. Jobs that violated our guidelines and companies that did not meet our quality standards were disabled. We apologize that this was a frustrating process for you and will provide this feedback to our Search Quality team for future improvements.

Question:

On 2 occasions i've responded through indeed about setting up an interview but i get no reply. i don't know if they are receiving my emails

Answer:

They don't have the integrity to properly servicing job seekers. I would be wary of the answers you get from them regardless because twice I have been lied to about potential employers who aren't actually in existence. One of them was a work at home MLM scheme that enrolls members in a club from which they prevent you from leaving. Avoid at all costs. Unorganized, unauthentic and unethical.

Question:

How can i post vacancies thru indeed, am a recruitment officer, do i ha have to pay a fee?

Answer:

Hi Flordeliza, we would be happy to help here! To post a job with Indeed please visit www.indeed.com/worldwide and select the country of your choosing. From there, please select "Employer/Post a Job" in the upper left corner. You will then be guided through the steps of creating an Indeed account and posting a job. In addition, you have the option to post for free or sponsor jobs. There are some exceptions to the free posting. However, when an ad is sponsored, you have the option to set up a budget and pause or close the job whenever necessary. If you have any additional questions or concerns please email us at sitejabber@indeed.com. Thank you.
