If a password isn't enough, they send a code. But there's no point in that because that won't be enough, you'll need to provide every single bit of information to access your account. And they'll make it as difficult as possible to provide all the crap they think they need to verify you. This will include your driver's license, ssn, birthdate, video selfie (as ridiculous as it sounds) but it won't work, video chat with some rando who now has access to the driver's license you had to send, another code, a link to click and when all that is done... Congrats! You can now log in with the password you started off with. Oh. And another code. This insane system is supposed to protect your info not have you upload every possible identifying fact about you into the cloud. My account is no longer of interest cuz it can all be obtained through my uploads. And that's not considering the hours it takes to go through this ginormous pita hassle. Do yourself a favor and avoid it like the plague.
ID. ME is vey easy to use. It cuts out a lot of steps to log in. It also is used to log in to the IRS website. You feel that your identity is secure using ID. ME.
Easy to use and appreciate it's not a Google login. It took two tries to get into SSA but still pay and efficient.

What a nightmare to get through. You have to give facial recognition, are you kidding me! Jumped through all of its hoops with no options not to, repeatedly, due to it not working. How many people, particularly the older population, can't manage getting through this. You can't complete, if you don't upload photos/video... many don't even have these options. I was told they should find somebody to help them do it, WTF!?

The signing up process and following the steps was very easy. Not one problem at all. After receiving confirmation that I have been verified, it says I can not login to my account and need to contact customer support. Makes no sense and aggravating to say the least!
