I had tried to cancel an order, which had not been shipped yet, of coarse they shipped it a couple days later, and I was charged.
I then tried to return it, you can not reach anyone, you can not write down reason for return, once they have your money--TRANSACTION IS OVER.
I believe they are a bit on the corrupt side, as they wont even contact you, or allow you a means to contact them in person. And if they get your card #.
Change cards--they will continue to ship the unwanted item and deduct it from your card.
I WOULD NEVER DO BUSSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN
I've used I-Herb a few times. You never know when stock will be in - unreliable when wanting to re-order. Problem is how they handl e damaged product. I received a damaged item, and instead of them mailing out a new one, they said they would only refund me the money. However I am an international customer, which means I would have to pay shipping, duties and taxes all over again on the product. They refunded me only for the product amount, and after much going back and forth with them, they stated "as a courtesy", they would refund me 20% of the duties and taxes. Then they wanted me to send them a copy of the receipt. I advised them the order #, and advised them they had access to the order as they were the ones that submitted ME with a receipt, but no, I had to send them a copy of the receipt to get the 20% refund of duties and taxes, but didn't have to submit it to get the refund of the product. I figure they think if they can screw with you enough you'll just give up. Other companies are far better at refunding damaged items and actually care about keeping their customers. Go elsewhere.
If there is a rate of 0 i would choose that. Ordered on 12th nov and havent not received my parcel even after 1 month. Contacted dhl but they said i have to deal with iherb to know what is the problem of the parcel. So i emailed iherb and THERE IS NO REPLY FROM THEM. WHAT A SERVICE MAN. DEFINITELY GOING TI BE MY FIRST AND LAST PURCHASE AND that few hundred ringgit (i m from malaysia) would be a lesson for me.
It is my several times to order from their site, and they are scam, never received my parcel and each time said I refused to accept it. Completely fraud, never never buy anything from them

I'm actually shocked to see any bad reviews…. They always have the best prices and if they're not the cheapest they're only up by a dollar or two on skin care vs styleVAnna or YESSTYLE but those sites take over a month to ship. I placed my order 2 days ago and it said arriving on Friday which is fast but it actually arrived today which is Wednesday. I'm extremely happy. Havnt tried the product yet but they're made by other companies so that's a whole different review but they're all authentic and yes I check… thank you iHerb, it's nice to have good customer service and fast shipping from a company for a change. I'm beyond happy. All shipped in one small box instead of 5 different ones which is so annoying. I hate getting a bunch of packages from one order, it's a waste of paper and takes forever for each to show. This was a perfect order and delivery I honestly couldn't have done it better myself and I'm a ups driver…
Update: made a second and third purchase and was deliver with 2 days, boxed perfectly and extremely happy. I ordered from YESSTYLE twice over 3 weeks ago and they haven't even shipped. Ide rather pay more with iHerb and get my shipment faster.

Now it has been 8 days and they didn't give the shipment to the shipping company

Terrible company! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE they have taken my money and refused to pay me back even though I have no product as they added on double the price of my product shipping costs (which I agreed to) when paying. Then added another doubkle the price cost after once the product was in the UK which I refused to! So I have no product and am down three times what the product is worth and they refuse to pay you back or speak to you with any dignity or remorse

My order was cancelled without notification. I found out when I was tracking the order. No answers to my several requests. Guess I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I returned a product and received a refund authorization email. Two months later and no refund. I've emailed the company asking when I would receive a refund and have not received a response.
Don't ever order from iherb. I saw that my order was going to my previous address and there was no phone customer service to stop the order from going to the wrong address.

I placed an order with iherb, and chose expedited 1-3 shipping. I never received any email either confirming the order, or notifying me of shipping.
After 4 days I went back to the site to check the shipping status, ( I should also mention that this order was being shipped within the same state), and I noticed that they had changed the shipping to 5 day shipping. So, I did a live chat to see what happened. The customer service person I was speaking to said that, "yes, they changed the shipping to 5 day". I said that that is not what I had agreed to when I placed the order, and that they can not change the terms after a customer checks out. The following is the response I got, (cut and pasted directly from the chat)..." we can do whatever we please with that. I am not going to argue nor waste time to try and justify it. You are ordering from us and we have decided to change the information from 1 - 5 days instead of 1 - 3 days." And then he ended the chat.
That is not how any company should treat it's customers, and frankly there are lots of other online drugstores that I would much prefer to do business with.
Never received my purchase and didnt get a reply when I emailed them.
I tried reaching the company that supposedly "delivered" my products (I wasn't even in the country so its IMPOSSIBLE for me to have received it); they simply told me that the order number that I've received doesn't even exist!
Please watch out, I purchased over 70$ and that $#*! hurts when someone just steals from you.

