“Consistent Reliable Resources”

Reynaldo R.
1/16/24

As a gamer, I'm impressed by IGN's capability to deliver consistent reliable resources for the gaming community. The video and podcast also adds a unique element to what they cater because not every gaming news site have these features. I do hope that they improve the loading speed on some of their pages because it may take some time to load.

“Intrusive ads & greed”

IGN S.
11/28/21

Loved ign, but over the last 5 years their ad policy has become the most intrusive in the gaming industry, so much that u cannot even scroll down the page without it stuttering, reloading, ads auto playing. It's basically greed, if u need that many ads to keep going, ruining your customer experience, then hey, lower your outgoings/employees/greedy shareholders etc so you can deliver a half decent service. Most of the decent reviewers have lefts it won't hurt the business if you let a lot of them go. But hey, greed will always come first, especially for American companies

This site makes it obvious that they trade early access for good reviews. They will rate the worst bull$#*! a 8/10, just to keep the money flowing.

Bad, untrustworthy, hyping games that are crap... this site is all that is awful and sad about the games industry.

IGN Scale goes from 6/10 = utter garbage and game dev that cannot help us get money to 9/10 average to 10/10 good. This site is literally a scam in that regard.

I have spent a lot of money on $#*! games based on reviews from this site.

Back in the day, IGN was one of the good video game review sites, but now, it's nothing more than a joke. The reviews these days are horrible, as IGN will give good ratings to Call Of Duty games while any game involving Sonic The Hedgehog gets a bad review. One Kirby game got a low score because of the complaint about the campaign being short (which is kind of expected from a Kirby game). This is not a site for those looking for honest reviews.

All I see on the site is about movies and TV shows I'm not even interested in those, not much about games. I would look elsewhere if you want gaming content.

This Site should never be trusted. They have worse censorship than the Chinese. The people who run the boards are nasty people.

IGN is one of the most well known video game review sites in America, and across the Globe. This is the unfortunate fact for any gamer that is not that knowledgable in the field of video games, for they would be fooled by every review posted by IGN. They recommend games that reek of cancer and 12 year old squeakers, such as any modern Call Of Duty game. There are not enough memes in the world to cure some of the reviews I have had to read on IGN. The fact that they give reviews like 8/10s and above to games that are simply copies of the past year with slightly better graphics. 7.8/10 on Pokemon ORAS for too much water? How much worse can you get at reviewing a game that was just fine? If you have the money of the Triple A companies, enough email accounts and determination, you will be able to stick your hand up IGN's butt and make them your puppet. They will say anything for COD games for the right price, such as giving it a higher rating them games that have actual decent storylines. 9/11 was an inside job, and every day we stray further from God's light. Thanks.

People on the message boards are bullies. Not only that, but the moderators don't do their job. Someone jerk called me a b**** for no reason whatsoever. I even reported him to the moderators. Guess what? They DID NOT delete the post. And I was banned from that site as well. Why? Because I was being insulted? I was bullied on this site for no reason whatsoever. Probably because I'm autistic. Not only that as well, but the new design is horrible. They are very Anti-Nintendo and only like the M for Mature games. Not only GameSpot's, but the majority of their reviews are way beyond what I give them as well. And because of all the countless bullies on their message boards, it's the worst site on the internet. That's about it.

I have purchased from this site twice before and received gold quickly. This last time, I have heard nothing, not been able to contact them, called and left voicemail, left several messages. I am disputing this with Paypal right now. But I will never use them again. I am going back to KCQ.com. Never a problem and support has always been there.

I ordered 200 mil gold for diablo 3. I did not receive it within 30 minutes. I talked to live chat on ignmax. The guy told me the person who was assigned to deliver my gold was sleeping and will not be available until 4 more hours. I complained and asked if I get a bonus for the long wait. The customer rep told me yes. I check back 2 hours and a half later. A different customer rep told me they were out of stock and I will have to wait longer than 4 hours and told me they will notify me when they have the gold. He also stated that I will get no bonus. These guys are horrible. Stay AWAY from this site. I used 2 different gold sites before. I got my gold instantly. I regret coming here. They will give you nothing but excuses.

DO NOT (TRY TO) BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

I tried to buy from them. I sent the money with paypal. Immedately had a confirmation mail but from that moment they are not answering me. Their English is very poor and even their emails look like written by a 6 year old boy. I tried to get back my money, unluckily PayPal couln't help on it. Lesson learned.

I placed my order 5 days ago, I have had up to 2 different excuses a day from their support as to why they can't deliver, ranging from them not having enough gold (I only made a very small order to test them out, 20$ worth, so not good at all) to the person incharge being off today, I've requested a refund twice, and gotten nowhere, I have now had to go as far as filing a paypal dispute, and I'm expecting to have to change it to a paypal claim going off my experience with these people.

I did some research and found two companies IGE and GameUSD that were featured in gamespot. I would trust them because of that
