However, I could not find a way to contact someone about ID.me specifically without going through the main IRS phone number that literally cannot be navigated unless your problem fits specially into the choices. After signing up, I noticed that my last name was not spelled correctly - missing two letters. There is no "for other issues and to speak to someone, dial O" type of option. Super frustrating.
Very happy with the easy access to video chat. It was difficult with trying to get the right documents to go thru. It was much easier to verify the document thru the video chat.

My experience was rocky, especially downloading a picture. As it just wouldn't happen. And finally the screen read pics successfully downloaded. Now, it took a good while. So, my advice is keep trying and chipping away, and it can happen for you too! Oh, and read the instructions on down loading the pics first, or you are really spinning your wheels. LOL.