The product detail showed expiration date oof 8/2023 so I was concerned about the product expiring beforehand since 4 bottles takes me into 2024. On January 19,2017 I placed an order for two items.
My Aura casia Rose absolute essential oil was missing from this order. I received a refund. What I needed was the product, not the refund, but let's try again.
I placed a second order on January 25,2017 that also included the Aura casia Rose absolute essential oil a second time.
I do not know what is wrong with their customer service lately, but I do not understand why I have placed two orders for the same item and I have not received it either time.
My small business depends on this oil and my customers have been waiting for me to make custom products for them for two weeks because I'm waiting for the oil to be shipped from iherb.
I have been a loyal customer for 10 years with no problems before this year. I see the other reviews in the last 3 months are terrible as well. What happened Iherb?
Also, the packages that have been arriving from UPS recently have been severely punched in and damaged. I get my packages shipped to a UPS store from IHerb, and no other company packages are damaged this way like the ones that come from Iherb. UPS shippers and drivers are not taking care of the products that come from Iherb.
I ordered from iHerb for the first time a couple days ago without reading any reviews beforehand. I ordered next-day shipping through UPS, indicating I'd recieve my package two days from placing my order. The transaction process went smoothly, although I was concerned that there was no tracking service available. I was also very concerned that I didn't recieve a confirmation email of any sort. After reading loads of terrible reviews about the website, I tried MULTIPLE times to log back into my account that I had just made MINUTES prior and was rejected every time. I tried resetting my password and nothing worked; customer service was useless. Thankfully, I ended up getting my package on time. The packaging was poorly taped shut and flimsy, and the product was thrown in the box with no bubble wrap or other protection. The condition of the product was fine, but I probably won't be using the site again simply because the ordering process was so stressful and messy due to lack of communication, and the packaging was so poor.
Cancelled items on my order without giving me the opportunity to choose an alternative.
It was a heavy item, I'd already paid shipping costs that were based on the order weight but iHerb didn't care about that. When I expressed this in a kind and professional manner and asked if I ordered an alternative brand of the same item I'd get the shipping fees waived, iHerb customer service responded but didn't address most of my query.
I also asked why the pending payment on my account was for £41 and not £37 and it took 3 emails before I recieved an answer, by this time I'd gotten quite frustrated and stated if the agent couldn't help me could he escalate to another member of staff. His response addressed my question, however he responded with this;
"Thank you so much for the kind words. It really does brighten our day when a customer takes the time out of their day to contact us."
I deal with high level customer complaints all day and I would never respond to someones dissatisfaction by thanking them for their kind words. I'm British so maybe I took the response as sarcasm unnecessarily, but I think people from most cultures would take the response as facetious.
In very good faith I ordered 3 Solgar items to the value of £44.77 but to my utter dismay found that I had to pay £19 customs duty in order to receive the goods as it was not made clear on the website that the items would be shipped from the USA - had I known this I would not have proceeded with my order. I believe I was grossly misled by iHerbs and contacted their customer services who were totally unhelpful and gave me a lengthy account saying that it was not their responsibility that customs duty had to be paid as it was the law of the relevant country... well I know this, I'm not stupid - they totally failed to understand that I wanted a refund of the customs duty I had to pay because of them misleading me! I'm sure they do understand but are just not wishing to acknowledge their responsibility. So for all of you who are ordering from outside the USA, please be warned that you will have to pay a considerable customs levy before you receive your items... it worked out much cheaper for me to purchase the same items locally. Needless to say I will never be ordering from iHerbs again!

Answer: Yes you will be charged extra, they dont make it clear when you place an order, but I was asked to pay an extra £15 sterling before they would deliver my goods to my home, so I refused and am waiting a refund of my order which they now tell me will take up to 6 months, not a good company to deal with, buy from home if I were you, I will not purchase from america again.
