I used Turbo tax software to file my income tax return. I never spend so much time based on my previous filing experiences. This time (filed 2022 return) I worked on it for five days. After I thought I finally finish the income and expenses portion, I am on my way to file just one click away. That was when the nightmare started. Then I realized that I have a couple of mistakes which I never think it is important in filing until this time. After several phone calls and on line help from Turbo tax experts I almost gave up e-filing and want to go for paper filing via mail that I don't want to do. So I waited for half of a day to settle my anxiety. I thought I'll give one last try. This time I called Turbo tax on line help and talked to a live expert, after I explain my problem, she said let's try to go to IRS website that no previous Turbo agent suggested me to do.
I went ahead with her help without screen sharing and went thru many hurdles(for security measure) I was groaning and moaning about the hassles. Finally I went in to IRS site to get my official figure to input in Turbo tax 's form. Walla, it worked. I efiled my return at my sixth try. What a relief! PTL.
